Network Season Rankings 1. ICE - 17 wins (87 points) 2. ROD - 6 wins (54 points) 3. NBC - 8 wins (45 points)
THE SHIELDS SISTERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LAST FOUR VICTORIES
The Shields sisters are on fire right now as they have been mainly responsible for the last four network victories since Tuesday night. Freshmen comedies Rachel and DJ Becky have been killing it on their networks as both comedies have surged past 170 million viewers now this week. This week is the first for new comedy DJ Becky which aired its second episode on Friday to an amazing 172.06 million viewers. This second episode of the series aired on a special night and time as DJ Becky regularly airs at the moment on Wednesday at 11pm inside of ICE's adult comedy block. The network aired this episode to give it a boost behind its successful Kelly Green Fridays (KGF) comedy block which will be rebranded as Thank Goodness It's Funny (TGIF) comedy block starting next Friday as ICE gained the rights for the rest of the season from NBC of the famous TV programming block theme name that started on United States broadcaster ABC way back in 1989 and made its way to NITRO's first season back in 2009. ICE has the right to TGIF from Friday October 12th, 2018 through Friday September 6, 2019. ICE usually switches nights for their lineups every season so it's not a given that they'll stick with comedies on Fridays next season but they will for the rest of this season and they're killing with them right now.
DJ Becky would add to this lineup if it aired every Friday night at 10pm in this lineup but ICE did it this week because the New Girls in Town Pageant auditions was a taped edition from Sydney, Australia that filmed those auditions earlier in the day around 18 hours ago previously so ICE shortened the length by 30 minutes and excluded some auditions from being shown on the telecast. Viewers who did want to see those auditions can watch them on the brand new Punky Power streaming network platform or repeat windows on secondary broadcasting channels Punky or NITRO owned WSNS (TV-44) in daytime. ICE's Head Programmer Lawrence Saint-Victor did say that ICE will air comedies from the rest of the week periodically in that 10pm throughout the season. Once the live shows start for the pageant it will be much easier to shorten the time more often as it's tougher with auditions because they try to fit in as many auditions as possible which is the reason why ICE goes with 3 hours of the pageant on Friday nights.
The Shields sisters Strawberry and Kay Shields have been a dynamic force like the NBC twins Allison and Terri Shields have been for their network. Strawberry can be argued as potentially ICE's top star right now with the removal of Allison coming into this season when she was traded to RTN ahead of the 2016 NITRO Rookie Entry Draft. NITRO says they plan on releasing a top 5 list for the month of September inside of the month of October and the first full Top 100 Actors List will be released after November Sweeps wraps on Sunday December 2th, 2018. The actual date of the release of the list is not known yet at this time. NITRO will continue to release the top 3 rookie lists and top 5 actors list every month. As of right now expect Strawberry to be at the top of that list for ICE but the question is where does Kay fall on that list?
Kay Shields right now has also been blowing up as this is her first full season in action as she was redshirted her first three seasons in NITRO after she was first drafted way back in 2010. Kay was only a baby at 8-years old when she was first drafted and is now 16-years old so ICE felt like she was finally ready to start her career since she was only 11-years old back in 2013 when NITRO was previously in session. There's no age restriction at the moment on getting drafted into NITRO but it's highly unlikely we'll ever see another sub-10 years old prospect ever be drafted again now that NITRO has these established draft competition. Back when NITRO had the Modeling School system out in Philadelphia they had a lot of girls who were babies who were seen as up and coming prospects but a lot of that changed ahead of the 2013 draft as networks aren't willing to take on risks of drafting prospects that young anymore due to maturity issues.
Either way, Kay Shields is ready to go as she'll be a grown ass woman in another couple of years from now and she has put in the work to be one of NITRO's top elite players for years to come as she's only getting started. Many NITRO analysts say she's ahead of her big sister Allison when she was in her first season so that's scary to think about right now although Ally was only 13-years old when she started in NITRO.
