A VISIT BY THE BOSS IGNITES TRACY KIMMELL LIVE TO 34 MILLION VIEWERS
ICE scored another daytime victory but their lineup was way softer in the numbers compared to the previous couple of weekdays back on Friday and Monday. Tahj & Arielle AM was still pretty hot though scoring 41 million viewers as the hit morning radio show got a visit from ICE's boss Paige Van Buren to update the viewers at home watching what's going on in her studio as her rookie actresses are turning on one another very slowly. ICE's soap block cooled off as well as Staying Alive slipped all the way down to 43 million viewers but it wasn't a series low like it got the previous Tuesday. Youthful Daydreamers would go onto catch the highest ratings in all of daytime on Tuesday as no program reached 50 million viewers. ROD had a pretty good Tuesday as most of their original programming was over 20 million viewers except for the now dead Hunter & Kacey which was announced on yesterday's show that Friday's episode is going to be the last one for the very successful morning variety and talk show. Since Hunter & Kacey was a very successful show for ROD and a lot of times the highest rated in their whole daytime lineup most days until Tracy Kimmell Live premiered a couple of weeks ago it was an odd decision from Lucy Hale, Shenae Grimes, and Daytime President Jacqueline MacInnes Wood but the reasoning behind the decision was that ROD wanted to focus more on their daytime soap roster and cut down on the number of talk shows since they had already cut The Midday Show very quietly last week. ROD is planning on redoing its whole daytime lineup sometime in late October before November Sweeps as they are targeting Monday October 22nd, 2018 as the day they will rollout the new daytime lineup. Tracy Kimmell's new variety and talker was a huge motivator in this decision as well as they didn't feel the need for Hunter & Kacey anymore. Caitlin Stasey's Bullshit Mornings show had a nice turnout on Tuesday growing from Hunter & Kacey for the first time ever as she had ROD Knockout up and coming rookie star Hailee Steinfeld on the show. Caitlin Stasey said on her show today that having Hunter & Kacey out of the way will help her get better guests as well. ROD did announce they will be moving her show to 7am starting on Monday to replace Hunter & Kacey and keep Caitlin Stasey's show away from Tahj & Arielle which is clearly starting to heat up lately. Tracy Kimmell Live had the boss Lucy Hale on and the show scored a series-high 34 million viewers for ROD as everything was up in their lineup except for the soon to be cancelled Single at Fifty. ROD announced as well that Single at Fifty will be ending its run in a couple of weeks on Tuesday October 9th, 2018 as ROD is preparing to bulldoze their daytime block. ROD said they bought the show from Universal to kill it this season just like they did with ICE's Wild Taxi the season before back in September 2013. Another question will be if Sunset Beach keeps its slot in the lineup with these changes as ROD has not addressed it yet. NBC was also up a bit on Tuesday as Drama's Place new boost from Sunday's episode is keeping it up although it lost to a Dallas Cowgirls Undercover repeat as that show is starting to heat up over there at ROD. Fashion House is holding up as well and War Update was higher due to the Bridget Satterlee and Vika Bronova beef being covered. DEREK & ZENDAYA'S DANCE SHOWS ON THE WAY OUT AT NBC
More cancellation news has been confirmed as NBC's Selena Gomez and President Nick Robinson both have agreed to part ways with the struggling Zendaya Coleman and Derek Hough dancing variety shows as it's likely Tuesday's episode will be the last for Zendaya and Friday's episode will be the last for Derek. Derek's show really dragged down Anna Kendrick's Show several times this month as well. The positive news is that the network's new concert series Thank God It's Tuesday Music Show has been scoring some pretty solid numbers this week and this week was a test for it as it had the Team ICE lead-in to boost it last week. NBC continues to score on their classics as well which have improved from recent occupants as The A-Team and Rockford Files did almost 10 million viewers. Allison Shields looks like she still equals ratings as her turnout on Tuesday as she hosted Comedy Night Done Right to 28 million viewers easily leading the 7pm timeslot for her network. Speaking of Comedy Night Done Right the hit comedy lineup rolls out for the third time this season as the hottest new comedy of the season Rachel will air its fifth and final episode before Terri Shields joins the cast on Thursday night in one of the biggest cast additions in NITRO history so everybody's eyes will be on Rachel this Thursday and if it's able to surpass 130 million viewers or not as Terri's two younger sisters Strawberry and Kay seem to not think so but they work for the enemy over there at ICE so of course they would have a differing opinion. Speaking of ICE they are rolling out a brand new looking lineup as they are rolling out all three of their Janit O'Day shows tonight as Janit O'Day and Fugitive at 17 replace Team ICE which has been delayed to resume this February after the WFL season ends. Janit O'Day and Fugitive at 17 move from a challenging Thursday night to Tuesdays to be paired with Kelly's Thugs which was the first ever Janit O'Day spin-off that premiered back in 2012 reboot season. ROD continues with their country themed block of programming.

ICE was down but more than strong, ROD cancelling Hunter & Kacey was surprising but I understand it as I wonder what shifts to the 8:00am timeslot now? ROD is capable of competing with ICE or at least being higher in daytime so hopefully Lucy Hale puts together a good lineup with Jacqueline MacInnes Wood and Shenae Grimes. NBC's classic reruns are performing well over what they had before and their morning lineup is doing solid too.
It's no surprise that Shane Tovar is going to appear on I Love Lucy Hale this Friday over Molly in South Philly and I know Jake T. Austin is disappointed but ICE is super dangerous to go right now they got their rookies wanting to fight each other. Shane doesn't need to get caught up in all of that drama right now. I'm wondering how Molly counters this decision now on Friday. It seems like The YouTube Life cast isn't happy about it so I wonder what they will do on Friday as well.
It's going to be a bloodbath on Friday for sure.
