WFL PRIMETIME SCORES
Tampa Sol 42 (1-0) @ Dallas Cowgirls 48 (1-0)Carmela Russo (LB) (Tampa Sol) @ Chase Carter (RB) (Dallas Cowgirls)at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas Game Time: 8:30 PM EST (7:30 PM CST/Local Time) Game Weather: 79 °F, partly cloudy (roof open) Game Attendance: 104,080 TV Announcers (NBC): Al Michaels (play-by-play), Cris Collinsworth (color commentator) Game Summary: Malena Morgan and her high-powered Tampa Bay offense travels down to Big D to take on the Dallas Cowgirls in their home opener on Sunday Night Football. This game marks the first official game for Dallas' prized free agent acquisition "The Red Rifle" Elle Alexandra at home and rookies Chase Carter, Meredith Mickelson, Hannah Davis, Abby Champion, and Head Coach Audrey Krag. It's the classic Malena Morgan vs. Elle Alexandra star QB matchup as these are two of the best quarterbacks in the league right now. Sunday Night Football got themselves an overtime thriller in primetime as the Cowgirls edged the Sol in overtime 48-42 as this became a shootout between the two star quarterbacks Malena and Elle. This old west shootout featured Malena Morgan getting 522 yards and 6 touchdowns for her team and Elle Alexandra had more help in the ground game getting 415 yards and 5 touchdowns in this game including a game winning touchdown pass to Abby Champion on the second drive in overtime. Helping Elle on the ground was Chase Carter who had a monster game as well with 222 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns off of 19 carries in this game. Chase Carter was ready to deliver in this game while receivers Abby Champion and Meredith Mickelson combined for 300 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns together between the two. Devin Reyes made his WFL debut as the males were able to start playing this week and he had a great game out of the gate as he got 7 tackles in this game along with 2.5 sacks and 5 tackles for losses he was an absolute monster in this game. For Tampa they competed well but fell short as running back Patricia Nery was getting attacked from Devin Reyes all game long but still got more than 100 rushing yards on the ground and wideout Riley Reid who plays receiver had a great game as she amassed 179 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns in this game for the Sol. There wasn't a whole lotta of defense in this game but the star for Tampa Bay had to be their franchise middle linebacker Carmela Russo who had 16 tackles in this game along with 1.5 sacks, 3.5 tackles for losses, and two interceptions off of Elle Alexandra including one in overtime on Dallas' first interception as Dallas was actually ready to score on that draft until Mela saved the day for her team but Tampa couldn't convert her pick into points unfortunately. The Dallas Cowgirls are looking pretty great to start this new season as they are 2-0 and Tampa who has been involved in two thrillers will go to 1-1 needing a win next week to get back over .500 for their team. Players of the GameElle Alexandra (QB) (DAL): 33/46 (71.7% PCT), 415 yards, 5 TD, 2 INTMalena Morgan (QB) (TB): 39/57 (68.4% PCT), 522 yards, 6 TD, 1 INT Arizona Desert 9 (0-1) @ Vancouver Grizzlies 21 (1-0)Kalani Hilliker (WR) (Arizona Desert) @ Irene Ko Park (WR) (Vancouver Grizzlies)at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia Game Time: 11:07 PM EST (8:07 PM PST/Local Time) Game Weather: Indoors Game Attendance: 54,500 TV Announcers (ICE): Rachel G. Fox (play-by-play), Briana Evigan (color commentator), Kourtney Kellar (color commentator) Game Summary: This late night affair pins Kalani Hilliker and her Arizona Desert looking for their first win of the season after losing a close one to Dallas on Monday Night Football last week against Alina Kirchiu and the Vancouver Grizzlies in their home opener. Vancouver Grizzlies Head Coach Paloma Kwiatkowski leads a very talented team featuring Deborah Jo Wood, Alyssa Lynch, Alina Kirchiu, Irene Ko Park, Gia Radionova, Hin Lin Ly, Yara Khmidan, and Dasha Dereviankina. Vancouver is one of those teams right now that can come up hard in that NFC division as they have so much talent in great threats on both sides of the football like Irene Ko Park on that offense and Alina Kirchiu on that defense. The problem for the Grizzlies now and this is a new problem for them is the NITRO trade is coming up and hometown kid Dasha Dereviankina is likely leaving this team either for one of the