The oldest sister in the Shields family is Gillian and she's taken her popularity to another level at the age of 26-years old right now she's finally getting her breakthrough right now since moving back to Toronto back in 2013. After she spent years taking care of her little sisters and now that they're old enough to take care of themselves now she's ready for her time to shine now. Gillian being in DJ Becky will help her career greatly as she could be one of ICE's top actors too. Then there's middle child Gabrielle better known as Gabby was just released from prison last week and after spending years carrying NBC as their first true top actor and face of the franchise for the first three seasons of her career she'll have to reshape her career after spending all of that time locked and being at a new studio where she's no longer the top actor. Gabby starts her run on DJ Becky this Wednesday night so it should be interesting to see how that goes for her.
It was announced a couple of nights ago after the DJ Becky premiere that former NBC star rookie Madison Beer will be joining the cast of the show as well during the fourth episode of the series on Wednesday October 17th, 2018 so this is becoming a stacked cast on DJ Becky full of stars.
Tonight's episode featured young daytime star Pyper America and the host of daytime's most watched talk show It's High Noon as its second major guest after show creator Matt LeBlanc appeared on the pilot episode. Grace Kaufman who is also one of the show's producers also made her first appearance on the show as well as she has a recurring role in the show playing the role of Matthew Perry's character Chandler's ex-girlfriend Janice's daughter. Grace Kaufman now owns the sitcom slash theater producing company Kaufman Works which produces DJ Becky now and owns the Toronto's Friends comedy franchise with parent company Warner Bros. Television distributing the show.
Liz Huett (ICE Starlets), DJ Becky (Warner Bros. Television) (ICE-TV) (Channel 7)
Lastly, newly acquired ICE Starlet Liz Huett who at one point worked as a backup singer for Taylor Swift earlier in this decade has surged with her popularity due to her presence on the show. Liz who actually sings on the show has been getting high-praise for her performances. Liz competed on The Carpenters Hour back in 2012 but since she skipped out on auditioning in 2013 due to other engagements in the music industry she couldn't get drafted into NITRO so ICE signed her as a free agent off the street so this is looking like a great quiet signing for the Pheds. Liz has already started work on the new Saturday morning cartoon reboot of the Canadian animated teen comedy Braceface which premieres on ICE tomorrow morning as she voices a character who looks just like her in the show.
Highest Rated Scripted Performances on Each Network
1. Rachel (NBC) - 177.71 million (THU 10/4/18)
2. DJ Becky (ICE) - 172.06 million (FRI 10/5/18)
3. Dallas Cowgirls Undercover (ROD) - 157.41 million (MON 10/1/18)
DJ Becky is shockingly really close to Rachel in the ratings which is impressive since it just came out this week but DJ Becky might have the jump right now due to how popular Rachel became after Terri Shields joined the cast last week. The Shields sisters have done a stellar job promoting these two shows getting their fanbases on social media to hype the shows rather it be positively or negatively it has worked really well. These have been the two most talked about scripted shows in the past two weeks so it's no real surprise they're this close to being the first NITRO scripted shows to break the 200 million viewers mark.
These historic performances from Rachel and DJ Becky have helped the whole comedy genre in NITRO as ratings have really jumped as we have several comedies now way over 100 million viewers and we saw that again with the Friday comedies.
DJ Becky is now ICE's #1 comedy and the #2 comedy on all of NITRO behind Rachel but will that change when for both comedies when Bridget Satterlee's updated reboot of Laverne & Shirley comes out next month?
BRIDGET SATTERLEE = RATINGS!
Well so far we've seen Bridget Satterlee really come through in the ratings in daytime earlier today as she helped lifted the ratings for Tahj & Arielle AM and her live Music Jam concert performances gained almost 90 million viewers completely helping the premiere of ICE's newest game show ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders achieve a record 93 million viewers also lifting Kelly Kapowski to a new series-high 92 million viewers behind it. Those ratings were so huge they beat out a number of primetime programs from tonight.
On Friday night, Bridget guest starred on Youth of Life with Paris Jackson bringing the ratings for that show to a new series-high 161.78 million viewers keeping Bridget's star power cooking. Youth of Life is heating up just like Bastard Kids over on Wednesday nights so this is definitely a comedy to keep an eye on the rest of the season. Bridget Satterlee is definitely somebody who seems to be flaming up the ratings every time she appears on something now and Paris Jackson has heated up too this season she's probably gonna be one of the top non-drafted actors under the age of 30 to reach the top 10 or top 25 in the actor's list.
