Primary ICE Phederation Logo (June 4, 2012-November 4, 2013) ICE BRINGS IN NEW LOGOS FOR THE PROBLEM CHILD ERA
ICE brings in their newest generation of logos for a new era as the studio has new bosses this season with Paige Van Buren, Kyla Ray, and now Kya Summers in charge of the studio so it was time for a new change. In our newest Image Campaign, we will be keeping the "Don't Turn Away" or "Turn On ICE Today" themes that we've been rolling with since 2013 as a command to let the viewers not to change the channel and if they're on a different NITRO channel then turn to ICE today.
These new logos represent a new era but they were made to have a much cleaner look for ICE to represent the future of the studio. ICE is hoping that these newest logos are going to be unchanged for a long-time but there's no guarantee that they won't change in the next 2-3 years. The 3rd generation of ICE logos is the longest used version of our logos as it was used for two seasons over a span of four years from 2012-16 we're looking to break that record with this newest 5th generation of ICE logos. The biggest evolution in these logos outside of their sleeker design is actually the technology behind the logos as they're technologically advanced and the first of their kind.
All of the ICE logos have been designed by actors Keanu Reeves and Emma Watson together since 2009 who has been designing them ever since. They work with a team of inspiring graphic design artists but they're the ones who actually work together to come up with the original and final designs and they've been making ever since this day. Their relationship started off as a joke as they were making fun of the UPN logo and when they redesigned it they caught Pat Devine's eye and he took it seriously and wanted to hire them on a permanent basis to make their first ever ICE logo for the 2009-10 television season. They have been making these logos with their teams ever since.
Pat Devine came to them earlier this summer to make the newest logo as Pat was going to make it technologically advanced so he wanted something simpler.
Now we're going to discuss the details behind the creation of the logo starting off with the lettermark version of the primary logo.
5TH GENERATION ICE LOGOSPrimary ICE Lettermark Logo (October 3, 2018-Present)
In our new primary lettermark logos for this fifth generation of ICE, we've made many changes as we've changed our font for the typeface to a more skinnier design than we've been using in the past which had a more wider look to them. This design is slimmer and we have kept the initials for the Icon Company & Entertainment Paramount Property (ICE) capitalized as well which is something we changed to in our fourth generation of logos as we had a lower case look for the third generation of logos. The letters are very simple in their look but there was an added special feature design to the letter 'E' in the logo as you can see the E has a cut-through in the top portion half of the letter well there's a reason for that and it's because it has two meanings to it. The first meaning behind it is a symbolism of ICE young talent in their studio not being perfect and making mistakes the cut represents not being perfect and leaving room to grow and connect with the other part of the 'E' and the other meaning is being a "cut above the rest" as ICE has finished as NITRO's most watched network inside every season of the first decade of NITRO TV. A cut above the rest was being considered as the network's newest slogan but we decided to keep "Don't Turn Away" and "Turn On ICE Today" for the time being.
Speaking of slogans in the logo we feature the "Don't Turn Away" slogan beneath the ICE letters as we sized it up to keep the entire slogan within the same width of the letters going from I to E and the slogan is colored in our studio's two main colors Paige Blue and Kelly Green with the words don't and away colored in Paige Blue and the word Turn in the middle in Kelly Green. The other letters in this font have a lot of character to them as you can see in the design. Just like the 'E' in the logo, there's a cut in a few of the letters to signify the growth of our young roster and young executive team and being a cut above the rest of the NITRO networks these past 9 years.
The last feature of the lettermark logo is the signature ICE Star Logo which has been redesigned completely and we'll go over that next. In the new star logo, we have the 'ICE' lettermark that you see in this new primary logo now inserted into the very middle of the star of the most inner star. Also, another feature is that star is not back on top of the letter 'I' in the logo although this I is capitalized we still visualize it like the dot on top of the lower cased 'i' like we have in our third generation lettermark logo. We typically feature the star on the left side of the lettermark part of the logo turning it into combination logo but the star itself is apart of the 'I' but this time we wanted to keep it on top of the ICE and keep it smaller. Keanu Reeves revealed to us that this is the biggest change to the previous logos is making sure that the star was kept on top of the ICE initials as this was also a struggle in past ICE logos where the star didn't look right at times on top of the I but Keanu's team finally got it right this time around.
5TH GENERATION ICE LOGOSBlack Friday Alternate ICE Lettermark Logo (November 23, 2018-Present)
This logo here is the official "Black Friday" Alternate ICE Logo also known as the Aurora Green Glow in the Dark ICE Logo. This is a brand new theme to the ICE logos. This logo features three new secondary ICE colors with the first one being Moonlight Silver which will be ICE's new third color completing the trio of official ICE colors and this Moonlight Silver will be introduced officially this November. Then we have Aurora Green which is a Forest Green version of Kelly Green and last is Lake Ontario Blue which is a darker version of Paige Blue main ICE color. These three new colors will represent the color scheme for the Black Friday event and logo.
The lettermark and design of this logo are the same as the primary logo with the only changes being the colors themselves. The background is in black to represent Black Friday which is an upcoming special ICE event this November. The initials 'ICE' is now in Moonlight Silver and underneath the lettermark of the logo is now the slogan "Turn On ICE Today" with the world turn on today all in Aurora Green and the word ICE is Lake Ontario Blue in its main color of blue. Then the star logo above the 'I' is in Aurora Green as well.
This logo now pops with the black background and in some lights, it glows in the dark which is the feature we're aiming for here with this new Black Friday logo.
The Aurora Green Glow in the Dark ICE Logo will debut on Friday, November 23, 2018, for our first ever ICE Black Friday event which will take over for Kelly Green Friday that week. We will have more info on this event at a later date but this version of the logo will be activated for full use that day.
5TH GENERATION ICE LOGOSNew Primary ICE's Wide World of Sports Combination Logo (October 7, 2018-Present) New Primary ICE's Wide World of Sports Combination Logo (October 7, 2018-Present) The new ICE Sports logo banners seen the day before a Quebec Nordiques game on Saturday September 29, 2018.
ICE's sports division known as ICE's Wide World of Sports has also taken on the vision from the new logo as a new combination logo has been presented for ICE Sports. The new logo will combine the same exact new lettermark 'ICE' logo and a new wordmark logo for the 'Sports' portion of the logo where Sports is position right beneath ICE as the new Sports wordmark logo is using the same typeface font as the new ICE lettermark logo with a line going through the 'P' the word sports.
You can see this new logo plastered over all ICE sports programming starting this weekend with WFL coverage although fans were able to see it in use starting this past weekend during WFL games and if you were at the games you saw the new ICE Sports banners all over the stadiums on the sidelines that will continue officially during the games being played on Sunday as you will see the new logo plastered all over the stadium both on the inside and outside of the stadiums when you first walk on the campus of the building. The new ICE Star Logos will be shown next to it too and the new ICE Starlets Logo as well to represent the various Starlets in the league playing in these games.
The cities that can see these logos this Sunday will be Air Canada Park in Norwood, TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, NRG Stadium in Houston, Miller Park in Milwaukee, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Down in Houston and Atlanta you guys will be able to see the new Punky streaming network logo at those games since those games are airing on the new Punky network this weekend as well.
This new logo will also be seen on any ICE's Wide World of Sports anthology broadcasts starting this Wednesday when ICE's Wide World of Sports premieres on Punky and during Women's Sports Club on ICE in the same timeslot and day at 6pm.
A brand new graphics package will be seen with this logo rebrand for ICE Sports that will come with a new scorebug and other features seen on a ICE Sports broadcast. Expect a new theme song and intro to be played over broadcasts starting this Sunday as well starting with the early WFL games at noon.
Now onto the ICE Star Logo which is acts as both a primary logo when it's apart of our lettermark logo and a secondary logo when it's by itself is also known as the emblem or abstract logo or non-lettermark logo. This logo gives people a chance to see the new star design that sits on top of the lower case letter 'i' up close and personal so a zoomed look at the details of the new star logo.
The ICE Star Emblem Logo features a really clean professional design that consists of a big star with an inner star inside of it. The inner star which represents the heart of the ICE Starlets has the new ICE lettermark label dead in the middle of the star. The lettermark doesn't feature a star on top like it does in the regular lettermark logos as this 'I' is seen as more of a capitalized version of the letter. On the outside of the main big star, we have five mini-stars that sit on the outside of each of the five corners.
All five of those stars represent two different things as the first one symbolizes the first five CEOs in ICE history in Patrick Devine, Jessica Lowndes, Paige Van Buren, Kyla Ray, and Kya Summers. The second one symbolizes the first five seasons in ICE history from the 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 reboot season, 2013-14, and 2018-19 seasons. In the future, we will see the names of the CEOs in each star in a future released alternate logo and we'll see all five seasons inside of the stars in another future alternate logo as well.
In the first ICE Star Logo is in the Paige Blue background and all seven of the stars are in white and it's the same case with the Kelly Green background logo. The last logo is the alternate version of the Dark ICE Logo and this one is a little different because not all of the stars are the same color. The big main star is in Moonlight Silver while the inner star is in Aurora Green along with the five outer stars as well so really only the big main star is in silver to contrast between the dark background and green stars on the inside and outside of it.
5TH GENERATION ICE LOGOSNew ICE Starlets Mascot Logo (October 3, 2018-Present)
For the first time since 2012, the ICE Starlets Logo will now be updated to be associated with the new brand of 5th Generation of ICE Logos.
The new Starlets Logo brings in a new mascot logo as well which will be used on a lot of ICE Starlets merchandise going forward including the new sets of Team ICE uniforms coming out this winter.
A lot of people would think the original ICE Starlets Logo was perfect the way it was but the main reason why it changed is that the logo showed a silhouetted female that looked too much like a stripper with the pole going the middle of the logo and although that was a sharp look that's not something that the Starlets identify themselves with as it's too closely tied to ROD's stripper scene. This was something that Jessica Lowndes wanted to change some years ago after she became CEO in 2012 which was only a few months after that logo first came out as Jessica was very opposed to that logo but it stuck because the wordmark design was classy and perfect. The only thing that needed to be taken out was the silhouette design figure at the top of the logo.
A lot of people didn't know this but the new logo has been in the works since 2013 but because NITRO took a break the design was never changed but had there been a 2014-15 season this logo would've come out in the fall of 2014. Now the exact look of the logo is not exactly the way it was going to be designed as Emma Watson drew up the figure. It was redesigned before this season started to be closely associated with Paige Van Buren's new generation of logos.
The logo has the new lettermark design of the new ICE logo with Starlets using the same typeface font in pink and it's hanging on the right of the girl.
Before this ICE had been using a figurine known as Lucy Green Eyes as it was designed after Lucy Hale who used to work for ICE before moving onto ROD to become their newest CEO. Lucy Hale was also supposed to have been used in the new Starlets logo as a drawing when she rocked shorter hair. The model that was used in this new Starlets logo was the original owner of The Icon Company Arnie Bailey's daughter named Sarra Bailey. After Pat had bought The Icon Company he allowed Sarra to hang around the studio a lot back in those days so when Sarra was a little kid, Pat said that she had a strong influence on incorporating the Starlets name and culture when she used to hang around the studio all the time. Pat wanted to honor Sarra and make her an honorary member of the ICE Starlets and use a drawing of her face for the new logo.
Sarra sat in for the drawing a couple of weeks ago and the logo was made after that and ICE wants her face to be used on a lot of different things going forward. Sarra still hangs around the studio every week but takes no part in actively having an actual position in NITRO or ICE itself as she's focused on a different career choice.
As mentioned before as well whatever event that the ICE Starlets are attending this logo will be plastered and seen by the people who attend the event such as sporting events and stuff like that going forward.
5TH GENERATION ICE LOGOSNew Paige Blue Promo Graphic (October 3, 2018-Present) New Kelly Green Promo Graphic (October 5, 2018-Present)
We now present the official graphic promos for the new branding of ICE as we now have a cleaner modified promo graphic which will be in both Paige Blue and Kelly Green based on where the shows are scheduled in the lineup. Programs that air between Saturday-Thursday will be in Paige Blue and programs that air on Fridays will be in Kelly Green.
The design of the new promo graphics will feature 3 different layers starting with the top featuring the title card where the title of the program is featured and a new feature in the ICE promos will let you know what type of series is as you see above with ICE's two newest programs this week that will show you that they're new and what genre they represent like comedy or game show.
In the second layer, we have the new ICE Star Logos featured on the left side and on the right side an ID photo of the show's stars as you see in the DJ Becky promo we have an ID photo of Strawberry Shields featured and in the ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders promo, we have an ID photo of Megan May Williams featured.
In the third or bottom layer, we have the time and date featured for the program to let you know when these shows are airing on the network. On the top we indicate if the show is a series or season premiere, new episode, or whatever and on the bottom the full date and time only in NITRO time which uses the Eastern Standard Time Zone (EST) only.
Each layer is stacked on top of each other giving it a look that each layer is shadowed and the overall glossing uses a glass look over the entire promo graphic as well to give it a shiny appeal and finish.
You can start seeing these promos right away on wherever advertisement space has been bought.
NITRO Officials have notified ICE that they may start using a similar design with the stacked layers for their new IDs after the next big NITRO trade.
ICE'S NEW LOGOS ARE TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED
The new logo package is set to officially debut this Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018 to coincide with the big DJ Becky series premiere. Viewers will be able to see the logo during WFL games this Sunday afternoon but it won't be activated full-time until Wednesday according to ICE sources.
The cool thing about this logo on the television set is that the logo is actually fully interactive as viewers can use their mobile devices or tablets and scan the logo to open up the new streaming service allowing viewers to rewatch the program their watching from the beginning and pull up information on the episode and info on the actors in the program. This is also really cool viewers can scan to have access to the many different live cameras so you can see things from different angles since most ICE programs use multiple cameras so you can point the camera wherever you want and zoom. There will be multiple seats throughout Paramount Hall or whatever venue that ICE is taping programs from where a cam will be used to allow viewers to get a virtual look from different angles to feel like they're actually at the event. The same feature will be used during WFL games this weekend as well. Backstage passes during live events are also accessible as well.
Full info like stats and profiles on the actors, personalities, athletes, or contestants on the screen will be access as well.
Also, when the logo when being scanned will allow viewers to purchase bets with FIAT money or cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, Ethereum, or whatever other coins out there in the digital space during sporting events and draft competitions. The interactive features for betting are going to be available this Sunday and the streaming service features later this winter but the live events will be available on Wednesday with Tahj & Arielle AM, It's High Noon with Pyper America, Love in the Afternoon Live, all of the ICE Love in the Afternoon soaps, Amber Montana Showcase, and live comedy tapings on Wednesday night.
Another cool feature as well is that the feature can be used to shop the looks that the stars are wearing on the screen as long as it's an item that ICE is apart of selling so if the stars are wearing Jordache Jeans then they shop for those exact pairs of jeans by using their device to scan the logo to shop the look. This includes sneakers as well like the newest Nike Supersonic Kays that just came out in stores today you can buy a pair on the screen. On the new Jordache Jeans Shopping Network, you will also be able to use the logo or the QR Code by scanning it to purchase items on the screen as well right from your device.
If the show is available on DVD, Blu-Ray, or streaming you can also get access to purchasing those episodes or movies that you're watching or buying tickets to future events as well.
ICE is also releasing a service within the new Punky Streaming Service where viewers can use their streaming service whether they have cable or not to DVR and rewatch their favorite shows by also scanning the code and organizing their DVR library through that feature as well. Viewers can also start to change the video quality of the show where you can use the old SDTV 480p format all the way up through 4K if that format is available using Supervision. ICE says they're working on putting their programs in 8K as well. Also, other features like closed captioning or enabling subtitles. Since NITRO is global programs can be dubbed in at least more than 10 different languages based on your location. Live shows will not be dubbed though only pre-taped shows.
So as you can see there will be a multitude of things that you will be able to do with this technologically advanced feature in the new ICE logos which are the first of its kind.
INTRODUCING PUNKY
PUNKY STREAMING NETWORK LOGO
New Punky Primary Combination Logo (October 3, 2018-Present)
PUNKY STREAMING SERVICE LAUNCHES
Streaming is the future and ICE is getting ready for it.
Punky (Penelope "Punky" Brewster Streaming Service) is a NITRO based over-the-top video on demand streaming service owned and operated by the Television and Streaming division of The ICE Phederation and its television network ICE, a subsidiary of Icon Company & Entertainment Paramount Property. Punky was named after the popular iconic 1980s sitcom "Punky Brewster" which starred Soleil Moon Frye as a bright young girl who was abandoned by her mother at a Chicago shopping center and was taken in and later adopted by an older man who took her in after he discovered her sleeping there as a homeless child. Punky is a favorite all-time sitcom of Pat Devine's because it reminded him of the many girls over the past 10 years that his studio saved from a life on the streets and he thinks Punky represents that dream of a young child being loved by a stranger after suffering from childhood mostly without a parent to raise them.
When referring to the streaming network a lot of people will call it either just Punky or Punky Power. Punky Power is also the name of the Premium Plus Subscription Plan for the streaming service.
The service launched a preview version of the streaming app on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, with limited features and a limited library of programs. A full rollout and official launch of the entire streaming service will be launched on Sunday, February 3, 2019. After the official launch, it will be divided into both a free ad-supported version with limited content and features which will be available to all and a premium subscription version that will be available at a price tag of $7.99 with full features and the entire library available on the service. The goal of the service was to be available to anybody without paying for it and if a customer wants more features and more programs or movies then they are welcomed to pay for it. The free version offers a ton but it does have ads whereas the premium version will not have ads at all.
The service primarily features content from ICE's media rights partners such as Paramount, Warner Bros., Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), and other third-party content providers, including television series, films, news, and sports programming. The service is available in a free ad-supported version with limited content, while premium tiers include a larger content library and access to additional ICE's Wide World of Sports content, as well as the Women's Football League (WFL), Battle of the Network Stars, Team ICE, Athletic Games, and the NITRO Music Competition beginning in March 2019.
Early availability for customers began on October 3, 2018, with NITRO Television viewers receiving the preview internationally. The full version releases on February 3, 2019, to all eligible NITRO Television viewers. It's expected that at least 20-40% of the NITRO viewing base will subscribe to the premium service by either the full launch date in February or by the end of the season on Sunday, July 7, 2019.
Distribution
Punky has three tiers of service: Free, Premium, and Premium Plus or Punky Power. The Free tier has a subset of the content of the upper two tiers and targets its users with advertising. The middle tier, Punky Premium, has the advertising as well but provides the full library of content and other locked features that are unlocked from the free package. In the free tier, ads are shown like they would be on the regular NITRO broadcast networks. The middle tier will only show ads up to five minutes per hour. The upper tier, Punky Premium Plus (Punky Power), provides the full library without ads like no ads at all interrupting programming. Punky Free is available at no charge to all international internet users regardless of what region you live in as long as you have access to both NITRO Television which is a broadcasting service and a working internet connection. Punky Premium is available as a monthly subscription but also is included in some services from TV service providers including cable or dish. Subscribers to Punky Premium, whether subscribing directly or receiving service through a provider, can upgrade to the ad-free service, Punky Power, for an additional monthly cost, and what's amazing about this service is that you're put on an unique contract where you have the option to sign for 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or up to 2 years at the same price regardless if there's a price hike at any point.
- $0.00 (FREE!) a month for a Punky Free Plan (with full ads) (Starts 10-3-18)
- $7.99 a month for a Punky Premium Plan (with limited ads) (Starts 2-3-19)
- $24.99 a month for a Punky Power Premium Plus Plan (with no ads) (Starts 2-3-19)
On August 29, 2018, during ICE's Upfronts presentation they had first announced the streaming service platform and that NITRO Television would help with the full distribution to all international countries that receive NITRO Television as all it requires is a working internet connection.
On September 11, 2018, Canadian broadcast Corus Entertainment announced that it had acquired exclusive Canadian broadcast rights to select Punky original programming in that region. NITRO Television has a right to air anything on Punky regardless of exclusive deals made since ICE owns the service but the deal was made to exclusively that way to keep other media partners from penetrating on the rights in the future.
On September 20, 2018, a distribution deal with Apple was announced making Punky available on iOS devices and Apple TV upon launch and Punky content listed in the Apple TV app with the ability to subscribe to Punky Premium and Punky Power as an in-app purchase.
On September 22, 2018, a distribution deal with Google was announced making Punky available on Android and Google devices upon launch and Punky content listed in the Google Play Store app with the ability to subscribe to Punky Premium and Punky Power as an in-app purchase.
On September 25, 2018, The ICE Phederation and Roku reached an agreement to add Punky to Roku's devices in the United States, narrowly avoid a blackout of The ICE Phederation's TV Everywhere apps due to a dispute over revenue sharing and advertising inventory assignment. On October 3, Punky officially launched on Roku.
On October 3, 2018, the service became available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gaming platforms and will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox One X when those gaming consoles launch in the holiday season 2020.
Content
The service is drawn primarily from The ICE Phederation library, including subsidiaries such as Paramount Pictures and Paramount Television along with Warner Bros. Pictures and Warner Bros. Television plus Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and MGM Television as well. The number of hours of content is not known at this time as ICE is not done acquiring movies and shows to fill up their library just yet. Current episodes of ICE series will become available through the on demand service where you can replay them from the beginning as soon as they air if you have the replay feature through DVR which is only available to premium or premium plus plan customers, not free customers. Free plan customers will have to wait until the next day sometime between 3am and 6am to see the previous day's episodes on the service. ICE Daytime programs will be available at 8pm so soap fans can catchup on their soaps that night and not get a day behind on episodes and this will time will be available to free plan customers.
Punky plans to offer a lineup of around 25 curated digital linear channels in the future, featuring long-form and digital-originated programming content from The ICE Phederation's broadcast properties as they are designed to emulate a traditional broadcast programming experience (similar to services such as Pluto TV and Xumo) and they also have a secondary broadcast live 24/7 all day streaming network under the same name called "Punky" which launches on October 3, 2018, which will be available on NITRO Television for free. Chairman Marie Avgeropoulos says the network will be rated and measured by NITRO Officials but the linear channels won't be and also there will be a 24/7 shopping channel for the Jordache Jeans brand which will also be rated. Marie says she doesn't expect the linear channel to be rated but they will be rated by views by their own measurement team just like the streaming offerings will be doing as well.
Original programming
ICE plans to rollout original programming that will be made just for the Punky Television Network, Jordache Jeans Shopping Network, and Streaming Service that will be first run on those platforms instead of the ICE Television Network. Some shows that are run on ICE will also run as original episodes on Punky as well like ICE's Wide World of Sports and other programs. Just like on TV44 as well many ICE programs or Punky programs will be simulcast on each other's networks including Jordache Jeans Shopping Network programs.

