BRIDGET SATTERLEE & MEGAN MAY WILLIAMS DRIVE UP THE RATINGS ON KELLY GREEN FRIDAY
ICE starts a new streak after NBC broke their weekday daytime win streak yesterday and they comeback with another huge day for the second time this week and this time it was thanks to two of their more popular Starlets Megan May Williams and Bridget Satterlee who both had a huge presence all over daytime on Friday.
BRIDGET SATTERLEE = RATINGS!
Starting with Bridget Satterlee who so far through this point of the season has been ICE's most powerful rookie as her presence as a music performer on Tahj & Arielle AM this morning bought the ratings up to to 60 million viewers and then later on she performed on Music Jam showcasing the new music that she's been working on the past couple of years with her band. Music Jam bought in 86.21 million viewers which through this point was the highest ratings that any weekday 5pm program got on any NITRO network this season so this was a series-high for Music Jam.
Bridget Satterlee was supposed to appear on the series premiere of ICE's newest game show ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders as she is a member on Megan's ICE Starlets team but due to her concert performance obligations, she had to skip this week as she's joining the team next Friday. Bella Hadid who will start working on the New Girls in Town Pageant next Friday was in there as her replacement this week. Even without Bridget the show still thrived to 93.44 million viewers officially making it the highest regular weekday daytime program in NITRO history after the Special ICE Meeting grabbed 103.60 million viewers back on Wednesday but since that was a special it was a different circumstance. ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders was a huge improvement from the struggling Friday Night Family Game Night that occupied that timeslot before but that game show has now moved to the new ICE sister network Punky.
ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders according to ICE sources, is a new game show where a select group of ICE Starlets led by Megan May Williams and Kelly Kapowski star Alyssa Lynch take on different cheerleading teams either on a pro-level in the WFL, high school, or college level and they try to beat each other in a best of 3 matchup series.
ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders was made as a replacement project for Team ICE now that the season is getting delayed until later in the winter season due to obligations for the ICE Starlets in the WFL during the fall but it was also picked up because the network did not opt to put "Battle of the Sexes" back together which was one of the original ICE game shows from back in the first year of NITRO Television.
Long-time ICE Game Show Coordinator Charles Neely says he made the show because he noticed that there seems to be a real-life rivalry between the Starlets and the cheerleaders whether it be at the high school or the WFL Players and the WFL Cheerleaders and thought it'd be fun to put them in a competition on live TV to see how it all goes down.
ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders will pin two teams against each other with the first team being a group of Starlets that will be led by Megan May Williams and Alyssa Lynch and then the second team being a group of cheerleaders who will try their best to defeat the Starlets in a best of 3 series. Each week will be a single game in a series so for example this week will be the first game and then next week the second game. Whichever team wins at least 2 games will be the winner so each series can last anywhere from 2-3 weeks.
We will see a different group of cheerleaders and these series counts for the cheerleaders to have an opportunity to comeback for the end of the season tournament to determine who wins the ultimate prize of winning between the Starlets and the Cheerleaders. Cheerleaders who comeback for the tournament will be determined by points they gain during the games as the teams with the most points will comeback later in the season for the tournament. The different groups of cheerleaders will be a mix between high school, college, and professional WFL cheerleaders.
First up will be the Toronto Icegals Cheerleading Squad as their girls will participate to try and win a spot in the tournament then after them, it will be the East York High School Cheerleading Squad so the first two teams will be close to home rivals for the Starlets and they know the girls from these teams very well.
Both teams will compete in a series of random games that are separated by trivia games, casino games, traditional game show games, and physical events with some of them being tied to sports.
Since Megan May Williams and Alyssa Lynch are captains they're both responsible for picking the best ICE Starlets possible to make sure they get these wins over these cheerleading squads. Both teams are playing for money as the Starlets are raising money for at-risk youths in Lizzie's jurisdictions and the Cheerleaders are raising money for themselves since they aren't paid that well to do their jobs.
Here is how the ICE Starlets team will be for the premiere episode on Friday.
ICE STARLETS vs. CHEERLEADERS Hosts: Odessa Adlon, Damon Wayans, Jr. (F) F - Toronto Icegals Cheerleading Squad | Best of 3
ICE Starlets Megan May Williams (Captain) Alyssa Lynch (Asst. Captain) Madison Beer Kendall Jenner Bella Hadid (temporary replacement/Bridget Satterlee returns 10/12/18) Kara Del Toro Ivy Herbert Nancy Nery Janet Moore Jelena Mariucci Kendall Vertes Audreyana Williams Emma Fuhrmann Margarita Zalejska Alina Kirchiu Mariana Phillips
Based on these ratings ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders is going to be a major problem on Fridays for the competing networks as that series premiere performance really helped it boost Kelly Kapowski to a series-high 91 million viewers behind it at 7pm.
Earlier in the day for ICE it was a big day for their soap block as Vika Bronova wrapped her final scenes live for Another World before she left for NBC at 2pm as AW reached a series-high 52.15 million viewers so it will be interesting to see how Another World performs without Vika.
Strawberry Shields led Staying Alive to its second best ratings of all-time getting 63 million viewers on the show's third Cliffhanger Friday.
Olivia Cooke (ICE)