One thing that you will notice right away when looking at ICE's Friday comedy ratings compared to NBC's Must See TV Thursday block is that the ICE comedies get stronger throughout the night which is always a good sign that the block is working as we saw Young Girls reverse their performance from last week where they shedded a couple of million of viewers behind Molly in South Philly and actually grew this week as they were both over 140 million viewers obviously resulting in new series-highs for both programs. Young Girls has also been heating up as well as it's actually the most popular comedy of the entire week amongst youngsters between the ages of 12-17 and 18-24 in those demos. It's also been a comedy to keep an eye on in the off-net market as its been repeating well and its been streaming on the new Punky Power streaming network as well. Keep an eye on Young Girls also as it's a perfect fit with Youth of Life as both comedies follow young teenage girls growing up in tough school environments without their parents.
Now in the 8pm hour, ICE led off with Jaime which has been growing significantly the last few weeks putting some distance between it and Diff'rent Strokes on NBC and The Stella Sisters on ROD. Jaime is just like Young Girls and Youth of Life except this one focuses on the school setting. Jaime's growth can be compared to the recent growth of Full House on NBC over on Tuesday nights leading off the block.
In the 3-way diss show battle we had some drama all over the place and it's been a unique timeslot where we've had a lot of NITRO storylines play out. That timeslot drew a combined 350+ million viewers this week as this is one of the most competitive timeslots of the week in NITRO history not just this season. It's been a must see slot to see what drama sparks up between these three shows but most of the action has played out on both Molly in South Philly and I Love Lucy Hale as The YouTube Life hasn't had the surprises that those two shows have had so far but don't expect it to be like that completely. Just last week ICE rookie Michi Kat Grimes made her unofficial NITRO debut since getting out of jail on Molly in South Philly last week completely dropping bombshells that would change NITRO forever.
Starting over on Molly in South Philly it was a huge episode for them like it was last week when they had the Shields sisters on but this week they actually added a casting addition in ICE rookie Carmela Rose who was originally drafted by ROD in this most recent draft. Mela made her debut and it was an overhyped debut as she had the duties of making fun of Georgia Grace Martin, Pauline Hoarau, and Kalani Hilliker on The Waves with special guest star Madison Beer who made her official on-screen ICE debut since being traded there from NBC earlier in the week. Madison herself is coming out with her own diss show called Madison Hates NBC in a month from now which will air regularly on Saturday mornings. Madison had a message for NBC at the end of this episode as well that we will reveal later.
Some of the girls from the Molly in South Philly cast will be in action on Sunday Night Football on NBC when their Broad Street Bullies take on the Chicago Enforcers at Wrigley Field on the northside of town.
Over on I Love Lucy Hale which went up in the ratings getting a series-high 131.61 million viewers hosted a highly anticipated ass kicking with ROD rookie Charlotte McKinney who has been running her mouth disrespecting her boss Lucy Hale and Lucy who allowed new ICE Starlets Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Kara Del Toro to leave her studio unscathed. That wasn't going to happen this time with Charlotte McKinney as Lucy Hale called Jethro Grantham for help and she got her ass beaten and the beating was so bad that she had to go to the hospital overnight.
The question is who's next and what happens with Charlotte when she's okay and she moves to Toronto?
The YouTube Life has been light on the surprises so they're not doing as well as the other two sketch comedy series but we know at some point they'll have a surprise for us. There was rumors that had Tammy Oldehoff moved to NBC that she was going to pop up on there but ICE has chosen to hold onto her troubled ass for now.
Emily O'Brien (ICE)
Emily O'Brien (ICE Starlets), Who Wanted Nichole Dead? (Paramount Television) (ICE-TV) (Channel 7)
ICE closed the night on Friday starting with their New Girls in Town Pageant auditions which headed to the land down under in Australia as New Zealander Maia Cotton was the feature auditioner this week as she finished in the top 3 of the first Junior Beauty Pageant competition behind Thylane Blondeau who finished 2nd and Kaia Gerber who won the competition. Maia Cotton will be competing against a much competitive field of contestants so it will be interesting to see how she does this season on the senior level of the NITRO pageant competition.