Third-Party Content
On September 6, 2016, ICE reupped their partnership deals with Paramount, Warner Bros., and MGM as their three primary media partners. Paramount's deal with ICE expires in September 2021, Warner Bros.'s deal with ICE expires in September 2019, and MGM's deal with ICE expires in September 2020. The Warner Bros. Television deal helps ICE rerun episodes of Friends and Will & Grace during this window. Until these contracts expire then ICE has full access to these three media partners' full library except for independent third-party deals with the other two NITRO studios and also produce and help distribute programs and movies released by The ICE Phederation.
On August 30, 2018, ICE made deals with separate horror franchises to license use for the "Alien" franchise from 20th Century Fox through the 2021-22 season and extended their deal for the "Scream" franchise from Dimension Films through the 2020-21 season as the fifth Scream movie will be owned by Paramount Pictures so if ICE extends their partnership with Paramount in September 2021 or anytime before that deadline date then ICE will not need a contract to license use the Scream movie since Scream 5 is being released by Paramount in 2022. ICE plans on doing a separate TV Movie from the franchise that will be directed by Danielle Harris (Michael Myers' Favorite Niece) and will come out in Halloween 2019. ICE will also release a new Alien movie at the NITRO box office a separate series based on the Ripley chronicles.
On August 30, 2018, ICE made a deal with Skinemax an independent adult entertainment company based out of both Norwood and Amsterdam featuring a library of full-length softcore porn movies and series to provide 5,000 hours of content produced in 2017 and 2018 for the ICE networks and the streaming service Punky Power.
On September 4, 2018, ICE made several deals to bring in TV series for the new streaming service and network with some of them being non-exclusively licensed to ICE. Many shows that were signed will never see the light of day on ICE or Punky but that's the purpose of the streaming service is so that any shows that were picked up that don't air on NITRO Television can be accessed on the streaming service.
On September 13, 2018, ICE made a deal to pick up the rights to the Universal series "Crossing Jordan" (2001-07) to not only rerunning the original series but also rebooting it in the future on the Punky Television Network to give it a partner with the new "CSI: Norwood" series. The original star of the series Jill Hennessy will reprise her role in the series as the character "Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh" with a new cast of talent around her and the show will still be set and filmed out of Boston, Massachusetts. ICE started filming episodes earlier this week so the show is going to be ready to premiere inside of the 2018-19 season.
On October 1, 2018, ICE relinquished their rights to the "Saved By the Bell" franchise back to Universal and NBC along with the "Boy Meets World" franchise as well. The Boy Meets World rights was signed back in 2016 and expired back on September 4, 2018, the day before the new season started but ICE kept the rights for another month and now they've expired on October 6, 2018, so NBC Universal has the rights to the franchise now starting on October 8, 2018. This deal was originally made as a package deal when ICE signed Vice President Danielle Fishel to the ICE Phederation as she wanted to take her hit series "Topanga" with her but ICE never settled on any real plans to build that franchise up and they instead had Danielle take over Jaime's second season after it was renewed. When it comes to Saved By the Bell franchise they signed a similar deal for the franchise back in November 2013 but with Dustin Diamond's personal problems and declining ratings for the reboot and the primetime series The Adult Years. Kelly Kapowski is doing extremely well in daytime so the network is going to keep that series independent from the rest of the franchise but keep the rights to the Kelly Kapowski character. The rights to the Saved By the Bell franchise expires after October 27, 2018, and NBC Universal will have the rights to the entire franchise again from that point forward. This was all done in exchange for ICE receiving the rights to the Thank God It's Friday (TGIF) lineup brand moniker for their Kelly Green Fridays comedy block. ICE will gain the rights to the 'TGIF' name starting on October 6, 2018, from NBC. ICE dumped the franchises in order to free up room for other franchises which including the "Punky Brewster" franchise which they have plans with rebooting both the live action and animated series since the studio renewed their contract with Soleil Moon Frye the owner of the franchise. Punky Brewster will return with a mini-series from an episode of the original series based on the Northside Stalker during November Sweeps.
Sports Programming
Punky will carry a package called "The WFL Pass" that will replay full-length games from the WFL all season so fans can go back and view any single game they want from the season and watch the game in its entirety. Using the new technologically advanced feature on the new ICE logos will allow you to view the stats of the players with one click of your device.
When Team ICE resumes later in the season fans will be able to view the replay full-length games that are played including for Battle of the Network Stars and although the next Athletic Games hasn't been announced yet whenever it does happen it's expected that you will also be to stream and replay full-length matches from the Athletic Games as well. ICE is working on a new season of Teen Fighter featuring matches between contestants competing at the Draft Competitions and those matches are also expected to be replayed as well.
News Programming
ICE is expected to open up its news division from NITRO by installing on two of its 25 linear channels a 24/7 news channel where viewers can keep up with NITRO news all day and a separate channel for news and politics in the real world. The AM/PM North America shows will now have a permanent home to report the news all day and we'll shows with talking heads talking what's going on in NITRO and carrying live press conferences and stuff too.
Streaming Ratings
Starting after tonight when Wednesday's primetime numbers are in ICE will have the first set of ratings released as they will be just like the numbers that NBC has released based on the number of views that each program is getting from these streams. Since this isn't a full launch of the Punky Streaming Service only a limited amount of shows will be available to be rated over these next four months until the full rollout in February but it will only be the top 10. Ratings will be released every 2-3 days after tonight but they will be packaged for whatever days weren't measured yet but there will be times also as well where the ratings will be released on a daily basis as well.
ICE is going to separate some programs based on their genre as ICE doesn't want to measure certain programs up against certain types of shows as it hurts against their data when it's time to renew certain shows as shows will mainly be renewed based on their live ratings on NITRO Television mostly then their repeat performances as well whether it's on an ICE owned network or if it's on ROD or NBC and finally they will be measured on delayed viewership through DVR and streaming performances. As long as ratings for original first-run episodes are healthy on live television, the series won't necessarily need good numbers in repeat performances or in streaming. Shows on the bubble for renewal usually need healthy numbers in those two areas and ICE uses streaming ratings for data to sell to their advertisers and to see what does better from a streaming world perspective.
ICE will separate movies, sports, draft competitions (NGIT Pageant, Vegas Showgirls, Teen Athlete, The Carpenters Hour), and news programming from the rest of the ratings. ICE will release a top 10 for both primetime and daytime as those two areas will be separated. Also, a few original series will be available day one with the rest coming in February or anytime after that point. The original series ready for day one will be Neta's Pussy in 4K, Lindsay's Secret, Skinemax, and My Sister Katie which moves over from ICE to Punky Power starting this week.
Below you will be able to see which shows are available to be measured for ratings on day one.