ROD teams on the West Coast that's in this division or one of the NBC teams out on the East Coast in the other conference. Dasha's teammate Alina Kirchiu is reportedly furious at Dasha for forcing her way out of ICE and this could be a problem until the day Dasha is off this team in a few weeks from now. Alina and Dasha were the main reason why the Grizz won their season opener last week in New Zealand so this week could be a challenge with Arizona coming into town coming off a close loss to Dallas on Monday Night Football last week. Now, what's amazing about this Vancouver Grizzlies football team is that they've got two growing young stars on the team in Alina Kirchiu and Irene Ko Park and you can feel the optimism from the Pheds about these two new ICE rookies potentially being the two chosen to replace their future ex-teammate Dasha Dereviankina. Just like a lot of the stars in the WFL these two opening weeks of the season they're experiencing their first ever home openers and for some their first opportunity to play in their hometowns. Dasha, Alina, and Irene are all being able to play their first home games in Vancouver where they grew up along with Gia Radionova and Yara Khmidan. With all of the drama going on with Dasha, this is not a comfortable home opener tonight. This turned out to be a very low scoring game as the Grizzlies won their home opener 21-9 to improve to 2-0 on the season while Arizona will, unfortunately, move onto 0-2 but for both teams they found out in these first two weeks that their defenses are very good. For Grizzlies Defensive Coordinator Tabitha Jones, her defense only gave up 9 points in this game and it was all field goals so they kept Arizona completely out of the endzone in this game. Alina Kirchiu, Alyssa Lynch, Dasha Dereviankina, and Gia Radionova really got after it on the defensive end for the second straight week. Alina Kirchiu who plays cornerback on this team was the clear star of this game and she had the duties of stopping one of the better up and coming receivers in the game in Kalani Hilliker from the Desert and she completely frustrated her in this game only allowing her to catch 2 balls on her for 42 yards. Alina was a machine getting 8 tackles, a sack, and two interceptions with one of those interceptions being picked off for a touchdown. It was just an elite level performance from Alina in this game as the key was taking Kalani Hilliker and she did just that which allowed her to completely takeover this game. Alyssa Lynch played opposite of her at the other corner spot and she had an addition 6 tackles on that side of the football and added a key sack as the corners were really active in this game. Dasha Dereviankina didn't have an amazing game like she had the week before but she did enough at safety to hold things up for them defensively. Gia Radionova who plays linebacker had 9 tackles with 2.5 tackles for a loss but no sacks. Gia still did enough to be everywhere on the field in this game. It was a proud display for her defense no doubt about it as they really took care of their job in this game allowing the offense led by Deborah Jo Wood to attack although Arizona's defense got enough stops to keep the score low but Irene Ko Park was the story on that side of the football as she had 12 catches for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns. Irene Ko Park is really starting to come into her as she's another one of these fast receivers in the league like Kay Shields who can burn a defense and she did just that for her coach Paloma Kwiatkowski. Arizona Desert's Sarah Simmons had 13 tackles herself in this game and grabbed two sacks on Deborah Jo Wood so she was the lone bright spot for the Desert. Players of the GameAlina Kirchiu (CB) (VAN): 8 tackles, 1 sack, 2 INT, 1 TDSarah Simmons (LB) (ARZ): 13 tackles, 0.5 TFL, 2 sacks Las Vegas Dice 36 (1-0) @ Anaheim Oranges 24 (1-0)Kelly Love (CB) (Las Vegas Dice) @ Xenia Deli (WR) (Anaheim Oranges)at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim, California Game Time: 11:07 PM EST (8:07 PM PST/Local Time) Game Weather: 76 °F, clear Game Attendance: 52,800 TV Announcers (ROD): Spero Dedes (play-by-play), Adam Archuleta (color commentator) Game Summary: In a late night showdown between two West Coast foes we have Aisha Williams and the Las Vegas Dice leading her team to Southern California to take on Xenia Deli and the Anaheim Oranges in the Oranges home opener. Both teams come into this game coming