The NGIT Pageant was a taped version for the first time this season so it was not live and results were leaked earlier in the day after they had taped the show down in Sydney, New South Wales before Tahj & Arielle AM which features the pageant hosts Arielle Kebbel and Tahj Mowry. The Detroit auditions last Friday night were hotter than hell and they scored a series-high 217 million viewers featuring Blueberry Shields live audition and this week they were 30 million viewers down from last week at 187 million viewers. Next week the auditions are back to being live and they're going to hit another huge stop in Vancouver which produced quite a bit of talent for that 2016 draft so expect ratings to potentially be back over 200 million viewers next Friday.
Who Wanted Nichole Dead closed the night a little bit down from last week but still over 150 million viewers which still makes it one of the top 2 dramas on all of NITRO. The mystery nighttime soap is doing very well for ICE right holding an impressive 80% retention after NITRO's #1 show the NGIT Pageant so that means that the soap is not being rejected by pageant viewers and ICE has to feel great about that right now as it's not easy to hold above 70% retention for any scripted series after a big behemoth like the NGIT Pageant.
Scott Clifton (NBC) & Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (ROD)
Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) (NBC-TV) (Ch. 4) (left), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) (ROD-TV) (Ch. 5) (right)
The race between ROD and NBC has really heated up lately both in daytime and primetime lately as NBC is gaining on ROD for 2nd place in both areas. ROD on Friday got back into 2nd place winning by almost 25 million viewers on top of NBC as ROD averaged 100 million viewers and NBC averaged just 76 million viewers but NBC was much improved as this was their best performing Friday night of the season so far as the network made some adjustments in their schedule after removed Team NBC a couple of weeks ago since there's not going to be a BOTNS related event until later this winter due to the WFL schedule.
One of the major reasons why ROD is on top of NBC on Fridays is a few key slots starting with The Stella Sisters which has heated up at 8pm getting 90 million viewers thanks to its lead-out I Love Lucy Hale improving greatly in its ratings the last couple of weeks. We've noticed that same trend for Jaime with Molly in South Philly. Diff'rent Strokes is doing pretty well in this slot but way behind The Stella Sisters then ROD goes into that 9pm hour with the Miss Roderick Pageant which will be difficult to fend off since that competition will get hotter as the season goes that's the main security blanket in ROD's lineup.
STEFFY FORRESTER vs. LIAM SPENCER WEEK 1
NBC revived the old Anna Kendrick Variety Show which aired on defunct network TEN the season before and aired on DV back in 2010. The Anna Kendrick Variety Hour had an impressive start at 82 million viewers which were way more than what Team NBC ever got in that 9pm timeslot creating a very good lead-in for Liam Spencer which changed slots this week after its premiere against the New Girls in Town Pageant's home run hitting hour of 12am.
The best soap battle of the week belongs in primetime between Bold and the Beautiful rivals Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) who have called each other out on social media for the longest now but that rivalry has really heated up this season. Jacqui Mac and ICE's Hunter Tylo called out Scott many times for not having his own nighttime soap opera and NBC finally made one for him last week so he's in the heat of this battle but he takes an L on his first try but this battle is long from over it's just getting started.
Steffy with a better lead-in grabbed 109 million viewers behind the 118 million viewers from the Ms. ROD Pageant while Liam had a smaller lead-in with Anna Kendrick's Variety Hour and grabbed 97.93 million viewers which was very impressive. Liam built over 15 million viewers from his lead-in and got a way bigger audience this week from the 81.31 million viewers he had last week for his premiere. The change of timeslots made a big difference.
Steffy better watch the fuck out because Liam came out swinging today and is not far behind her in the ratings.
Jacqui Mac can celebrate this week by beating Scott but she better hope that it stays like that for more than just one week.
Quinn Fuller followed Steffy Forrester and grabbed 112.74 million viewers which is a new series-high for its sister soap. Steffy was a spin-off of Quinn while Quinn was a spin-off of Sheila Carter which airs late on Saturday nights this season because ROD wanted to avoid that 12am hour of the NGIT Pageant on ICE this fall. ROD has been airing struggling nighttime soap Australian Nights instead which bled to nearly almost 50 million viewers from its lead-in which is never good. It's like people switch from Quinn Fuller to the pageant in droves. Luckily for ROD that hasn't affected Country Made too badly this season which has continued to grow out of Australian Nights at 1am.