NBC EDGES ROD AS JACQUELINE MACINESS WOOD IS IN TROUBLE
NBC is starting to trend upwards in daytime ever since Jethro Grantham tookover as Daytime President as NBC beat ROD for the 2nd day in a row. ROD is trending downwards which is not good here.
NBC had a down day from yesterday but they were still able to average as a network 19.43 million viewers to ROD's 19.12 million viewers on Friday so it was a close battle.
The differences was mainly the improved NBC soaps led by The House That Love Built which has been surging these last couple of episodes since Barbara Shields guest story-arc started yesterday. Barbara Shields grabbed 28.90 million viewers just killing Guiding Light in that 10am hour. The Janit O'Day Franchise repeats being installed at 11am has really helped them as well as Kelly's Thugs hung in there for Sex, Lies, and The Southern Belle which almost beat Fashion House for the first time.
ROD's strength is with Caitlin Stasey's morning talker at 7am which seems to be their strongest performer right now and then later on their midday soaps Ain't No Mountain High Enough and LA Passions leading into Tracy Kimmell which grabbed 27 million viewers.
Where NBC cleaned up this was was in the afternoon hours starting with a WFL repeat of the opening week game classic between the Detroit Fury and Boston Hoods which got 25.48 million viewers that helped Ouija top Freddy vs. Jason. It seems like Ouija might've gotten the unexpected victory because Ouija had ICE stars Shelley Hennig and Olivia Cooke in it. Freddy vs. Jason was a huge improvement from Child's Play 2 the day before though.
Terri Shields wrapped things up at 7pm very well for NBC so things are getting scary for Sunset Beach now that its Cliffhanger Friday episodes have to face ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders now in that 6pm slot and pretty soon The Music Box Killer which will star recently departed Another World star Vika Bronova in just another couple of weeks.
Tonight, we've got a full plate of action on another really busy Kelly Green Friday night starting with the three-way battle between Molly in South Philly which will have Carmela Rose's debut in it and Madison Beer as guest star, I Love Lucy Hale, and The YouTube Life. Then after that Anna Kendrick's newly revived variety show makes it premiere at 9pm against the stacked combo of ICE comedy hits Young Girls and Youth of Life which will have Bridget Satterlee as a guest star along with ROD's Miss Roderick Pageant. DJ Becky will air its second episode in a special timeslot leading into New Girls in Town Pageant heads down under to Sydney, Australia where Junior Beauty finalist Maia Cotton has her big audition. We also have the big war between Liam Spencer on NBC against Steffy Forrester on ROD which should be huge to see who wins this one as Jacqueline MacInnes Wood and Scott Clifton have been both running their mouths and now it's time to put or shut up for the both of them. As they say HOLD THIS L to whomever the lose is in this battle. Later in the night we have Who Wanted Nichole Dead wrapping up the wild and crazy Friday. TOP 3 PROGRAMS IN THE SPOTLIGHT TONIGHT
1. The Anna Kendrick Variety Hour - FRI @ 9:00 PM (NBC)
2. Youth of Life - FRI @ 9:30 PM (ICE)
3. Liam Spencer - FRI @ 10:00 PM (NBC)