off very impressive season opening wins last week as they both blew out their opponents as the Dice blew away the Atlanta Legacies 41-9 who ended up winning their game on Saturday against the New Zealand Kiwis while the Oranges blew away the Houston Oilers 35-14 last week down in H-Town so that means that both teams come in red hot and somebody's gotta lose. The Aisha Williams led Las Vegas Dice were able to grab a very surprising win on the road in Anaheim as they won this game 36-24. Head Coach Rachel Mortenson called a very good game for her defensive as they were really able to stop Anna Herrin who didn't duplicate a performance quite like she had last week as Anna was shy of 300 yards passing in this game. Kara Del Toro and Kelly Love were the two mainly responsible for this Vegas defense getting the job done as Kelly Love really shined this week having a similar performance that Alina Kirchiu had up in Vancouver tonight duplicating the same 8 tackles, had a couple of tackles for losses, 1 sack, and an interception. Kelly Love is shining a little bit for this defense. Kara Del Toro was on the edge and pressured Anna Herrin plenty of times in this game as Kara grabbed 6 tackles, 3.5 tackles for losses, and 3 sacks so she was a monster in this really getting into that Anaheim backfield. Suede Brooks, Kate Li Williams, and Jenny Sense all led the offense as Jenny Sense grabbed 14 receptions for 191 receiving yards in this game and got into the endzone at least 3 times in this game. Anaheim just couldn't find an answer in this game as Kelly Love really shutdown Xenia Deli which was the key in this game really getting into Xenia's head. With LA getting their first win of the season it looks like Anaheim will lose some attention from the SoCal media after this loss while Las Vegas has been impressive in their first two games improving to 2-0 on the young season. Players of the GameJenny Sense (WR) (LV): 14 receptions, 191 yards, 3 TDNia Seymour (RB) (ANA): 22 carries, 85 yards, 2 TD AMERICA'S TEAM THE DALLAS COWGIRLS HELPS NBC EDGE A VICTORY OVER ICE
For the second straight night in a row the WFL helped a non-ICE network deliver a super close victory ICE to win the night and it was NBC's turn to accomplish this feat getting a much needed win to tie ROD in the season network averages race and gain some points as they still look to capture ROD for 2nd place.
NBC led the night with Sunday Night Football which feature the Dallas Cowgirls helping another primetime network to a first place victory as the game garnered 180.22 million viewers. It was a matchup between two star quarterbacks in Malena Morgan of the Tampa Sol and Elle Alexandra of the Dallas Cowgirls as Elle Alexandra played in front of the Dallas fans for the first time since she signed to Big D as a free agent before the new season. Obviously this was a game with plenty of star power involved to help NBC capture it's highest ratings in network history. The 180 million viewers was only 20 million viewers shy of 200 million viewers and it wasn't the highest rated game of the day as that honor went to the New York Hitmen huge win over the Toronto Icegals in daytime earlier today over on ROD as that game capture over 190 million viewers.
Still with that being said this game did just enough to help Drama's Place get another round of sampling after the game and this time the daytime soap got 126 million viewers which was more than the 107 million viewers it got last week behind a lower lead-in. We'll see if Drama's Place can keep up its momentum in daytime this week as the show airs at 6am in the morning on NBC. Marnette Patterson (The ICE Phederation), Pretty Thieves (Paramount Television) (ROD-TV) (Channel 5)
NEW GIRLS IN CHICAGO BRINGS IN THE NUMBERS
ICE came in second place as the New Girls in Town audition tour hit Chicago's United Center the house that Michael Jordan built as the pageant looked for some new talent out of Chicago and Cindy Bryant led the Chicago auditioners as we expect a few of the talent who auditioned here to make to the live shows this season and get those in he competition. The NGIT Pageant grabbed 165.77 million viewers which was almost 20 million viewers more than last week's auditions in New York City but this Sunday edition was way down from Friday's auditions in Detroit which grabbed a new NITRO record in the ratings getting 217 million viewers. Women's Sports Club buffered between the pageant the WFL Late Night Football game.