NBC's late night schedule has seen some improvements lately in their numbers as their 3-hour stretch from 11am to 2am has stayed over 60 million viewers so no reason for a change right now but at some point, they will need to strengthen up to avoid last place on Fridays the whole season.
Fridays are the one night of the week where there are no true losers as we didn't have one program rate below the Mendoza Line of 60 million viewers and we've seen several programs rate well over 90 million viewers.
Tomorrow things will cool off from all of the Friday night action as we've got the LA Knockouts visiting the Australia Aussies for ROD Saturday Night Football which will be a Sunday morning game for the locals down in Sydney. Auditions for the Christina Grimmie Hour on NBC will be in South Korea as we'll have auditions for any draft competition for the first time in Korea. Romeo Miller and the Vegas Showgirls will be in Australia for their auditions. NBC moves a pair of episodes of Killer Love to Saturdays after Xtina Grimmie Hour. ICE later in the night will premiere Romeo Miller's Rap City Freestyles at 2am after Saturday Night Diamond Girls. ROD will air Sheila Carter and a Saturday night edition of Baywatch in late night.

Friday had a ton of shit going on just like this past Wednesday and last Friday in NITRO. The day was mainly centered around the top trending topic Bridget Satterlee who was heavy in the spotlight all day for work she done on NITRO programming and off of it like her temper tantrum in her boss's office and her vicious beatdown of Lillian Van Der Beek backstage at Paramount Hall which we haven't reported just yet. Bridget unveiled her music on Tahj & Arielle AM then held an hour long concert right outside of Paramount Hall in Yonge-Dundas Square in downtown Toronto. Bridget also made a guest starring appearance with Paris Jackson on Youth of Life in primetime. Her day will be most remembered for her how bad her temper got on Friday and her beatdown on Lillian Van Der Beek (#12) taking her frustration out on her for not being able to fight Vika Bronova (#7) who left town under the radar after her final appearance on Another World (#13) early Friday afternoon. Bridget also talked to Commissioner Rachael Leigh Cook (#11) who was in town today to investigate the Pheds about why she let Vika leave without fighting her. Bridget was so popular on Friday that even the outfit she wore which was a pair of slim fit light blue Jordache Jeans overalls was trending at #16 on Friday as retailers reported that the overalls sold out at all retailers who were selling them by Saturday morning.
Also trending was another violent incident that took place on Friday evening which was the brutal live television beatdown of Charlotte McKinney (#3) on Lucy Hale's (#8) signature diss show I Love Lucy Hale (#2) which is ROD's version of Molly in South Philly. For the second week in a row we saw a public beatdown of a NITRO star on that program and Charlotte McKinney was that victim for this week who was jumped for getting smart at the mouth with her boss Lucy Hale who was looking to send the rest of her roster a message about not stepping over the line with the level of disrespect that they have been giving to her during her first month as the head bitch in charge of the Southern California based studio.
DJ Becky which was the 14th highest trending topic of the day was led by Strawberry Shields (#4) and her sister Kay Shields (#6) continued to rank high as Kay's new sneakers the Supersonic Kay II trended at #15 as this is the third day in a row that her sneakers got into the top 20. Jordache Jeans stayed in the top 10 at #9. Friday night comedy Molly in South Philly (#10) had a new addition in Carmela Rose and was able to trend in the top 10 as well.
The series premiere of ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders trended in the top 5 at #5 on the dot as Alyssa Lynch (#17) trended higher than Megan May Williams on the show as Alyssa was probably higher because of her duty on Kelly Kapowski right after that which kept her trending for an addition hour.
The first ever Liam Spencer vs. Steffy Forrester battle actually got into the top 20 ranking in at #18 which is impressive as the soap fans are really into that battle as that battle combined for over 200 million viewers between NBC and ROD. Closing out the night was New Girls in Town Pageant which was lower than usual on the list at #18 and Maia Cotton who was the feature contestant on the auditions ranked at #20 on the list.

TAKE THIS MOTHAFUCKING L LIAM!
STEFFY CELEBRATE GIRL!