Punky Television Network
The last section of this new streaming service will be the live broadcast channel the Punky Television Network which will run all day and all night 24 hours a day, 7 days a week starting on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, on NITRO Television.
Punky will be ICE's secondary network and will air on channel 3 which will be four channels before ICE which airs on channel 7 on NITRO Television.
ICE had short-lived channels before with ABC10, MBC, and TV44 back in 2009-2012 and then the Patrick Devine Network (PDN) for the 2013 season. All these networks ceased operations not because they weren't successful but because NITRO wanted to maximize the ratings for the main networks without increased competition from secondary networks. These new secondary networks will not be used to compete directly against the main networks but will be hosted as a promotion for the growing streaming services.
Punky will be primarily used to promote Punky Power but also help ICE air other content that requires bigger ratings to make their air.
With the new Punky Television Network, there will also be a new 24/7 shopping channel called the Jordache Jeans Shopping Network or for short JJSN and this channel will be located on channel 16 starting on the same date Wednesday, October 3, 2018, where a full schedule of programming dedicated to helping selling fashion items from the Jordache Jeans brand along with Nike who is a proud partner of Jordache Jeans as well. Other things such as electronics, cooking items, jewelry, makeup, and furniture will be sold on there as well in other off-hand hours but the network will mainly sell fashion items most of the time.
KYA & KYLA INTRODUCED
ICE INTRODUCES TWO NEW STUDIO CHIEFS
On Wednesday Afternoon, ICE introduced two new studio chiefs today in Kya Summers and Kyla Ray to join Paige Van Buren.
Kya Summers (Age 24) - 2010 Supplemental Draft Kyla Ray (Age 22) - 2013 NITRO Draft Paige Van Buren (Age 19) - 2010 NITRO Draft
Kya Summers and Kyla Ray were born and raised into NITRO at ICE and now they are the two newest Head Bitches in Charge of The Phederation. Their duties now are to help lead the studio with Paige Van Buren making all three of them the youngest Studio Chiefs in all of NITRO at the moment.
Kya and Kyla have come a long way because Kya started off as a hitman for The Lizzies in Detroit while Kyla started off as a drug dealer for The Sallies in Philadelphia. Both girls say both jobs taught them a lot about a business when they were younger so they were ready to run a whole entertainment company.
They will all have the same exact job of maintaining the top status in NITRO going forward but their individual duties will be different as Paige will continue on to be the main CEO of the three being in charge of every single thing in the studio and making final decisions. Paige will do more overseeing of the new Punky Television Network and Punky Power Streaming Service as well so Kya and Kyla coming in will definitely help. Kyla's job is mainly to help lead the roster but she will get more acclimated into making financial decisions for the studio and making decisions on programming moves. Kya's job is also a leader of the roster as well but her position will be to deal with international business dealings and have contact with the other studios since she has a very good relationship with both ROD and NBC right now plus she will deal more with ownership in terms of the studio's partnership with The Lizzies and The Sallies and her dealings with Jordache Jeans and Gucci Jeans on the fashion end since she is an active supermodel in that industry.
All three girls feel energized to take on the job and lead ICE into the future.
At the moment there is no plan to go back to a single CEO situation anytime soon but eventually, the studio will decide on going back to that format down the line as Kya Summers could be heading into ownership within the next season or two so she's not expected to still be CEO in the long run.

ICE also announced today that they now temporarily have placed in a new Drama Coordinator in Tequan Richmond who work on a number of projects as both an actor and a producer at ICE since the 2012 season. Tequan Richmond will takeover the position until ICE finds a permanent roster member to take on the position but ICE is in no rush to find anybody knowing that Tequan has the experience and smarts to lead that position for however long it takes. Tequan's first duty will be to figure out ICE's Daytime Soap situation which we will talk about in-depth below. Mia Serafino is the sole Comedy Coordinator right now with ICE and we'll talk about her comedy roster after the soaps.
ICE MOVES STAR 80 TO PUNKY & FUTURE SOAPS IN DEVELOPMENT
Tequan Richmond is temporarily the new Drama Coordinator for this season until they find a permanent executive for that position and since there's no Daytime President he is working closely with Soaps Coordinator Ashley Jones on the situation.
ICE is without a Daytime President at the moment but their current Soaps Coordinator Ashley Jones has been busy keeping soaps in development as the upstairs brass like Chairman Marie Avgeropoulos, Director of Entertainment Operations Isabelle Fuhrman, and President Molly Ephraim all want to duplicate the formula of success of having a major star lead a soap like they've done with Vika Bronova on "Another World" and Strawberry Shields on "Staying Alive" to start this new season. The plan right now is to evaluate the lineup and install a couple of new soaps this season and keep a few in reserve. ICE has been very successful and way out in front of the other networks in terms of ratings performances.
"Star 80" will be the first soap on the move as it was a placeholder until its replacement is ready to go as ICE had determined after Victoria Justice signed over to NBC that the network would need to find a replacement soap for it but it still had a chance to survive based on how it performed throughout September. Star 80 was judged differently because it had stronger lead-ins and different types of lead-ins with talk shows so the way it performed was going to be determined differently for the most part but ICE's plan to run with more half-hour soaps might be coming into fruition as there could be some shakeups here.
Head Programmer Lawrence St. Victor says the plan will be to balance between half-hour and hour long soaps so there will be three half-hour soaps on the schedule and three hour long soaps on the schedule. "Youthful Daydreamers" might be shortening up to a half-hour since the show has a lot of younger viewers and attention spans tend to be shorter for younger people than they are for older people so the plan could be to shorten Youthful Daydreamer's run-time to 30 minutes and add a new soap to air next to it. Staying Alive, Another World and All My Children will likely keep their hour long durations. No final decisions have been made on the run-times just yet but it's expected that when Youthful Daydreamers returns from its two-week hiatus run at the end of the month that it will return in a new half-hour format starting on Monday, November 5, 2018, which would be the plan so we could see a new soap debut on that day next to it as well moving the soap roster up from 5 to 6 soaps. Lawrence did say that they're in no rush to get that soap to premiere that day saying that Youthful Daydreamers might be an hour long for sometime as the priority is to get the soap that's replacing Star 80 ready to go by that date so we might still be at 5 soaps on the ICE Daytime roster by that point. If Another World is replaced in the future it would come deeper in the future not in November.
ICE Daytime (Effective Nov. 5, 2018) 11:00a - All My Children 12:00n - It's High Noon with Pyper America 1:00p - Love in the Afternoon Live 1:30p - New Soap 2:00p - Another World 3:00p - Staying Alive 4:00p - New Soap 4:30p - Youthful Daydreamers (New Timeslot)
Star 80 is going to be moved over to Punky with its final episode airing on ICE on Friday, October 19th, 2018, then moving new episodes over to Punky starting on Monday, November 5, 2018. It's still not known yet if Star 80 will have a partner coming over with it to Punky. It's also not known yet if two new soaps will be premiering in those open timeslots or if it will just be one premiering after the two-week hiatus.

Ashley Jones did report to us on Wednesday that she has been working with DEO Isabelle Fuhrman on all of the future soap projects at ICE. Ashley Jones main job is to coordinate on these projects and make play calls on them while Isabelle Fuhrman's job is to direct the operations over the development of these soaps and oversee them to make sure they're up to the standards of what the upper brass wants with their brand of soaps. They are primarily working with four producers on creating all of these soap projects as the network did so in the past with Bryton McClure and his team before this season. Those four people are Riley Smith who just came over from ROD in the Nancy Drew cast signing package along with soap veteran Rebecca Budig who currently has a starring role on All My Children, Love in the Afternoon Live executive producer Elliot Knight, and young inspiring filmmaker Taylor A. Purdee who has done a good amount of background work for ICE in the past few years.
Vincent Irizarry who was primarily responsible for the All My Children reboot last season will work with Rebecca Budig, Wayne Brady, and Thorsten Kaye on soap project #1 which is going to be the replacement for Star 80 but the soap is still early in development but will be ready within a month and will have a title. Ashley says she'll announce the soap in a few weeks and the network will start teasing it within the next week on the network. The project is expected to be a spin-off or a sister soap of All My Children and will be a half-hour long.

Ashley Jones is also working with Isabelle Fuhrman on soap project #2 with Dominic Zamprogna and a group of youngsters in Lexi Ainsworth, Haley Pullos, Tajh Bellow, Katelyn MacMullen, and Kelly Thiebaud on a youthful soap pilot to go with the Youthful Daydreamers and Staying Alive audiences. This soap project is also in very early development stages but there's no rush to progress this soap to casting or production just yet so it's likely that this soap as of the moment will not see the light of day until primarily 2019 at the earliest and it will be a half-hour long. They have hinted that this project will be based on the extremely popular video game "Grand Theft Auto" and will be centered on a group of teens who live a life of crime by hijacking people for a living.
This project is owned by Paramount Television and distributed by Warner Bros. Television.
They are also working on soap project #3 which is going to be a retooling of the failed soap opera "We've Got Each Other" which was a soap that Haley Pullos starred in with Drama Coordinator Tequan Richmond the last couple of seasons about a young couple going through the ups and downs in their Port Charles community. The plan right now that they will be able to get that project to move forward faster than the second soap project which still doesn't have a premise just yet. Haley Pullos herself said they she would star in it again with Tajh Bellow this time and Lexi Ainsworth would join her and that it would be an Overnight Nurses spin-off as their characters from that show would move over there. Lexi Ainsworth currently has a role on All My Children but she would switch over to We've Got Each Other full-time if that pilot gets the greenlight.
This project is owned and distributed by Paramount Television.
Soap Project #4 is going to be headed by Vanessa Marcil and NBC's Courtney Hope's boyfriend Chad Duell this project is expected to be an hour long so this is expected to be a big project but probably won't be ready until next season but it's definitely in competition with Another World or All My Children for a timeslot. There's no details on this project but it's expected to be a pretty big one and not a reboot of an old soap. Just like the other regime of young producers above both Vanessa and Chad have a backup project that is a soap reboot called "The Edge of Night" in the works which will be soap project #5. Before Lori Loughlin's recent legal troubles this soap was on the table going back to 2010 but it never got to fruition as it was originally going to be a nighttime soap but it got passed over by Vancouver Models, Who Wanted Nichole Dead, and Overnight Nurses. Now The Edge of Night is going to be revived as a daytime soap which was what it was in its original run on CBS and ABC. There's no word yet on if it's going to be a half-hour or an hour long soap.
All five of these soap projects are in contention for timeslots on ICE but could also be joining Star 80 on Punky as well.
Right now Marie Avgeropoulos is leaning towards giving the greenlight to "We've Got Each Other" to start on November 5th ahead of the other soap projects since it seems the most ready to be casted and to get into production. Marie says a decision will be made on it no later than next week so that can start promoting it and getting it into production. We've Got Each Other would air at 1:30pm to start its run then move to the 4pm hour once one of the other soap projects are moving forward and Youthful Daydreamers is shrunken down to 30 minutes.
ICE STARLETS vs. CHEERLEADERS PREMIERES FRIDAY
On Friday Afternoon this week, we will have the official series premiere of the newest ICE game show "ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders" which will replace the struggling "Friday Night Family Game Night" which will move over to Punky the following week.
ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders was made as a replacement project for Team ICE now that the season is getting delayed until later in the winter season due to obligations for the ICE Starlets in the WFL during the fall but it was also picked up because the network did not opt to put "Battle of the Sexes" back together which was one of the original ICE game shows from back in the first year of NITRO Television.
Long-time ICE Game Show Coordinator Charles Neely says he made the show because he noticed that there seems to be a real-life rivalry between the Starlets and the cheerleaders whether it be at the high school or the WFL Players and the WFL Cheerleaders and thought it'd be fun to put them in a competition on live TV to see how it all goes down.
ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders will pin two teams against each other with the first team being a group of Starlets that will be led by Megan May Williams and Alyssa Lynch and then the second team being a group of cheerleaders who will try their best to defeat the Starlets in a best of 3 series. Each week will be a single game in a series so for example this week will be the first game and then next week the second game. Whichever team wins at least 2 games will be the winner so each series can last anywhere from 2-3 weeks.
We will see a different group of cheerleaders and these series counts for the cheerleaders to have an opportunity to comeback for the end of the season tournament to determine who wins the ultimate prize of winning between the Starlets and the Cheerleaders. Cheerleaders who comeback for the tournament will be determined by points they gain during the games as the teams with the most points will comeback later in the season for the tournament. The different groups of cheerleaders will be a mix between high school, college, and professional WFL cheerleaders.
First up will be the Toronto Icegals Cheerleading Squad as their girls will participate to try and win a spot in the tournament then after them, it will be the East York High School Cheerleading Squad so the first two teams will be close to home rivals for the Starlets and they know the girls from these teams very well.
Both teams will compete in a series of random games that are separated by trivia games, casino games, traditional game show games, and physical events with some of them being tied to sports.
Since Megan May Williams and Alyssa Lynch are captains they're both responsible for picking the best ICE Starlets possible to make sure they get these wins over these cheerleading squads. Both teams are playing for money as the Starlets are raising money for at-risk youths in Lizzie's jurisdictions and the Cheerleaders are raising money for themselves since they aren't paid that well to do their jobs.
Here is how the ICE Starlets team will be for the premiere episode on Friday.