Rachael Leigh Cook (NITRO Officials)Rachael Leigh Cook attends ICE's live comedy tapings event at Paramount Hall in Toronto, Ontario on Friday October 5, 2018.TORONTO, ONTARIO - OCTOBER 5: NITRO Commissioner Rachael Leigh Cook celebrated her 39th birthday in Paris yesterday enjoying herself with the NBC brass and getting a chance to get away from her usual day-to-day duties as the NITRO Commissioner. NBC Owners threw the 2nd main NITRO Official behind Superintendent Bridget Moynahan a birthday party after the live tapings event ended as they gave her a personal invite to come out to Paris on the house. Commissioner Cook says it was one of the best birthdays of her life as she felt like it could've easily been a celebration for her 40th birthday which she will celebrate next year.
Commissioner Cook unfortunately knew that once the fun and games were over it was back to business as she had to travel back to North America and visit the Pheds in Toronto on Friday. The experience for her would be a huge 180 as Commissioner Cook is visiting a studio she obviously hates and with the stories coming out of Toronto this year have been mostly depressing especially on Fridays where the studio celebrates their Kelly Green Fridays theme every week throughout the fall season.
Commissioner Cook is in Toronto not to celebrate with the studio she is there on business and to investigate any of the wrongdoings that have out of the Phederation to start this new season. Commissioner Cook let ICE CEO Paige Van Buren last Saturday after raging on the phone with her that she was coming to visit today to investigate her studio up close. She's also there to investigate ICE Starlets two main leaders Rachel Bilson and Mischa Barton who have both been accused of accepting money under the table to not do their jobs from ICE Starlets that they're supposed to be leading this season and they've also been involved in a money laundering scandal the past few years.
Although The Icon Company & Entertainment Phederation (ICE) is NITRO's biggest studio with a roster of nearly 24,000 people which includes 13,000 entertainers & models (500+ active actors) along with 11,000 staff employees it's also their most troubled studio as well as a lot of crime circulates through that studio on a daily basis and NITRO can't get a handle on it at this point in-time due to how large the studio is right now.
The studio holding its residence at a local public Toronto high school called East York Secondary Academy makes it even more challenging as well. This is no ordinary public high school it's the largest high school in the Americas whether you're talking about North or South America it doesn't matter it's the largest high school with a student base of more than 14,000 students enrolled during this current school year. On an average day there could be literally around 25,000 people on the school campus at anytime on a school day so it's a very overcrowding public facility. It's just a very chaotic situation everyday and that can make it really hard to investigate things.
Commissioner Cook has not visited ICE since the opening day of training camp so she hasn't been there this season when ICE is working on a school day like she is going to do on Friday.
Commissioner Cook says because of how chaotic things are on Fridays at East York she will return the following Friday to continue her investigation but she's also there to see why there was so many problems backstage at Paramount Hall last week during the previous Kelly Green Friday comedy tapings. CEO Paige Van Buren wants the entire studio to be on their best behavior while Commissioner Cook is investigating with her team as Paige, Kya Summers, and Kyla Ray will all have a private meeting with her along with the present owners as well. Rachel Bilson and Mischa Barton are expected to be interviewed by Commissioner Cook today as well and we'll give you guys an update on how that goes later today.