Liam been talking all of that shit and got his ass beat by Steffy.
CHARLOTTE YOU TAKE AN L TOO YOU GOT YOUR ASS BEAT!!
Don't fuck with Lucy Hale chump!
I think ICE right now got the #1 comedy block all of these comedies eat off of each other really well no weak links in there. DJ Becky is going to be a problem too.
I think ROD rock solid on Fridays in 2nd as well.

Just like in daytime it's another dominating victory for ICE as this TGIF comedy block is really strong for them they programmed it right and feature some heavy hitter guest stars to pull the ratings up even further.
I agree with Da Brother Blood Boxing as well about DJ Becky this comedy is gonna be a real problem for them and I think there's a window for them to jet them way ahead of Rachel at some point because Strawberry and Kay Shields star power continues to grow and DJ Becky will grow with it and Madison Beer will be starring in it soon with them. The big question for ICE is do they keep these Friday episodes of DJ Becky going?
ICE should keep DJ Becky with this Friday group of comedies I think that will accelerate the process of it getting to 200 million viewers before Rachel does and I would do it just for the rest of the fall, not the whole season.
Proxio really hit it in his analysis about ROD's schedule and Blood Boxing did too about ROD being rock solid on Fridays and that's because of the Miss Roderick Pageant as long as that show is in the lineup it's going to help everything out especially during the weeks when I Love Lucy Hale isn't so high. This was key to Steffy Forrester beating Liam Spencer this week. It's going to be an interesting battle the rest of the season though.
Both ROD and NBC need Maia Cotton badly as ROD really needs her more than NBC but there could be an opening to get Maia Cotton if ROD decides to draft Kaia Gerber. NBC should really target Thylane Blondeau who auditions later in the month since she's from Paris they need another local kid next to Pauline Hoarau who can get the locals fully behind NBC. ROD needs Kaia for that reason since she's from LA.
It's going to be a really tough competitive season on the New Girls in Town Beauty Pageant as I can't wait to see how these girls do all season.

I appreciate the really deep and depth analysis Big Prox!!
Starting next Friday our comedy block officially becomes TGIF but right now this lineup is fire as Jaime is growing quite a bit every week.
Big Prox might report on this later but we had a controversial scene in Young Girls on Friday where Kaylee Bryant's character Josie was playing with herself but Young Girls isn't for kids it's a teen/adult comedy. Parents of younger children are mad that the scene happened.
D. Stiles I might consider keeping DJ Becky there the rest of the fall even though New Girls in Town Pageant needs to be 3 hours long. We might start the first half-hour of the auditions over on Punky. We might need DJ Becky to air twice a week to grow it's audience so we can get to 200 million viewers before Rachel does as we're gaining on Rachel. Madison Hates NBC will premiere on Friday, November 2, 2018, so we'll have to see if Molly in South Philly airs that week or not so that's a possible week where DJ Becky only airs once.
If Maia Cotton hangs around long enough we might draft her as she might fall right into our laps. I remember from last draft we had a lot of girls that we expected to be drafted earlier fall into our laps and we reached on others. D. Stiles you're right overall though ROD needs the big stars in this draft I think this one will have a lot of options like this last one so it will be hard to go wrong. The Hadid sisters weren't bad picks probably could've waited longer in the draft for them like rounds 3 & 4. I was going to draft Bella Hadid had she been there in the 3rd or 4th round but I had a feeling ROD was going to take her after getting Gigi now neither one of them are at ROD right now.

Fridays are the one night because it's such a long night that I feel secure about because as you guys stated the Miss Roderick Pageant will have a built in audience to carry the night but The Stella Sisters is catching fire. The soaps are doing over a 100 million viewers now so we're set for 2nd place finishes.

ice's young comedy block of TGIF sitcoms is looking pretty scary especially if DJ Becky is a mainstay in that lineup that lineup with the pageant included looks unbeatable
i'm liking this battle between NBC and ROD right now these two are really going at it right now

ICE just announced recently that they will keep DJ Becky in that lineup for the rest of the fall pushing the NGIT Pageant to 10:30p instead.
ROD and NBC are battling pretty hard right now and you want to see that kind of spirit.