EARLY THOMAS FORRESTER PLANS
On Wednesday Afternoon, Tequan Richmond let the media know that ICE has some drama pilots that are going to be ready for this current season and the first pilot that people are really wondering about right now is the nighttime soap "Thomas Forrester" which will be competing against NBC's Liam Spencer and ROD's Steffy Forrester, Sheila Carter, and Quinn Fuller. Thomas Forrester will be the first of the B&B dramas to popup on ICE-TV but ICE is taking their time getting the pilot into development unlike NBC who took a really short period of time to put Liam Spencer into production.
Thomas Forrester is taking its time to get into production because of the lack of scheduling space available on ICE right now so people are going to have to wait to see Thomas.
Reportedly Soaps Coordinator Ashley Jones and DEO Isabelle Fuhrman will be working with producers Don Diamont, Thorsten Kaye, Hunter Tylo, Wayne Brady, and Jennifer Gareis on the project. Matthew Atkinson will star in the show as Thomas Forrester and assisting him will be his best bud Joe LoCicero as Vincent "Vinny" Walker along with his cousin Zende Forrester Dominguez portrayed by Delon de Metz. Other characters included are going to be his mom Taylor (Hunter Tylo), his father Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), Dr. Buckingham (Wayne Brady), Carter Walton (Lawrence St. Victor), Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears), Caitlin Ramirez (Kayla Ewell), Jessica Forrester (TBA), Marcus Walton (Texas Battle), Morgan DeWitt (Sarah Buxton), Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer), and Caroline Forrester (Linsey Godfrey) as well. Phoebe and Aly's characters might be brought back to life for the series. The cast seems pretty straight and could add a couple of rookies to boost up the star power of the cast by premiere date.
The show is expected to have frequent crossovers with All My Children, Who Wanted Nichole Dead, Steffy Forrester, Sheila Carter, and Quinn Fuller so that characters can frequent the show. ICE hadn't made a deal yet with NBC to have crossovers with Liam Spencer but that is in the cards to happen in the future to rekindle Thomas' rivalry with Liam and his love interest in Hope.
Isabelle Fuhrman said that Thomas Forrester will film live in Toronto but during crossover events the show will be filmed in Los Angeles using ROD's studio space just like All My Children who will tape in Los Angeles on Thursdays and Fridays during this upcoming sweeps season in November to keep the ROD actors who have to work on their soaps on Friday Nights from making long cross-country trips in the middle of the day on Fridays.
As of now Matthew Atkinson as Thomas is working episodes on "Steffy Forrester" on Friday Nights for ROD and during the crossover most of the cast except a few people will be working on those other soaps while they wait for their home Thomas to open up.
The story is about Thomas Forrester who is trying to battle his demons and change his life around after suffering a bad tumor but there's a couple of people close to him in his life who is using his past against him to commit crimes in Los Angeles to people around him.
This project is owned and distributed by Paramount Television.
Thomas Forrester still doesn't have a premiere date just yet but is expected to premiere by January.
TOUCH ME WHEN WE'RE DANCING IS GOING LIVE THIS JANUARY
One of the bigger drama pilots that was in the works the previous season was the first ever Carpenters Hour scripted series "Touch Me When We're Dancing" based off The Carpenters 1981 love ballad.
The story centers around a Baltimore student who gets into a great dance school is trying to achieve success a the highest degree with the help of a boy she meets and likes but her street crew keeps calling her name to battle against other dancers from the streets keeping her from getting completely away from the street life.
This project is owned and distributed by MGM Television.
The dance drama was to be the first of its kind as it was going to be live weekly musical but daytime drama "Staying Alive" beat this project to the punch this season as the basis of the Staying Alive soap project was based around the idea of being a dance soap opera based on the 1983 film that was going to be adapted into a daily musical play. Although Touch Me When We're Dancing won't be the first of its kind it will still get put into production and will have a way higher budget than Staying Alive to do some things that Staying Alive can't do being stuck on a cheaper daytime soap budget. Touch Me When We're Dancing will do some things with more expensive cameras and tricks to make it look expensive instead of cheap. Touch Me When We're Dancing will use a multi-camera setup just like Staying Alive during filming.
Touch Me When We're Dancing was originally going to premiere in January 2014 but due to the suspension of that season to a spread of violence all over NITRO the pilot never aired but now that we've been assured by NITRO Officials that we're getting a full season this year it looks like this project will finally hit the air.
Touch Me When We're Dancing is being produced by Carpenters Hour judges Raymond "Doc" Berry, JoJo, Paula Abdul along with Carpenters Hour first winner Keira Pullman and Taylor A. Purdee with Tequan Richmond, Ashley Jones, and Isabelle Fuhrman overseeing the project. Joey Lawrence will be the primary showrunner for the show with Riley Smith assisting him.
Kathryn Morrison who won the second season of The Carpenters Hour back in 2012 and was drafted by ICE in 2013 will star in the series as the top lead of the series. Ernie Whitfield who is coming over soon from NBC will be the main male lead for the show as well. Becky G, Jasmine Sanders, and Kendall Vertes will be starring in the project as well as Kendall already works with Strawberry Shields on Staying Alive in daytime. Kendall is currently teammates with Strawberry in the WFL on the Seattle Jewel this season. Camilla Christensen will provide music for the show and will lead the show's live onstage band as well.
Allison Holker will provide dance choreography for the project along with Alyson Stoner, Keo Motsepe, Dytto, and Fik-Shun. They will all be supervised by executive producer Paula Abdul. Sharni Vinson will direct the pilot episode and a majority of the episodes after the pilot along with Jon M. Chu (Step Up films) will be directing other episodes where special effects are prominent in the episodes.
Touch Me When We're Dancing apparently has already been given a premiere date as it will launch live on Monday, January 7, 2019, at 8pm right before "The Carpenters Hour" on Monday Nights. The episodes will be taped live from the same venue where The Carpenters Hour shows are being held at during those weeks and will only air from January-March so its season finale will be on Monday, March 25, 2019, for approximately 13 episodes this season.
Truck Ladies will move to a different timeslot and Overnight Nurses might move to Thursdays but no final decision has been made just yet on where these current Monday Night dramas are going to go to make room for Touch Me When We're Dancing. Both shows could also go on hiatus as well depending on their episode orders for the season.
A NEW HEATHER SPIN-OFF IS COMING & HALLOWEEN MOVIES
Are you ready to be scared by Heather the Witch again?
Well you have no choice as "Heather" celebrates in 10th anniversary next year since that first TV Movie mini-series was released back in October 2009 and was the first major TV Movie or mini-series in NITRO Television history. Just last season Heather finally turned into a TV series when it started airing on NBC last season and now will move into its second season later this month on NBC again.
Heather is a Janit O'Day Franchise spin-off centered around a dangerous mentally-ill student named Heather Saltzman (Jessica Szohr) from Philadelphia who is homicidal and practices witchcraft to figure out how to gain skills in black magic. Through her newfound power, she started leading a cult of young witches called "The Heathers" who carry on her crimes. After Heather left Bell Academy in Philadelphia to go work for Kelly Coyle in her gang on Kelly's Thugs she found a spot in Salem, Massachusetts that's dedicated to witchcraft and learned that mastery from a witch named Veronica Sawyer (Winona Ryder) after she went back to Philadelphia to recruit a new core of witches to brainwash she had them return with her to seek out crimes all over New England and take away the drug money profits of her old boss Kelly.
This project is owned by Paramount Television and distributed by Universal Television.
There will be a major change though as Jessica Szohr has officially left The ICE Phederation to focus on her personal life and the role of Heather will have to be recast but there will be a twist. Jessica Szohr was able to film her final scenes back in the summertime when the show went back into production for the upcoming season. Jessica's version of the Heather character will be killed off by a mysterious copycat killer who is trying to be just like Heather. As you guys might already know Heather is Witch who practices witchcraft and kills people both normally and with magic. She also runs a cult of young witches and one of those witches might've wanted to takeover the leadership of the cult.

According to Super Producer Michael Bradeson, the first two episodes of season 2 of Heather this season will feature Jessica's version of Heather getting killed off in the cliffhanger of episode 2. Jessica is stabbed to death by the new Heather who will be played by Young Girls star Kaylee Bryant and added to the cast will also be Leo Howard, Quincy Fouse, Jenny Boyd, Kiernan Shipka, and the cast of "Nancy Drew" as well.
The copycat killer will use the name Heather and become the new Heather Saltzman and takeover her whole identity and takeover the new cult.
From there that sets up the purpose of the spin-off which will be centered mainly on the girls inside of the Heathers cult. There's no title for the spin-off just yet but we know what it's going to be about so far and according to Isabelle Fuhrman, it's not known what network will get a chance to air the spin-off. The network wants to keep a close eye on how Heather does to start their new season on NBC as it's possible that the spin-off could go over there or ICE could keep it for itself. ROD currently has Pretty Thieves which is doing very well over there. There's rumors right now that ICE only wants to keep Kelly's Thugs for sure and that Janit O'Day and Fugitive at 17 could be shopped to the other networks and they would keep the spin-off for themselves.
It's not known yet when the spin-off will be ready but Upper ICE Brass says it can easily be ready for later in the season but could be held for next fall as well but don't expect it to premiere before the 2nd half of the season either which starts around February or March.

Scary ICE resumes on Saturday, October 20, 2018, as the annual 14-day Halloween horror movie marathon returns for two weeks on network and runs through Friday, November 2, 2018 this season. Scary ICE will air on the ICE Television Network (ICE-TV), Punky Television Network (PUNKY-TV), and will be available for streaming on the Punky Power Streaming Service (PUNKY-OTT) as movies that will not make the air on NITRO Television will be available for streaming on Punky Power.
You can catch the most vicious and dangerous killers in a two-week span all day and all night as movies from the Paramount Pictures (PAR), Warner Bros. Pictures (WB), Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM), and third party libraries will be available.
Scary ICE will be on ICE primarily during daytime hours as most of the daytime lineup will be off for those two weeks but the primetime lineup will still be producing new content but there will be some slots in primetime where we will have movies getting that shine in primetime hours. Over on Punky you will get more of a wide spread marathon of Scary ICE over the whole course of a day due to no obligations for primetime programming during those two weeks as these movies will run all night as well in late night to early morning hours and again for the streaming service on Punky Power you can see the movies that don't make the air. Scary ICE will end before Friday Night on November 2nd as we make a full transition back into regular programming for November Sweeps that night.
Every movie that airs will be digitally restored in Supervision HD and some movies will transition in 4K for the first time.
With every Scary ICE season comes some new theatrical premieres making their world broadcast premiere, network premiere, TV movies, or mini-series specials.