The WFL Late Night Football game was the first on ICE this season and their game between the Arizona Desert and Vancouver Grizzlies beat ROD's late night affair in The O.C. head-to-head as obviously Vancouver's talent and storyline drama was enough to overcome ROD's game. ROD overall despite coming in third place had a pretty nice night with its drama lineup again as Pretty Thieves remains the big star getting 88 million viewers at 10pm for ROD.
Tomorrow night ROD can go from worst to first as they will have Monday Night Football again after their new top hit of the season Dallas Cowgirls Undercover which reached over 140 million viewers last week. For ICE, The Carpenters Hour auditions are in Chicago at historic Chicago Theater in the downtown part of the city and it's expected that we will get the first male Shields sibling auditioning for that show and that will air after the new hit Truck Ladies which has done well the first three weeks of the season and Overnight Nurses closing the night. NBC is running with the One Chicago franchise slew of repeats with NBC Stars After Dark closing the night. NBC might not have much going on in primetime tomorrow but their real-life drama is the show as Tempestt Bledsoe has her official first day as NBC's new General Manager as we have Madison Beer threatening not to return to Paris for work and Kyla Ray starts tomorrow as ICE Co-CEO as well and Jethro Grantham will have a meeting with Simon Cowell to decide if he will cash in on his ownership to be given to Jethro or not.

It was another WFL Sunday but unlike the previous Sunday which was the opening week of the new season this week was filled with storylines that progressed over this past week in the newest version of the NITRO War and various studio drama such as Madison Beer who was #2 who plans on rebelling against her boss Tempestt Bledsoe this week after achieving the biggest upset victory in WFL history over the Toronto Icegals who was #1 overall as people were searching for how this talented team lost. Toronto Icegals receiver Lindsey Visser is starting to become an elite name in NITRO in the past few days and she had an amazing receiving performance despite the loss but she seems to be in the middle of a potential quarterback battle between her and her teammate Ophelie Guillermand who could be traded by ICE in the next couple of weeks. Lindsey's teammate Paris Jackson has been trending lately as well as she placed 18th probably for hanging out with Madison Beer before the game during a tailgate session with the fans.
Kay Shields (#3) in her first full season in use here in NITRO has already become a major superstar to go with her sister Strawberry Shields (#8) as the two sisters achieved an incredible accolade in the WFL as they were the first sister tandem in professional sports to connect for 7 touchdowns between each other for the Seattle in their 63-0 blanking of the New Originals. Their rival sister Allison Shields over in Paris was placed at #7 as she returned to their home in Detroit for a daytime affair with the Detroit Fury and although her team lost she was still the main story of this game. The Detroit Fury trended nicely after this win as a team they were 9th and their star rookie QB Janet Moore who had a big game was placed at #12 for her big performance and overtime clincher.
Jordache Jeans trends for the third straight day in a row as the popular set of jeans continues to catch people's attention and all day on Sunday the athletes were wearing Jordache Jeans on the field and commercials were played heavily on all three networks heavily all day all night long. There's an on running joke on social media right now about how the fashion company has been super aggressive in the way they overplay their ads in seemingly almost every commercial break on NITRO Television since Wednesday night. The ad strategy has worked as Jordache Jeans has had a very successful launch this weekend and they trended at #4 right over New Girls in Town Pageant at #5 who held their auditions in Chicago on Sunday night.