Bridget Satterlee (ICE)
Bridget Satterlee arrives at work on a busy day at East York Secondary Academy in Toronto, Ontario on Friday October 5, 2018.
TORONTO, ONTARIO - OCTOBER 5, 2018: ICE Starlets rookie Bridget Satterlee has proven to be a badass problem child getting into trouble after her run during the first season of New Girls in Town Pageant a few years ago. That troubling behavior has bled into her first full month of her NITRO career especially lately as she has hung around Megan May Williams causing trouble at the studio's high school East York Secondary Academy. Bridget is one of the many reasons why NITRO Commissioner Rachael Leigh Cook is visiting the Pheds today to investigate their criminal activity.
Bridget Satterlee has gotten into it with recently departing ICE Starlet Vika Bronova who's moving to Paris this weekend to become an NBC Hottie after the two studios agreed on a trade involving her services to switch studios. These two are also two of the top 3 ICE Starlets rookies during the first month of the season. Both girls have been getting into it since training camp and that intensity heated up during the WFL season opener in Milwaukee between Vika's team at that time the Quebec Nordiques and Bridget's team the Milwaukee Millers. Both girls got into a fight during that game and that bled over into the next day when the two girls got back to Toronto as we saw them live on TV getting into it on the popular morning talk radio show Tahj & Arielle AM. It was anticipated that the two were going to fight each other later that day but it never happened.
The two have been jawing back-and-forth constantly everyday on social media with both girl's fanbases going after each other. Since everybody knew that Friday would be Vika Bronova's last day at the Phederation it was anticipated that her and Bridget were finally going to settle their beef before she departed for Norwood but an audible was made by Commissioner Cook to bring both Vika Bronova and Dasha Dereviankina to safety to their new studios since both girls were in danger of not going to their new studios in one piece. Dasha had gotten into it with her ex-teammates on the Vancouver Grizzlies during a WFL game this past Sunday evening knocked where Alina Kirchiu out live on the sidelines. Commissioner Cook promised NBC's Jessica Lowndes and ROD's Lucy Hale that their new toys would come home to their new studios not getting into a fight.
Earlier in the week Lillian Van Der Beek overheard plans from the Starlets that they were about to jump Vika and Dasha before they left the studio on Friday and it was going to be gruesome so we knew this wasn't going to be a 1-on-1 fight type situation.
None of the ICE Starlets who were planning on attacking Vika and Dasha were aware that both girls were going to leave town scot free so when Bridget came into work today she heard about Vika leaving earlier than expected as Bridget was planning on fighting her after the comedy tapings tonight backstage at Paramount Hall. Bridget was ready to go too as she had been looking forward to this day for almost two whole weeks now as she had her new Jordache Jeans slim fit overalls on looking like she was ready do some work on Vika's face tonight. LOL!
Bridget Satterlee had a busy day in front of her as she had to wake up a little earlier to get ready for her music performance on Tahj & Arielle AM this morning then she had WFL practice with her team right after that then she used the afternoon to get ready for her Friday afternoon concert on Music Jam as she was going to be able to showcase most of the music that she had been working on these past few years to a live audience. Bridget had a guest star appearance with Paris Jackson on Youth of Life later tonight. Bridget was supposed to be on the series premiere of ICE's newest game show ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders joining Megan May Williams' team but because of her concert obligations she had to be replaced this week and will join the team next Friday.
Bridget ended up finding out after her Music Jam concert performance that Vika had already left town catching a flight at Pearson International Airport to New Brunswick to meet with her new team the Paris Bulldogs. Bridget was crushed when she found out about the news from one of her band members. Bridget was performing her concert outside of Paramount Hall at Yonge Dundas Square so after she found off the news she was super disappointed and very enraged. She wanted to go back to East York Secondary Academy and talk to her bosses about Vika leaving earlier so she and a couple of members from her band took the bus with her back to East York.
The executive suites were going to remain open until around 7pm or 7:30pm until her bosses started heading over to Paramount Hall for tonight's live comedy tapings so Bridget had plenty of time to talk to either Paige Van Buren, Kya Summers, Kyla Ray, AnnaLynne McCord, or Jessica Stroup about the situation.
Bridget ended up getting there in time and she was enraged like nobody had ever seen Bridget that mad before she was snapping as her temper was out of control. AnnaLynne McCord told her that Commissioner Cook was the one who made that decision so Bridget wanted to go confront her but she was a little too late as Commissioner Cook was heading over to Paramount Hall by that time so Bridget was mad because she felt like she wasted a trip back the other way.
Bridget after hearing the news grabbed a metal stick and start swinging things and breaking them and she even broke a glass and that's when Jessica Stroup stepped into wrestle her down and stop her. Paige wanted to send her home and audible their plans to have her guest star on Youth of Life tonight but Jessica stepped over her and said that would not be a good idea because it would get in the media that Bridget was sent home for a bad reason. Jessica told Bridget to cool off and get back to Paramount Hall by 8:30pm an hour before Youth of Life starts taping and clear her mind before then. Bridget's bandmates would take over after that and they care of Bridget. Bridget's temper tantrum was downright scary and that clearly is a sign that she hasn't changed that much.
It was an ugly scene but Bridget still wants to have a talk with Commissioner Cook later tonight after the tapings for why she helped Vika leave town like that but there is good news for Bridget the two will still meet each other later in the season on the football field in the WFL so Bridget can try to fight her then.
We'll update you guys later on how Bridget's meeting goes with Commissioner Cook that's if Bridget is able to talk to her alone.