Mini-Series Events Panic at Malibu Pier (2018) (MGM)
Since NITRO was out for five years some of the feature films that never got a chance to premiere on ICE will get rolled out during this Scary ICE run this October as ICE will have 14 theatricals premiering over a period of two weeks on both ICE and Punky along with 4 new TV Movie premieres as well. A lot of these movies will premiere outside of primetime hours but the new TV movies will premiere in primetime hours.
The only feature film with a premiere date so far is "Skipper Roberts" which will premiere on "The ICE Special Treat" film anthology television series. Skipper Roberts is seen as the main theatrical movie to premiere during this Scary ICE season so that's why it already has a premiere date so that ICE can start premiering its premiere in conjunction with its sequel's theatrical release date on Friday, November 9, 2018. The World Broadcast Premiere date will be on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 10:00pm right after a taped version of the New Girls in Town Pageant Auditions from London, England. Skipper Roberts will premiere on Punky and ROD who has the second run rights for the film. ICE will add other dates when their weekly schedules are officially released.
Now the new TV movies there will be 4 new ones with one of them being a mini-series event called "Panic at Malibu Pier" which will be a two-night event over the course of 4 hours split into two parts. Panic at Malibu Pier is a remake of a story from the "Baywatch" pilot that aired in 1989 about the character Laurie Harris played by Madchen Amick who just got released from a mental institution and tried to commit suicide on the pier at the beach until a lifeguard named Craig Pomeroy played by Parker Stevenson rescues her to safety. Craig does CPR on her and when she awakes she mistakes it for a kiss and starts to grow a dangerous crush on him and starts stalking him even going as far as to trying to ruin his marriage with his wife. Lauren later tries to stab his wife back on the beach. Craig learns from Lauren's mother that she is crazy and lies about being molested as a child by her father who died when she was 8 years old.
The story is one of Pat Devine's favorite moments from the series Baywatch which has a successful reboot that is currently on ROD right now and aired on NBC last season for its first season back on the air. Pat Devine will have Whitney Price who's a main writer and producer from the Janit O'Day Franchise as she currently is the showrunner for "Pretty Thieves" and "Heather" right now. Whitney Price will be in charge of creating this mini-series and directing it will be the studio's Lead Television Director Ryan Newman who has already directed more than 40 episodes for various programs this season on ICE. Starring as Laurie Harris will be actress Airee Brooks who says she watched the Baywatch pilot to really study Madchen Amick's character style. The entire mini-series was filmed out in Los Angeles back in July and the series is now refilming some scenes on Lake Ontario Beach in Toronto and is in the middle of editing. Panic at Malibu Pier will do a different version of the Laurie Harris story to open up the possibility of a new TV series next season or future movie sequels. There is no premiere date for the mini-series just yet but it's expected to air sometime in that two week Scary ICE window.
The three TV movies premiering starting with "Hospitality II" will premiere on Halloween Night on ICE and will once again star Danielle Harris as Michael Myers' niece as this was actually filmed back in 2016 before the television pilot that was spun-off this Halloween Franchise made-for-television movie portion of the franchise. NBC is launching "Michael Myers' Favorite Niece" later this month and the series will be launching right off of what happens on Hospitality II.
The next TV movie is "Girl Games 3" which is the third entry of the trilogy about homicidal girls who play games with people's minds and kill them. Lindsay Hartley produced and directed the film as this is one of 12 movies that was apart of her 12-picture deal with The ICE Phederation as she already produced "Secret Auntie" earlier in the season. This one will feature a new quartet of actresses led by Talia Scoggins and it's actually still being filmed right now but it's scheduled to end filming by next Friday and the movie itself won't be ready until Halloween day.
The last TV movie entry is not a sequel but a whole new movie called "Black Magic Sisters" about some witches at an Ohio college who practice black magic techniques. This movie draws many similarities to Heather but it's more about an element of magicians who use those secrets for evil. Warner Bros. Pictures originally was going to release the film in theaters but due to the NITRO shutdown it got delayed until the reopening of NITRO this fall. The movie has been in production filming in and out since 2013 but Warner Bros. had the movie completely refilmed last fall in October and November 2017 with readjusted budget due to it premiering on the small screen instead of the big screen. The budget was going to be really high for the movie at around $150 million but it was reduced down to $25 million with tricks made to make it look like the special effects were expensive. Phoebe Tonkin directed Black Magic Sisters using her experience from The Originals to make it look really good. Stella Maeve and Jade Tailor are both star in the movie with a slew of other young actresses most notably Paris Jackson who shot this movie with them. Black Magic Sisters doesn't have a release date yet but Paige Van Buren said she wants it on in primetime on ICE because it has Paris Jackson and some of the other popular rookies attached to it but she doesn't think it will be airing on Halloween Night though.
OTHER DRAMAS IN THE WORKS
Other dramas in the work under Tequan Richmond will be at least three of them which will be ready for midseason starting with a couple of crime dramas. The first being a reboot project from the 1978-81 TV Series "Vega$" which will be reconfigured into focusing on Vice Squad cases in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and will center on a group of young female cops who will cases undercover. The project is expected to be very gritty and violent in nature similar to "Teen Angels" which is a cross between "21 Jump Street" and "Charlie's Angels" with sleuths working undercover in a dangerous Toronto city high school. Teen Angels is a little bit more lighter in a tone so that it could be more friendlier to a general audience. The girls working these cases will aim at investigating narcotics-related crimes, gang activity, crimes of prostitution, liquor violations, weapons offenses, and gambling. Since we're in Las Vegas after all a good amount of cases will focus on the corruption in the gambling industry.
Teen Angels showrunner Alix Elizabeth Gitter will also head up this project and Aisha Williams will have more producing power over this new "Viva Vice Vega$" project as Aisha has spent the past season learning under Alix on Teen Angels. They will both be getting help from Michael Beach, Taye Diggs, and Kathleen Robertson who are all expected to help lead this project as well. The cast players have not been announced just yet but Josh Duhamel said he will star in it as the girl's boss on the show as he describes his characters to like Bosley from Charlie's Angels and there's no expectation on when this project will premiere.
This project is owned and distributed by Paramount Television.
The next project is going to be under an anthology film series named "The ICE Mystery Movie" which will be introduced later in the season. The ICE Mystery Movie is the umbrella title of a NITRO Television series produced by Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios. The ICE Mystery Movie is a reboot adaption program from The NBC Mystery Movie that produced series from Universal Pictures, that NBC broadcast from 1971 to 1977, sometimes split into two subsets broadcast concurrently on different nights of the week: The NBC Sunday Mystery Movie and The NBC Wednesday Mystery Movie. Hallmark Mystery & Movies has a similar program featuring series that air a few times a year.
The ICE Mystery Movie will be a "wheel series", or "umbrella program" that rotated several programs within the same period throughout each of its seasons.
The first series being produced in the series will come from Paramount Pictures called "Jane" about a quirky twenty-something private investigator from Vancouver who solves wild cases in her hometown. Alix Elizabeth Gitter from "Teen Angels" and the new "Viva Vice Vega$" drama pilot will be the showrunner behind the series along with former ICE comedy star Lacey Chabert and ICE Official Alexandra Chando. Alyssa Lynch will star in the series as Jane and the first episode is expected to air sometime in November.
This project is owned and distributed by Paramount Pictures.
The last drama pilot in the works is "Old West Ways" is a current day western about a trio of cowgirls who are also horseback riders from Calgary visit a town in the Western part of the United States that's dominated by rebels set in their old ways and these girls don't take shit from anybody as they look to take over that town to build a new ranch. This western has some soap opera elements to it that make it a modern version of "Dallas" as it's all about power and control.
Paige Van Buren promised in her introductory press conference that she would try to bring back the western genre and modernize it so that it wasn't set in period times and could bring in younger viewers to the genre. Old West Ways could be her way of trying to bring that genre back in a modernized style.
John Stamos from Drama's Place and Aubrey Peeples will produce the series and so far AnnaLynne McCord from Kelly's Thugs, Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jennifer Landon, and Julie Gonzalo have been cast in the series. The three cowgirls have not been cast just yet as this project might be ready for later in the season or will be held until next season.
This project is owned Paramount Television and distributed by Warner Bros. Television.
That just about does it on the drama end and here's an update on our comedy series.
LAVERNE & SHIRLEY IS GETTING REBOOTED
Comedy Coordinator Mia Serafino gives us some updates on ICE's newest comedies and we start with "DJ Becky" which is premiering tonight. As we've explained before DJ Becky will be a retooled version of the original series under the same name which was a Toronto's Friends Franchise series spin-off that premiered in 2010 based on Jacqueline MacInnes Wood's original character Rebecca Sloane from Toronto's Friends. The show went through many phases of being retooled during its run that it was ultimately cancelled in 2013 and bought back this season. "Angry Landlords" became the only extension of the Toronto's Friends Franchise that's still in existence today.
DJ Becky will be a way of bringing the franchise back to life as Strawberry Shields will now star as the lead character Rebecca "Becky" Sloane who is a struggling disc-jockey in Toronto always looking for gigs but getting them is tough sometimes making her financial situation a bit of a struggle. Becky moves in with her friends in order to make ends meet and survive in the big city of Toronto. Strawberry's real-life sisters Kay, Gillian, and Gabrielle Shields will all star in the show with her. Only Kay will play her sister in the show while Gillian and Gabby will play two of her friends on the show that she will live with on there. All of them have jobs that are low-paying but they are making it work. Gabby is an inspiring guitarist while Kay is looking to the lead singer of her band but they are also struggling like Becky to get gigs.
Grace Kaufman will be joining the DJ Becky cast along with Matt LeBlanc who was in the Toronto's Friends cast several years ago. Matt LeBlanc is the one producing the comedy under the production company Kaufman Works. Ryan Newman will direct the pilot tonight and the second episode on Friday Night live from Paramount Hall on both evenings.
Newly acquired Liz Huett a former backup singer of Taylor Swift and Carpenters Hour season 1 contestant will be working on her very first night at The Phederation as she has been cast into DJ Becky as a main rival to Kay and Gabby's band.
This project is owned Paramount Television and distributed by Warner Bros. Television.

The next project is a special one and it will be from the Paramount library with the full reboot of the 1970s hit "Laverne & Shirley" from the Happy Days Franchise. This new version of Laverne & Shirley unlike the original version will not be a period piece that's set in the 1950s or any other past decade as it will be set in the current day under a similar premise. Laverne & Shirley follows the lives of Laverne DeFazio (originally Penny Marshall) and Shirley Feeney (originally Cindy Williams), two friends and roommates who work as bottle-cappers in the fictitious Shotz Brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Set to star in the project will be ICE's top rookie prospect Bridget Satterlee who will play the lead character Laverne DeFazio meanwhile her friend on the show will be her Milwaukee Millers teammate Nancy Nery who will play Shirley Feeney. ICE Starlets vs. Cheerleaders co-host Odessa Adlon and Tone Bell will co-star in the project but more players are going to be added at a later date. The casting for Bridget Satterlee and Nancy Nery to be together came about because the two play for the same WFL team the Milwaukee Millers and are quickly becoming good friends. The nature behind the decision came from them getting to know the city of Milwaukee during their time up there and bringing that real-life element from the city onto the show. The brewing company that they will be working for on the show Shotz Brewery is a fictional version of the Miller Brewing Company which in real-life is actually based out of Milwaukee and they co-own Bridget and Nancy's WFL team the Milwaukee Millers. Shotz Brewery was also on the original version of Laverne & Shirley. Miller Lite says that by next month they will actually be selling Shotz Beer under that name at retailers and at WFL games starting with the Millers first home game after the show premieres in November.
Sarah Hyland will be producing this reimagining of the classic hit TV sitcom and she will have a recurring character running in the show. Sarah says the show will incorporate a heavy amount of physical comedy like the original series did and she also says that she wants the series to setup a future spin-off the other Happy Days spin-off "Joanie Loves Chachi" by introducing Joanie and Chachi's characters at some point later inside of the first season so that it can be ready to premiere by next fall. Sarah says there's no plans to ever reboot "Happy Days" itself or the other spin-off "Mork & Mindy" since they are perfect as period pieces and can't really be incorporated into current day times.
Bridget Satterlee ended up getting the gig not only because she's the top rookie to not have a comedy project yet but also because she's led four different comedies to huge success at the box office in "Bad News Bears vs. Hooters Chicks," "Little Darlings," "Junior Icegals," and "Rich Kids" earlier in her career before she was officially drafted to ICE in 2016. This huge Laverne & Shirley reboot is her chance to lead a classic television series into the new age of television to success as well. Bridget Satterlee has guest starred on various comedies this season such as "Youth of Life," "Young Girls," "Molly in South Philly," and "Bastard Kids" this season. Bridget will actually be guest starring on the second episode of Bastard Kids with Lindsey Visser live tonight at 10:30pm right before the big premiere of DJ Becky on ICE.
Laverne & Shirley is going to be premiering on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, live at 10pm on ICE.
This project is owned and distributed by Paramount Television.
Mia Serafino also announced that Bradeson Ventures the production company behind the Janit O'Day Franchise and "Youth of Life" will be making a spin-off series for Youth of Life but no word on when it will be getting released and what it's going to be about and the title. The only hint that was given was that they would like to do a comedy version based off the "Kelly's Thugs" series.
The project might not be available until next season more than likely but also it could be the first one to not air on the ICE Television Network as well.
This project is owned and distributed by Paramount Television.
Mia Serafino's last announcement was pertaining to the newly branded Friday Night comedy block from the Kelly Green Fridays theme to be under the "TGIF" umbrella name starting on Friday, October 12, 2018, through Friday, September 6, 2019. NBC had the rights previously to the TV programming block name standing for "Thank God It's Friday" or "Thank Goodness It's Funny" before selling it to ICE after the rights to the name expires this coming Saturday. ICE is picking up the name for one whole season as they are keeping their Friday comedy block there on Friday Nights the rest of the season but since ICE doesn't know for sure if they will be keeping their Friday comedy block on Friday Nights or not next season they didn't want to commit to an extra season for it just yet.
ICE's version of the TGIF comedy block contains the following sitcoms "Jaime," "Molly in South Philly," "Young Girls," and "Youth of Life" currently leading into the "New Girls in Town Pageant" on Fridays this fall. All of the comedies currently film live in front of a large audience at Paramount Hall in Toronto, Ontario every Friday Night except on Friday, November 9, 2018, when tapings will be live at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan to help celebrate a new start of the competition season on the New Girls in Town Pageant.
SATURDAY MORNING PLANS
ICE has released its plans to fully replace the void left by the failure of "Saved By the Bell" which will officially be ICE's first cancelled series of the new TV season.
First, on the docket inside of that Teen ICE block is a brand new diss show featuring Madison Beer called "Madison Hates NBC" done in the same style of "Molly in South Philly" where it's a sketch comedy that disses actors from the other networks or in this case actors from NBC. When Madison Beer first signed with ICE she wanted a show where she can air out all of NBC's dirty laundry and have a chance to make fun of them every single week and diss the shit out of them like Molly Ephraim does on her show with her cast. The rising popularity of the diss shows has caused others to get into development.
So far only Yareli Reyes is expected to star in it but more names will be released in the future.
Madison Hates NBC is now going to be rounding out its cast soon but it won't premiere until Saturday, November 3, 2018, at the earliest and should be airing inside of that 11am timeslot. With "Debby Jo's KFC Theater" moving to Punky next week there is room to have Madison Hates NBC air into that ICE Saturday Late Night rotation at 12:37am later in the season as well for longer editions.
This project is owned and distributed by Paramount Television.
In This Photo: Kris Van Damme, Bianca Bree
(May 16, 2018 - Source: Isabelle Fuhrman/Icon Company & Entertainment Media of North America)
Another series premiering next to "Madison Hates NBC" will be a new half-hour live action martial arts drama "Karate School" centered around a bunch of teen students who take up a self-defense class to fight off a local crime organization that's slowly starting to takeover their community and their families.
The series will feature a large cast and will star Ludi Lin, Dolph Lundgren, Michael Jai White, Peyton List, Eva Adams, Irene Ko Park, Lisa Grantham, Jaden Smith, Leo Howard, Matthew Atkinson, Sofia Carson, Madison Pettis, Kelli Berglund, Tyrel Jackson Williams, Paget Hagemeijer, Camren Bicondova, Britney Powell, Kate Li Williams, Keri Nee Adkins, Kirin Argento, Olivia Liang, Gavin Casalegno, Dacre Montgomery, Jon Prasida, Rebekah Graf, Odette Annable, and Keanu Reeves.
ICE is said to start out with a big cast and then shrink it greatly by using more than half of this cast for the retool of "Self-Defense" which will be pulled from the schedule after this week and be relaunched as a brand new series later in the season. Paige Van Buren stresses that she wants ICE to jump fully into the martial arts genre this season and is committed to making the genre work in NITRO which is why she says the studio will not give up on the ROD pilot Self-Defense just yet. ICE seasoned veteran actor Jared Padalecki will be in charge of retooling Self-Defense.
Jared Padalecki will be the executive producer of Karate School under New Line Television which will be New Line Cinema's first ever produced series in NITRO Television and the first since for the studio since 2008 and distributing partner Warner Bros. Television. Just like Black Magic Sisters the show was originally designed to be an expensive summer movie project for the box office back in 2015 but after the NITRO shutdown it ended up getting shafted to being tested as a television pilot where ICE has picked it up for Saturday Mornings this fall. The show will be shortened to an half-hour similar to "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" and the other live action TV series "G.I. Jane" and "Tomb Raiders" that air on the Teen ICE Saturday Morning block.
Jared Padalecki announced that he had signed on Justin Lin to direct the pilot but he departed for ROD so Jared went in-house and got Jean-Claude Van Damme's son Kris Van Damme and daughter Bianca Bree to direct the episodes this season. Kris Van Damme has directed the pilot and 2nd episode while Bianca got the 3rd episode. Jared wanted them because they had John Woo's directorial style and could capture the fight scenes exactly the way he wanted them portrayed.
The show has finished filming the first eight episodes of the season as most of them were filmed earlier this spring in both Langley, British Columbia and Minneapolis, Minnesota where the show is set from and the rest of the scenes were filmed in Toronto after the start of this season. Production will resume later this month around a tighter schedule. The first episode is scheduled to air on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 11:30am on ICE.
This project is owned and distributed by Warner Bros. Television.