Although Bridget Satterlee wasn't on the field on Sunday she still has been hot enough to be in the top 10 right at #10 and her new growing nemesis Vika Bronova was 11th after suffering a bad loss to Talia Scoggins (#19) and the Boston Hoods early Sunday evening as her team trended #13 as their loss was pretty embarrassing and had their fans fuming and the drama on the team was sparked up on Sunday night. Speaking of team drama we have some up in Vancouver as the Grizzlies despite a 2-0 start had some drama on the sideline late on Sunday night when teammates Alina Kirchiu (#15) and Dasha Dereviankina (#20) got into it forcing Alina to punch the lights out of Dasha who she blames for getting herself into a position of being traded. Obviously that drama has heated up as people want to know how Dasha will do with her teammates after this fight now.
Lastly possibly a future trade piece with Dasha Dereviankina might be Eva Adams who was #16 as she's becoming one of the hottest names on the defensive side of the football in the entire league. Eva Adams home is in Norwood right now where the brand new Air Canada Park (#14) opened up this month but she might be calling Vancouver home pretty soon. Air Canada Park trended as a stadium today which was unique. Lastly the Sunday Night Football attraction known as the Dallas Cowgirls trended in the top 20 at #17 as the competition in the top 20 was so much that it was the only element of the game that trended in the top 20 on Sunday.

I had a feeling we would see a high-scoring shootout between Tampa Bay and Dallas but I think it came down to had more horses and Dallas has more horses than Tampa at this point in time.
The Vancouver Grizzlies are becoming one of the more interesting teams in the league they've got some really great talent and I can't wait to see how Eva Adams fits in. Dasha Dereviankina like we talked about before is in for a week of hell.
I was surprised that Vegas came into Anaheim and won that game but this Vegas team might be for real because Anaheim is a really good team and for Kelly Love to shutdown Xenia Deli like that was surprising.
Ratings wise it looks like ICE has been getting beat by the WFL as I haven't seen them not come in 1st place on two consecutive nights in a really long-time as I don't think it happened this season yet. NBC got some much needed points on ROD and Drama's Place was a huge difference as well behind Sunday Night Football as it's done pretty well the last two weeks. We'll see how Drama's Place does in daytime this week as it can't get the SNF boost every week so this is its chance to step up even more. ICE was actually solid so Drama's Place was the difference it was just high enough to hold off ICE.
ROD was solid too but Eight Is Enough and Baywatch face way too much competition as I think they would be a little higher than in different slots as they're doing well in my eyes not high but solid enough and Pretty Thieves is the real star of this lineup.

I said it before and I'll say again I'd be shocked if Simon Cowell gave Jethro Grantham ownership there's no way in hell Simon cashes in right now so Jethro is going to have to go to Plan B but there will be some protests in Paris tomorrow in my opinion.
I also don't think Madison Beer is showing up for work tomorrow but I know Tuesday night is a big night for NBC so maybe she'll show up then.

Eva Adams on the Vancouver Grizzlies would be epic that defense would be nice.
I just heard some news that Madison Beer is going to ICE. HOLY SHIT!

Tampa and Dallas will be good all year but they don't have enough players to compete against the elite teams at the top of the league
Vancouver is going to be a fun team to follow especially when Eva Adams comes into replace Dasha Dereviankina and Las Vegas is a team to keep an eye on
WFL is making a huge difference in these primetime victories but ICE has finished outside of first place 5 times in the past 7 nights, they only won on Wednesday and Friday so things are getting tight
Madison Beer at ICE will be crazy

I wonder how badly this affects Norwood if Eva Adams goes to Vancouver?
I have noticed that we haven't been in 1st place that much this past week, we had a ton of 1st place victories up until this past week. I think because of all of the action in NITRO it's really boosted up the other networks and there's been some great primetime matchups in the WFL the past two nights. I'm not too worried overall though because we're right there in 2nd place and the star power from my girls are growing so they'll lift some of these programs even more.
It looks like Madison Beer was trying to feel out NBC but changed her mind on them and wanted to finally come to ICE.

Star power is getting big all over the place and the ratings are bigger for all networks because of it so I think things are starting to even out here.
Madison Beer at ICE is different from Madison Beer at NBC she's gonna be way different at ICE because the handcuffs are off now.