Holey Smackros!
Checkout the ratings for ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders I didn't expect it to do that well as those were primetime type numbers right there. This is a huge improvement from Friday Night Family Game Night. One thing that I've noticed from ICE whenever they struggle they correct those timeslots quickly as they did with AM North America last season when they turned that into Sarah & Jesse AM now Tahj & Arielle AM this season. Maybe they'll improve from Star 80s ratings next month when We've Got Each Other comes in.
I think ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders was a no brainer success because you've got popular actresses from ICE going against cheerleading squads that was an automatic success. This is going to be a problem for Sunset Beach and The Music Box Killer on Fridays.
Bridget Satterlee spiked the ratings up today as her Music Jam concert did huge numbers.
NBC and ROD are really duking it out right now but NBC has improved a ton though they are literally competing at a high-level right now.
Ouija beating Freddy vs. Jason was a nice surprise but Freddy vs. Jason still did really well for ROD though compared to Chucky this week.

ICE Starlets vs Cheerleaders was impressive just killed it almost a 100 million viewers for its premiere is sick. I wonder how this would've done if this aired in primetime because I could see this finishing in first in timeslot if the competition wasn't too overpowering.
Kelly Kapowski has been doing well enough to air in primetime as well as I originally thought after ICE cancelled The Adult Years that they were going to move Kelly Kapowski in its place but they ended up ordering Laverne & Shirley to series which is looking like a smart move.
Bridget Satterlee equals ratings but she's a troubled girl she's got some demons that she's heavy to battle right now as I know Vika leaving without getting beaten up probably destroyed her as she snapped. Bridget will learn quickly though that Commissioner Cook hates ICE that much and she's not there to look out for them.
ROD is in trouble in daytime as NBC really has figured it out on them and it's not going to be good if they start coming in third place regularly.

I definitely wanted to fix Friday Night Family Game Night as I didn't want that to continue to effect Kelly Kapowski's ratings as NBC is getting stronger in the later afternoons now so I didn't want to have anything there that wasn't way out ahead. I knew "ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders" would be a no brainer in getting automatic huge numbers. Bridget Satterlee's concert setup really well in front of it which was key to lifting everything but I'm hoping it holds at least above 70 million viewers next week.

ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders is about to be a problem for Sunset Beach and that's scary because we gotta deal with The Music Box Killer and cliffhanger Fridays are so important for soaps too.
The good news is that both of the talk shows Bullshit Mornings and Tracy Kimmell are doing pretty well for us right now both getting almost 30 million viewers.
Freddy vs. Jason did pretty well but Ouija did better because of the lead-in.
I'm honestly not panicking even though NBC is about to overtake us for 2nd place just gotta be patient and not make any rational decisions. I wanna take my time like ICE does and come up with a soap that can produce 30-40 million viewers. I talked with Proxio about my new daytime struggles against NBC and it's got a lot to do with the lack of star power in these programs and it's mainly because we got the weakest core of rookies in NITRO this season so we gotta draft way better and get more stars like if you look at ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders or anything Bridget Satterlee was in they were killing it because of these young girls on their roster. That's why drafting good is important and I believe The Music Box Killer is mainly going to do well because of Vika Bronova. I am interested to see Another World without Vika Bronova it should be interesting.

there's just some days where ICE is untouchable in daytime and I applaud their management for continuing to want to improve and not just stand pat
ICE Starlets versus Cheerleaders looks like the most dominant weekday series we've seen to-date here
NBC has really turned things around as it looks like they're actually trying to compete now
i like ROD's strategy they don't seem to be panicking just yet it looks like they're just going to let NBC make their moves and act on them later

Yeah, I agree with you Beermoney about ICE the key to them staying ahead is continuing to move forward and improve wherever they can improve.
That's true about ROD they shouldn't just be making moves because NBC is starting to fly ahead of them they need to worry about their own network and improve when it's time. The problem for ROD as it's been discussed many times before about them is that they just don't have the roster that the other two networks have to really lift the ratings to another level that's why this draft next summer is really important for them.

ROD needs to steal Kevin Smart away from NBC that will improve the way they draft big-time and maybe get a new General Manager as well to come with him. Lucy Hale needs all the help that she can get right now.

ICE is right they are at the top so they gotta set the tone and for us getting Kevin Smart is huge and we're going to change General Managers we'll probably announce a new GM before this season ends at some point.