BRITNEY SPEARS & MADONNA COMING TO TORONTO IN NOVEMBER
IT'S BRITNEY & MADONNA BITCH!
On Wednesday Afternoon, ICE saved the best announcement for last as the network is getting ready for November Sweeps pulling in double stunt event with two of pop music's best female performers of all-time as both of them appeared in person at Paramount Hall for the press conference. They will be watching the live comedy tapings tonight from the luxury suites. Both ladies will be visiting Toronto this November and doing double duty to perform live on "New Girls in Town Pageant" later that night in a different city. They will make the rounds all day in Toronto then fly out to the NGIT cities to perform for a segment or two.
Starting with Madonna she will be coming to Toronto on Friday, November 9, 2018, to perform on "Tahj & Arielle AM" then "It's High Noon with Pyper America" then she will hold her one-hour showcase to the fans in Toronto for an afternoon concert on "Kelly Green Fridays Music Jam" at 5pm on ICE. Madonna will also premiere her line of jeans on the Jordache Jeans Shopping Network during the day. After her Music Jam concert she will fly straight out to Detroit to perform later that night on the competition premiere of New Girls in Town Pageant live from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan which is a monumental return to her hometown.
This occasion is special because Madonna will perform live with the birthday girl Gabrielle Shields who said that she will be returning to Detroit for her birthday to perform with Madonna as they will perform on their new single during New Girls in Town Pageant. Madonna will hold a special concert for the fans in attendance after the pageant and it will be televised on Punky at 2am but will not be live due to ICE not wanting it to compete against "Who Wanted Nichole Dead?" which will be airing right after the pageant as usual.
Madonna said that she will stay in Detroit and perform a full concert for the people at Ford Field the following night on Saturday, November 10, 2018, but this will not be televised so locals will need to pay for a ticket and they go on sale next Friday.
In This Photo: Britney Spears
(Oct. 3, 2018 - Source: Isabelle Fuhrman/Icon Company & Entertainment Media of North America)
Britney performed "Kill the Lights" live for the media before her portion of the announcement to give the press a little preview of what's to come this November.
Up next was Britney Spears who celebrates the 20th anniversary of the debut of her first album that was released on Tuesday, January 12, 1999, so ICE called the event BRITNEY20 and really to celebrate 20 years of Britney's solo music career becoming the first teen musician ever to sell 25 million albums.
Britney will come to ICE two weeks after Madonna on Friday, November 23, 2018, on Black Friday as ICE is calling that day Black Friday instead of Kelly Green Friday as they will rollout their new black alternate logo and the release of the new Black Supersonic Kays that Kya Summers was rocking today for work although they haven't been released yet. Britney's theme for Music Jam concert and the concert she will have at NGIT Pageant will be black and green as her blackout album will be the theme.
Britney will make the same exact rounds that Madonna made except she will have a much longer flight flying from Toronto to San Francisco for the New Girls in Town Pageant but ICE said Britney doesn't have to perform until the last hour of the show to give her time to get there and relax and a little bit. Britney will also perform for the fans after the show at AT&T Park in San Francisco, California then she'll perform a full show the following night for the fans at the same venue.
Britney said just like Madonna she wants to perform with one of the ICE Starlets but we'll see who it is when we get closer to the date. Britney said she's a huge fan of ICE and is happy to be performing for them in November for sweeps.
Both Madonna and Britney will comeback later in the month to do a separate press conference just focusing on their visits to ICE.
It is going to be a couple of very historic festive days for ICE as they're bringing in November Sweeps in a big way.

There's a lot of deep deep information here but I'm thoroughly impressed ICE no wonder it took you a while to post this press release. It was a great read though I just got through finishing it. It's one of the best press releases I've ever read on NITRO it felt like I was reading a real press release especially when it came to the streaming part.
First off I want to start with the logos and say that these new ICE logos are the best logos ever in NITRO these are so clean that they seem like that they can remain unchanged for a long-time. Up until this point, I liked the 2012-13 logo the best but this new one is beast it's just so clean and I like the details in the star. The blue and green contrast each other really well in the new logo. My favorite are the star logos those bad boys are super clean and it doesn't matter what color either but I'm really digging the new Black Friday one with the green it looks really sleek and cool. The new ICE Starlets logo is pretty nice too I like the drawing of the girl and I didn't get a chance to comment on the new Punky logo but that looks amazing too I love the cartoon Punky she looks like a badass or a rebel in that picture. That's another clean logo that can remain untouched for a long-time. I think it really helps to see the old logos side-by-side because you can a gradual improvement in all of them but the current 5th generation logos are the best so far ICE nice job.
On the streaming side I'm really glad to hear that you guys will be releasing numbers right away for Punky Power I can't wait to see them and the network battles with AJC should be great along with the shopping channel battles too. I do believe ICE can easily achieve 20-40% of their customers to turn into premium paid customers as you guys have a very loyal viewing base it shouldn't be that tough to achieve those numbers. Also, I was surprised to see that Crossing Jordan and CSI: Norwood will be airing soon on Punky as I'll love to see how these shows will rate. CSI: LA was a failure on NBC but we'll see if CSI: Norwood is a success on Punky.
ICE is a very young studio so it's not a surprise to see the young CEOs and Tequan Richmond getting their positions they should do fine and so far Mia Serafino is underratedly doing a nice job with the ICE comedies if DJ Becky and Laverne & Shirley succeed she'll get credit for them since they both premiered under her watch.
We talked about the soap situation before but I'm liking how ICE has a plan with their soaps and not feeling contempt to just stick with whatever they have because they're on top because ROD and NBC are improving behind them. Star 80 will be a great asset to Punky but it needed to be replaced on ICE. There's a number of soap projects in development from what I see here. I think the risk would be reducing Youthful Daydreamers to a half-hour but it makes sense. We'll see how We've Got Each Other does in this run coming up. ICE you told me privately before about Million Dolla Baby and Lifeguards becoming future soaps but I didn't see them on here. Did you change your mind about them or are they one of the unnamed soap projects on here?
I feel like ICE Starlets versus Cheerleaders will be a huge hit this Friday as it's a unique game show concept with plenty of ICE star power on it so I can't see it failing. It should have some primetime airings as well.
I'm glad you are taking your time with Thomas Forrester making sure it launches in the perfect situation as I can't wait to see where it's scheduled in January. That was a smart decision to put the cast apart of the big crossover event in November. We finally get Touch Me When We're Dancing as I remember this project from last season as it finally airs but the specialness has been taken away from it now that Staying Alive has been released but it's airing in a good situation next to The Carpenters Hour but a risky move to move Truck Ladies from there unless it goes on hiatus then and returns to that slot after Touch Me When We're Dancing's season ends.
Heather with Kaylee Bryant will be a much stronger project than with Jessica Szohr in my opinion so Heather should get some huge numbers when it returns to NBC. Kaylee Bryant is off to a huge start on Young Girls so I like that casting decision and Kiernan Shipka's career as well by being added to this cast and the Nancy Drew players will be helped by being in this project as well too. Now the spin-off sounds amazing but where it ends up is the question? ICE can use a Janit O'Day show with some ratings potential but it could be better if the spin-off airs with Heather though so a tough decision the same with the Youth of Life spin-off as well.
I think some of these new TV Movie Halloween movies will do pretty well like Something About Amelia and Secret Auntie. Hospitality did really well last season and Girl Games always does well. I'm really interested in Panic at Malibu Pier that can turn into a series and so can Black Magic Sisters so it'll be very important to see how they both rate in their secondary runs.
Viva Vice Vegas is going to be an instant hit whenever it premieres like Teen Angels as I'd like to see how this is schedule since it seems to be more graphic and violent in nature. The ICE Mystery Movie series is a great idea I was surprised that we hadn't seen this done in NITRO before. Old West Ways does sound like the next Dallas this could be a mega hit and really bring the western genre back to NITRO.
Speaking of bringing a genre back to NITRO, I really believe possibly that the martial arts genre is set to explode and I like the fact that Self-Defense wasn't given up and there's a plan to beef up that cast and retool it as Self-Defense should turn into a daytime drama like The Swimming Diaries for ICE. Karate School really sounds like the next big thing in NITRO this can be huge as that cast is loaded and the concept seems fresh it reminds me of Power Rangers. This could turn into a fad type show and it will have a strong lead as I believe Madison Hates NBC will be heavily watched because it's a diss show and those are really popular right now. I remember when RTN was whining about his boring dramas getting beat by NBC's diss show earlier in the season but little did he know that's what NITRO viewers want to watch. Karate School will be huge I really got my eyes on it as ICE made the right move cancelling Saved By the Bell as early as they did as that should clean up their Saturday morning lineup pretty fast. Karate School should get a primetime airing or air weekday afternoons as well to get some more viewers and exposure. I noticed that Irene Ko Park, Eva Adams, and Paget Hagemeijer are all in the cast so this should be huge for them in the start of their television careers as Eva is already successful on Young Girls. The martial arts genre will be huge in NITRO so Paige made the right decision loading up on this genre and keeping Self-Defense as the worst case scenario is that ROD takes the show back and turns it into a huge hit for them.
I like the way that DJ Becky cast is turning out so far it should be a hit right out of the gate.
Laverne & Shirley was a nice surprise between that and I Love Lucy: Loaded these are gonna be two big reboot projects but Laverne & Shirley having Bridget Satterlee attached to it makes it an automatic winner it won't fail for them. If anything this really helps Nancy Nery get to another level being apart of a huge project like this as Bridget's sidekick. This is going to be huge for her career.
It looks like Mia Serafino is pretty much set with her 9 comedies on the roster in DJ Becky, Laverne & Shirley, Bastard Kids, Angry Landlords, Kelly Kapowski, Jaime, Molly in South Philly, Young Girls, and Youth of Life.
Last but not least is Britney Spears and Madonna these are two huge moves here for sweeps by ICE. I love the idea of Madonna performing with Gabby that's a huge move right there those ratings are gonna be so high that day and Britney Spears is still a huge name that's gonna be awesome. I'm glad these two never worked in NITRO before because that makes it special. I was shocked by this announcement but it's awesome.

Thanks D Stiles for the lengthy review man you really help all the time we're so lucky in this game to have you man.
Glad you like the new logos too I feel like they will be around a while as that was the purpose of these logos so they wouldn't have to be changed for a long-time but who knows they may change next season if I find a better design. LOL!
I do feel like we'll reach 20-40% of our customers to paid customers that's why we're rolling out the first four months free so people can decide if this is a service worth paying for in the future.
Yeah I'm excited about the Crossing Jordan reboot I wanted to put it on Punky so that we have more original programming on that network to run and take pressure off of it needing to put in strong numbers and that was the same idea with CSI: Norwood since we failed with CSI: Toronto back in that first season of NITRO so the CSI franchise has done badly in NITRO throughout the years hopefully that changes with Norwood.
I feel like Mia Serafino is doing great with our comedies and I gotta give Tim Allen at NBC credit too for finding the right comedies for his network as well. I'm really excited about this Laverne & Shirley reboot I wanted to go all in on it like I did with DJ Becky. This project should really help Nancy Nery's star power become a top 10 or top 20 rookie for us. I feel like if these two comedies hit we'll be set with bringing all 9 of these comedies back next season but I might end up replacing Angry Landlords since it's older and outdated. I do have a very important decision to make with the Janit O'Day shows the Heather spin-off and Youth of Life spin-off. I wouldn't mind one of these two going over to NBC or ROD but I'll have to continue to monitor the ratings for the Janit O'Day shows on my network. If Heather is strong than them on NBC then I might have to consider keeping these projects for myself and giving them one of the other shows. I am considering moving Janit O'Day to Punky as well which will give me room for my new dramas.
I really would like to get Viva Vice Vega$ premiered this season and maybe Old West Ways as well so I need the room because the schedule from Monday-Thursday will change quite a bit when we get to January and February. I'm gonna wait until after Christmas to make those big changes. We'll see with Truck Ladies as I'm thinking of moving Overnight Nurses to Thursdays but not sure just yet but I would like to put Truck Ladies and Old West Ways together on the schedule somewhere.
Black Magic Sisters will be a movie franchise first and maybe be sold as a pilot to one of the other networks or we'll keep it for ourselves either on the main network, Punky, or the streaming service. It's going to be just like Heather and start as a franchise when box office comes back the sequel might go to theaters. Panic at Malibu Pier is working as a pilot for our Lifeguard soap which is somewhat like our version of Baywatch. With the soaps to answer your question those other untitled projects are Million Dolla Baby and Lifeguards but I just didn't want to reveal them in this press conference just yet but Million Dolla Baby will be reworked as a daytime soap.
Thanks for your detailed thoughts on Karate School and Self-Defense. I do think highly of Karate School I think this can be huge and I will most definitely be giving it some primetime airings. I'm actually considering airing it twice a week like I've been doing with The Swimming Diaries. Self-Defense will become a daytime series and will have a primetime airing on Punky so it will air twice a week. The Swimming Diaries will start to air once a week once Self-Defense is ready to go which should be around January or February.
Lastly, I think that the key with Britney Spears and Madonna they never worked in NITRO before so that's what makes this special.

Leo Howard: Did you guys hear I'm going to be in Karate School? That's going to be a huge hit for us.
Paige Van Buren (Co-CEO): AJC ain't got shit on Punky that network weak as fuck.
Madison Beer: I got my own diss show now and I'm really going to be coming after you guys at clowns at NBC.
Eric McCormack: Debra Messing you will fail on I Love Lucy: Reloaded, you won't be as successful as the Laverne & Shirley reboot.
Kay Shields: Watch us tonight on DJ Becky, stop watching that crap Rachel.
Matthew Atkinson: Hey Liam you want to do a crossover with my show so we can have each other's characters on our shows?

Thanks man glad I can contribute when I can I love this game as I'm the biggest fan of your guy's networks. I just love watching your studios grow as NITRO has a lot of great history. For all of the past players who quit too early, they'll never find another entertainment industry game as deep and as great as this one. I know RTN is regretting everyday that he quit.
Who knows about the logos, it wouldn't surprise me if they changed again but I would only find another font but leave the star logo alone that's perfect the way it is.
It should be interesting with the CSIs as they have had a shitty track record in NITRO but anything is possible though. Before you launch it cast it with a decent group that might be the key.
I feel like you guys are in a win win situation with your comedies you can do whatever you want and still be okay with the decision. As long as Laverne & Shirley and DJ Becky launch to blockbuster numbers you guys will be more than okay and then you guys got growing stars on the other comedies like Lindsey Visser on Bastard Kids, Eva Adams on Young Girls, Paris Jackson on Youth of Life, and all of the girls on Molly in South Philly. You guys are in a strong situation with your comedies for a long-time.
The drama situation is solid but can get better, obviously, the soaps are strong but the dramas still have some room to improve. I think Teen Angels is probably your second strongest drama after Who Wanted Nichole Dead? I agree about Viva Vice Vegas that should most definitely launch this season you guys need another procedural on the lineup that can get huge numbers. You should find another slot for Truck Ladies and keep that going that can easily be a good option for syndication.
Million Dolla Baby should go through before Lifeguards but let's see how We've Got Each Other does first.
I just really believe in Karate School that sounds like a huge hit and I like your scheduling plans for it already it should have no problems with that cast and concept launching well. Self-Defense was always a great concept just missed the cast and a good timeslot.

The new logos look awesome as I told Proxio privately how good these logos look when he made that one message about them being leaked. I echo that they look really clean and the new Punky logo looks fun too. It looks like a badass version of Punky Brewster. I expect Punky to be a pretty successful streaming service.
I hope the age of the young CEOs don't comeback to haunt them because it seems like Paige is struggling a little bit in her role.
ICE you might have to keep the new Heather spin-off for yourself as Janit O'Day seems to be showing some age. Kelly's Thugs is still looking pretty strong but you guys need some new blood as Pretty Thieves is doing pretty well on ROD and I think Heather will do really well this season on NBC. You guys look very good with comedies right now so maybe you can sell off Youth of Life.
Laverne & Shirley is a sure hit with Bridget Satterlee in it and I agree that this will help Nancy Nery.
ICE I was reading the Viva Vice Vegas project this sounds like Teen Angels so this should be rushed into series for sure.
dstiles I agree with you bro that Karate School looks special and can be a blockbuster hit and I think Self-Defense can straighten itself out with a better cast attached to it.
I can't wait to see how Madonna and Britney Spears does in the ratings possible ratings records.

Paige is doing fine but it has been a bit of struggle for her when it comes to containing this roster so I feel you Blood Boxing with the young age concerns.
ICE will have a tough decision to make with those Janit O'Day shows.
I'm glad you see Karate School as a huge hit like I do as I can't wait to see how that performs now.

i can't wait to see the streaming network and streaming service numbers personally especially overtime as I think Punky can be really successful for ICE
you guys really love that Karate School project and it does sound good but I'm most interested in both the Laverne & Shirley reboot and the Viva Vice Vega$ projects those are actually gonna be huge hits because if Viva Vice Vega$ is cast well that can be the next Dallas Cowgirls Undercover and Laverne & Shirley can be the next Rachel or DJ Becky
i think there's going to be a lot of pressure on We've Got Each Other to do better than Star 80 since Star 80 really hasn't done that bad but its been the worst rated of the ICE soaps to start the season

I will be recapping some of ICE's Press Conference but it won't be anywhere near as detailed as this as I will only point out of some key news here and summarize it in a quick fashion and I will also be recapping tonight's Team ICE Meeting. I haven't decided just yet which will be out first the ratings for primetime or the recaps. I will work on them today after I finish up the results for Tuesday's Fashion Pics which will be out today.
After all of this is done then I will start work on the streaming network and shopping network ratings and cap the day with Wednesday's fashion results and we'll be moving onto Thursday officially.

that sounds awesome Proxio as i'm really looking forward to hearing what happened at that Team ICE meeting as i know the girls were on fire
i also want to see the streaming network numbers as i expect them to be much lower than what the big 3 typically get in daytime or primetime

I'm pretty comfortable with our latest set of logos but they'll probably get touched up a bit in the future but these ICE logos are looking very clean like you guys were saying and I like them a lot. The star logos are beast I just saw it in Proxio's graphic with Wednesday's lineup and it looked way better than ours. I like the drawings as well with the ICE Starlets and Punky logos as well. Nice job ICE!
I can never do a press release like this I'm too lazy lmfao but this was impressive especially all of the information about the streaming network. We're going to do our own as well too but that will be way into the future though but the secondary network will be here sometime during November Sweeps. We'll probably bring back WCN the West Coast Network or call it the Lucy Hale Network so LHN.
To be honest I'd rather face Star 80 than a new soap because I know what to expect from Star 80 most days except when its lead-ins are huge so I'm nervous there. Thomas Forrester will be a big hit but I'm curious about this Touch Me When We're Dancing pilot....
The Vegas crime drama and Old West Ways sound promising so ICE if you don't want to air that on your network we'll take it and we need a new comedy we're struggling so I'd love to have that Youth of Life spin-off
I want more Baywatch type shows so if Panic at Malibu Pier becomes a series sell that us too lmao i'm dead serious though ICE talk to me in private about these shows
I was talking to ICE recently about taking Self-Defense back but since he upgraded his plans for it he gets to keep it as I want to see that drama successful.

Hailee Steinfeld: Oh boy those two fucking knuckleheads Bridget Satterlee and Nancy Nery actually have their own comedy now?
Koy Jung: Hailee the bad part about it is that they're going to fuck up Laverne & Shirley one of my favorite comedies
Hailee Steinfeld: I know they gonna mess that legendary sitcom up like Terri messed up Rachel....
Rena Sofer: Hey Thomas! How come Liam didn't answer you about crossing over with Thomas Forrester? That was rude....

It sounds like Viva Vice Vegas is going to premiere faster than ICE initially said it would but the question is what night it airs on now?
Also, sounds like there's some trouble brewing between Charlotte McKinney and Lucy Hale.
Lucy Hale is having some problems with her actors and it's growing too but Charlotte will learn not to mess with Jethro's people like Lucy.

I think they should put Viva Vice Vegas either on Tuesdays or Wednesdays but they will need to move The Wrong Students which probably fits in better with the Janit O'Day shows. If they can move Janit O'Day to Punky and insert The Wrong Students in that lineup that might work for them.
ICE's soap plans for daytime had me thinking about my own I gotta figure out the best slot for my newest soap that I'm trying to get off the ground hopefully at some point soon.
Yeah it's likely Charlotte is going to leave us and we do have problems with Lucy and some of her actresses so we'll see how it plays out the rest of the season.

ICE should consider pairing Viva Vice Vega$ with Teen Angels and moving The Wrong Students with the Tuesday Psycho Bitch dramas
ROD you should program a 2pm soap to go against Another World or a 12pm to go against Pyper America as the only two soaps to avoid are Staying Alive and Youthful Daydreamers
i think Lucy has a growing problem and it's going to go beyond Charlotte McKinney with her ego

ROD I actually like your logos you should keep those for a while just clean them up a little bit in the future but no major changes to them.
It took me like 3-4 weeks to finish this press release I got most of it done the week before I posted it though so it didn't have to take that long but it definitely took a while. I'll only be doing these types of press releases once in a while.
We're working on a timeslot for Viva Vice Vega$ as I gotta monitor The Wrong Students numbers closely. I wanna move Janit O'Day over to Punky by November Sweeps that's the plan there overall as I want Janit O'Day with the Crossing Jordan reboot and CSI: Norwood lineup.
ROD we'll talk about Panic at Malibu Pier but I wanna see how that mini-series does in the ratings first.

Kya Summers (Co-CEO): HEY DON'T FUCK WITH LUCY OR JETHRO!!!
Kendall Jenner: Look at Lucy having fucking trouble with Charlotte now you're a hot mess.
Bella Hadid: Charlotte just come to ICE it's fun here I enjoyed my first day at work today.
Kara Del Toro: ICE is amazing Charlotte, don't come work for that power abusing bitch who only cares about herself. FUCK LUCY!!!

DJ Becky's Theme Song:

Post by dstiles on Mar 27, 2021 15:21:58 GMT -6
ICE if I was doing the schedule I'd run it like this:
ICE Tuesday 8pm Fugitive at 17 9pm The Wrong Students 10pm Kelly's Thugs 11pm Chicago's Most Dangerous Bitch
ICE Wednesday 8pm Teen Angels 9pm Viva Vice Vega$ 10pm Laverne & Shirley 10:30pm Bastard Kids 11pm DJ Becky 11:30pm Angry Landlords
Punky Thursday 8pm Crossing Jordan 9pm CSI: Norwood 10pm Janit O'Day
What do you think of that ICE?

TORONTO, ONTARIO - OCTOBER 3: ICE held their huge Press Conference today to update us on what's ahead on their networks going into November Sweeps. Paige Van Buren hosted the press conference and gave the media at Paramount Hall in downtown Toronto all of the details that they were looking for as they covered this event.
After ICE revealed their new slew of logos they went over the specifics of their new streaming service that's going to be called Punky Power named after the hit legendary 80s sitcom Punky Brewster just like their new streaming network that launched today the Punky Television Network. Punky Power will be ICE's owned and operated streaming service so that ICE can control their own streaming operations and not rely heavily on third-party streaming platforms to handle their programming's streaming options. Punky Power will be fully ready with all features and their full library available on Sunday February 3rd, 2019.
ICE is using their own measurement firm to supply their streaming numbers on a daily basis similar to NBC with Netflix and Hulu right now and they will post their numbers after the streaming network ratings are in.
Also debuting on Wednesday will be the new 24/7 shopping network Jordache Jeans Shopping Network (JJSN) where ICE customers can buy merchandise from the studio such as items from the network, fashion items mainly from the Jordache Jeans fashion brand, and other items. The network according to ICE sources will be 70% fashion items and 30% non-fashion items sold. There will be live hosts on the telecast all 24 hours of the day.
(from left to right, top to bottom) Ashley Jones, Isabelle Fuhrman, Elliot Knight, Rebecca Budig, Riley Smith, Taylor A. Purdee Katelyn MacMullen, Dominic Zamprogna, Kelly Thiebaud, Tajh Bellow, Haley Pullos, Lexi Ainsworth
ICE SOAP PLANS
ICE ended up releasing their soap plans from their new Soaps Coordinator Ashley Jones who plays Bridget on The Bold and the Beautiful and their new Drama Coordinator Tequan Richmond released plans on all of their new drama projects that will be ready for a premiere inside of this current season.
Matthew Atkinson's new primetime soap Thomas Forrester which is another nighttime soap featuring Bold and the Beautiful characters like ROD's Steffy Forrester, Quinn Fuller, and Sheila Carter and then NBC's newest drama Liam Spencer. Thomas Forrester will center around several characters in his life and some characters that haven't been in the picture on B&B in a while. Right now characters from Thomas Forrester will be featured in the big November Sweeps crossover event between Steffy, Quinn, Sheila, Who Wanted Nichole Dead, and All My Children then the show itself should be ready to premiere sometime in January or February according to ICE sources.
Another project that ICE fans have had to wait a long-time for was Touch Me When We're Dancing which is the first scripted series from The Carpenters Hour franchise as this will be a new revolutionary live musical drama similar to ICE's newest blockbuster hit daytime soap opera Staying Alive. Staying Alive was an inspiration from this pilot project from the previous season using the same filming setup. Touch Me When We're Dancing will have a bigger budget but it's a similar project. Touch Me When We're Dancing will definitely be premiering inside of this season starting on Monday January 7th, 2019 before The Carpenters Hour.
For the daytime division, ICE has announced that a reboot of We've Got Each Other (2010-13) will replace Star 80 in their daytime soap lineup called Love in the Afternoon. Star 80 is not doing terribly in the ratings but ICE wants to do better in that slot with NBC and ROD having growing daytime lineups so instead Star 80 will be moving over to Punky to provide some original content on the new network and start a new soap lineup. ICE wants to do a late night soap lineup on Punky so Star 80 will be the centerpiece of that and another one of the current ICE soaps might be joining it. We've Got Each Other will be starring Haley Pullos and Tajh Bellow as the two lead characters and Lexi Ainsworth will be joining them. We've Got Each Other will be a half-hour soap airing right behind the daily soap genre talk show Love in the Afternoon Live at 1:30pm. ICE wants a balance of three 1-hour soaps and three half-hour soaps and it sounds like Youthful Daydreamers will reduce into being a half-hour soap once ICE gets a second soap into the lineup later in the season.
ICE has three other soaps in development that are ready to premiere later in the season in The Edge of Night reboot, another project named Lifeguards inspired from Baywatch and could be a rival to Sunset Beach, and another project based on the Grand Theft Auto video gaming franchise series. All three of these projects could be either a half-hour long or a full hour long.
Shelley Hennig (Heather) (Universal Television)
ICE DRAMA PLANS
Tequan Richmond also announced that a new Heather spin-off is in the works that likely won't come out until next season and there's a new Youth of Life spin-off coming out likely either in midseason or sometime next season but the dilemma right now is that it's not known what network they will air on since the Janit O'Day shows are very successful on ROD and NBC right now. Pretty Thieves is doing very well to start this new season over on ROD and Heather has been doing well since last season on NBC. Youth of Life is currently airing on ICE right now and is currently at the moment one ICE's top-rated sitcoms as the show has taken off thanks to stars like Paris Jackson leading the show.
ICE has said that it's likely that Janit O'Day will move to Punky to give that new network an established original program to run in primetime so that leaves a whole that could likely be occupied for the rest of the season by The Wrong Students which may have to move away from Teen Angels to give some room to the new pilot Viva Vice Vega$ which is set to premiere next month. ICE may opt to keep the Heather spin-off for themselves but we have no idea exactly what they're going to do there. If ICE's comedy situation has no problems then the Youth of Life spin-off may move to a competing network and ROD really could use a new hit comedy so maybe it lands there.
Whatever happens those two shows are in development and can be ready by midseason or they'll sit on the bench until next season.
ICE did announce a few new dramas as we just mentioned Viva Vice Vega$ which is a Teen Angels spin-off and a Vega$ reboot project focusing on the young version of Tammy Angel being transferred with her main partner to Las Vegas to work in their police department's vice division. ICE says it will be Farah Holt and Tammy Oldehoff moving over to Viva Vice Vega$ so expect both shows to air next to each other come next month. This is a promising young project that can be a huge hit for ICE. The Wrong Students is off to a fast start this season so it will be hard to move that show but it's likely ICE will make this move to ensure that Viva Vice Vega$ succeeds out of the gate but Viva Vice Vega$ could also air next to Truck Ladies which will also have a new timeslot as ICE has to make room for Touch Me When We're Dancing on Mondays this winter for a few months. It's highly unlikely that Truck Ladies will take anytime extensive time off since the show wants to get to syndication and have enough episodes stacked up. We think it's highly unlikely that Viva Vice Vega$ will move with Truck Ladies since Truck Ladies will stay on Mondays until the holiday break.
ICE has another pilot called Old West Ways which sounds like a partner for Truck Ladies as this is a nighttime soap slash western mainly a western that brings that particular genre back to the forefront in a modernized fashion. The series has been described as a new version of Dallas so this could be a hot series depending on casting and timeslot. Paige Van Buren really wants to bring the western genre to NITRO viewers so this will be a very important project for her network.
ICE will also be bringing their own version of the mystery movies anthology series that NBC aired back in the 70s featuring hits like Columbo, McCloud, and McMillan & Wife. Their first series in the wheel series set will be called Jane starring Alyssa Lynch and just like Viva Vice Vega$ this is expected to premiere next month at some point. ICE will introduce the other series that will be joining Jane at a later date. This will not be a weekly series as it will air on a special basis all season long. The series are presented somewhat as 90 minute movies that are produced by Paramount Pictures.
Speaking of movies, ICE introduced some of their upcoming Scary ICE features with the first one being a wrap-up to the Hospitality series with the long-awaited sequel as the new series on NBC will actually be launching before the movie comes out this Halloween. Originally ICE has planned for Hospitality II to premiere before the new series went into production and aired on NITRO Television but because of the long 5 year hiatus in NITRO those plans changed and now the series will be coming out before the movie. A lot of the answers from the first movie will be answered in the TV series making the movie a little bit obsolete as the movie was actually filmed in 2016 so it was not updated at any point.
Girl Games 3 will also be coming out as the horror favorite premieres later this month as well but the biggest announcement from ICE came regarding two potential movies being served as television drama pilots starting with the mini-series Panic at Malibu Pier which is a remake of a storyline from the original Baywatch pilot back in 1989 featuring a young Madchen Amick as a crazy bitch stalking the lifeguard who saved her life after she tried to commit suicide on the pier. ICE says it could serve as a backdoor pilot to their new daytime soap Lifeguards or a primetime series itself featuring the Lauren Harris character. We'll see what happens with the future of the movie but it will start out as a two-part mini-series probably the first mini-series of the season on NITRO Television. Another pilot could be Black Magic Sisters which will start out as a TV Movie as this originally was going to be a movie that was going to be seen on the big screen in theaters but the NITRO shutdown prevented it from getting produced. Black Magic Sisters will now be seen on the small screen inside of the Scary ICE run during Halloween season later this month.

COMEDY SERIES PLANS
ICE Phederation Comedy Coordinator Mia Serafino then presented the comedy plans as we already went over the Youth of Life spin-off which might be a parody of Kelly's Thugs but they also covered DJ Becky in more depth as that show premieres tonight. The biggest announcement was clearly regarding the huge reboot of Laverne & Shirley which is going to star ICE's biggest rookie so far Bridget Satterlee who will play Laverne and her sidekick Nancy Nery who will play Shirley. This comes off the heels of NBC announcing yesterday their plans to reboot I Love Lucy calling it I Love Lucy: Reloaded with Debra Messing playing Lucille Ball's character. This is an exciting set of reboots coming to NITRO Television very soon.
Laverne & Shirley will be a full update but set in modern times and will setup a potential redo of the failed Joanie Loves Chachi series both coming from the Happy Days franchise and according to ICE they are not rebooting Happy Days or Mork & Mindy so they're only concentrating on Laverne & Shirley and Joanie Loves Chachi set in current day Milwaukee while Joanie Loves Chachi might take place in nearby Chicago like the original series. Laverne & Shirley will still center on two young girls with blue collar jobs at the brewing company. The series is seen as a great vehicle for both Bridget Satterlee and Nancy Nery to elevate their careers to the next level.
Laverne & Shirley will be premiering on ICE as early as Wednesday November 7th, 2019 inside of that late night adult comedy block with DJ Becky and Bastard Kids.
The only other comedy announcement was the return of TGIF to NITRO as ICE's Friday comedy block will be using that moniker starting next Friday on October 12th, 2019.
SATURDAY MORNING PLANS
ICE is fully focused on cleaning up the mess that Saved By the Bell left this season with a new diss show led by their newest toy Madison Beer who will get a chance to diss her old studio NBC that drafted her on a weekly basis. The variety sketch comedy series will be setup a lot like Molly Ephraim's Molly in South Philly hit show with sketches making fun of NBC actors every week. We spoke further to ICE as they told us the show will debut on Friday November 2nd, 2018 at 8:30pm in Molly in South Philly's timeslot and air the second episode the following morning and episodes will be taped on Friday nights as it will not be taped live since Madison will be with her WFL team full-time the New York Hitmen on Saturday mornings either traveling or practicing.
That is the first part of ICE's process of replacing Saved By the Bell as the second part is their attempt to revive the martial arts genre by using their early season success from the live action half-hour dramas G.I. Jane and Tomb Raiders with Karate School starring Eva Adams, Ludi Lin, Dolph Lundgren, Irene Ko Park, Leo Howard, and a slew of other actors. Karate School will be a half-hour action drama as well about a bunch of students who take up self-defense classes to help fight off a local crime organization who is hell bent on destroying their community and families.
Karate School is a big project for ICE and could easily be a primetime series but ICE wants to target the teen and young adult audience for it as it will air right behind Madison Beer Disses NBC. Karate School is apart of Paige Van Buren's plan to retool Self-Defense which has been an epic failure in primetime for ICE on Thursdays to start the season as they have removed it from the lineup to improve it. Self-Defense itself will be revived and will stay on as an hour long drama but it will move to daytime and will air in primetime on Punky. Self-Defense will likely replace The Swimming Diaries and air right behind Karate School when it's ready. ICE says Self-Defense might not be ready until January as some of the big roster of players for Karate School will move into the Self-Defense project as ICE has hinted that Self-Defense might work as a related show to Karate School playing in the same universe and being a potential spin-off. ICE says this depends on the early success or not of Karate School because if Karate School is successful then they will make Self-Defense a spin-off.
ICE didn't report this in their press release but they told media members privately after the conference but they are organizing an animated lineup for Saturday mornings that will air on Punky as the original plan was to expand the Saturday morning block from the 10am start time to the 8am start time but with Punky in play now they'll focus on Punky with the animated programs and that keeps ICE branded as Teen ICE during the full lineup.
Madonna at the ICE Press Conference live at Paramount Hall in Toronto, Ontario on Wednesday October 3, 2018.
BRITNEY SPEARS & MADONNA
Last but not least was one of the biggest surprise announcements in NITRO history as ICE will have two legendary pop artists in Madonna and Britney Spears performing live on their network on a pair of Fridays during November Sweeps as Madonna will perform all day live from both Toronto to start her day then Detroit to end her night on Friday November 9th, 2018 and she will be performing with Gabrielle Shields on a couple of the singles they worked on since Gabby was in Paris with NBC. When Madonna was living in Paris she got to new know Gabby back then and started working on music with her and now they finally get a chance to unleash that music years later. November 9th is also Gabby's birthday so it's going to be a special day for her.
Britney Spears will perform with ICE on the same type of schedule starting in Toronto and traveling cross country to San Francisco to perform live on New Girls in Town Pageant. Britney Spears will perform as apart of ICE's Black Friday theme where they'll debut their new black logo as they're saying that Britney Spears will do a blackout performance live in San Francisco that night with the lights completely turned off. We've only seen Britney in NITRO when her sister Jamie Lynn Spears first came into NITRO back in 2009 but we haven't seen her since then as Britney has never been a full-time or even a part-time player on a NITRO roster. We will finally see her that day.
ICE says they have more performers planned to fill up the Friday November 16th, 2018 and Friday November 30th, 2018 dates also as they are rumored to have a Boy Band and Girl Group from the 90s and 2000s day planned as well. ICE will give more info on that later.
That will do it for now as we are going to report next how ICE's meeting early Wednesday evening went for them as Kyla Ray and Kya Summers introduced themselves officially to the ICE roster before everybody went over to Paramount Hall for tonight's big live comedy tapings.

good music posted here and nice job on the recap Proxio
Friends used "I'll Be There For You" so that's perfect to use the Spice Girls classic for the DJ Becky theme since that's apart of the Toronto's Friends franchise
i like dstiles idea to know what the theme songs will be for each NITRO program and maybe make a game out of it like you guys did with the fashion pics

ICE if I was doing the schedule I'd run it like this: ICE Tuesday 8pm Fugitive at 17 9pm The Wrong Students 10pm Kelly's Thugs 11pm Chicago's Most Dangerous Bitch ICE Wednesday 8pm Teen Angels 9pm Viva Vice Vega$ 10pm Laverne & Shirley 10:30pm Bastard Kids 11pm DJ Becky 11:30pm Angry Landlords Punky Thursday 8pm Crossing Jordan 9pm CSI: Norwood 10pm Janit O'Day What do you think of that ICE? i'm feeling this schedule dstiles except Tuesday could use some changes as they have to construct that schedule around Rachel so whatever goes at 9p has to either be their strongest drama or their weakest one no in between on Thursdays i'd consider Janit O'Day at 9p and CSI: Norwood at 10p so Crossing Jordan stays in the lead-off position but we'll see what ICE says and does later
