Linsey Godfrey (ICE Starlets), All My Children (ICE-TV) (Channel 7)
TORONTO, ON - One of the veterans of the studio Linsey Godfrey who has been working for ICE since 2010 says that she's been at ICE when the studio was not working from a high school facility until the summer of 2012 when their studio was burnt down by actors from rival studios mainly at that time SBC Universal actors and some defunct studios that helped burn their billion dollar studio to the ground. She says she's seen the ups and downs of her studio but she says the studio has been angry ever since their studio got burnt down and she feels like the owners Pat Devine and AnnaLynne McCord have created a culture at ICE that's been tough and gritty. She says the studio is paying back what SBC now NBC did back then and getting their revenge including Paige Van Buren who is motivated to make everyone's life on that NBC roster a living hell.
Linsey Godfrey has been back-and-forth between ICE and ROD as she worked for ROD back in 2012 for a little bit until Jessica Lowndes brought her back that summer and she returned officially in the fall of 2013 after NITRO's season was suspended back in 2012-13 for a NITRO War. Linsey Godfrey currently works weekdays on daytime soap All My Children and spends Friday nights this fall on Who Wanted Nichole Dead? in primetime's late night hours. Linsey also was on a few episodes of Sheila Carter last season and will work in one of the Sheila Carter soaps when she has a chance to later this season as All My Children actors are contracted to the Sheila Carter soap franchise at ROD in Los Angeles.
Linsey filled her time when NITRO was out finishing up her run on The Bold and the Beautiful in Hollywood and filming some TV movies for ICE that will air this season as both an actress and a behind the scenes role like executive producer, director, and writer.
The 30-year old Linsey Godfrey says when she first got to Toronto things were nothing like they were now. She says the ROD roster was much more tougher at that time but there were a few thugs on the roster but that number has increased when she got back to Toronto and is at an all-time high.
Linsey says since working at the high school she's noticed that there's been a full change as the roster is much younger these days and the actors have turned into thugs she says sometimes it's uncomfortable to be at but I am loyal to my owners Pat Devine, AnnaLynne McCord, and Kristian Alfonso so wouldn't want to abandon them as Lucy Hale really wants me to work for ROD full-time and I've thought about moving when my girl Jacqueline MacInnes Wood moved over to ROD a couple of years ago. I still have a great working relationship with ROD and can move over anytime I wanted to but I've become much more of mentor to the girls who work in soap operas on our network. Lately she's been working with the likes of Strawberry Shields and other young actors on Staying Alive behind the scenes getting them prepped in a short period of time to get ready to go for the real tapings that started back on Friday afternoon.
Linsey says that's her role now at ICE and she likes that part of her role but what she doesn't like is the culture she has to see everyday at ICE. Linsey comes in on Saturday afternoons because the studio is much more peaceful as the students are not at school and the young girls are away at practice for the WFL in their respective cities getting ready for the games the next day. Saturdays are the most quietest days at East York and she loves to come in that day and get work done. Linsey says she comes in on Sunday nights as well as some of the actors do some private rehearsals with each other to get ready for the new work week and it's even more quieter on Sunday nights. Linsey says Mondays-Fridays are chaotic as fuck at East York.
Linsey says it's like being at the big house and she means prison as East York is huge bigger than most colleges you will ever go to and there's a shit ton of graffiti on the walls of the school on the inside and outside she says that graffiti was not there when ICE first came to work at East York Academy back in 2012 and she says the school went from one of the best high schools in North America to one of the worst if not the worst. She says this year is the worst it's ever been as she says it's flat out not safe for anybody to be working there.
Linsey Godfrey says nobody fucks with her because they know she's an ICE Starlet as the ICE Starlets run the school and nobody fucks with them.
She honestly says she's getting sick of criminal activity every single day as she said she saw a kid get thrown down the stairs when the school day ended on Monday afternoon. She says that's one of the worst things she's ever seen including kids having sex in the bathrooms. She had to help breakup a fight earlier this morning in the bathroom and she says the place has an overall depressing feel to it. The place is old and breaking down as she says she doesn't know a more dangerous place to be at in the city of Toronto than East York Academy.
The bullying culture is really strong at ICE right now as she says what you've seen on TV today starting with that baseball game was pure bullying and intimidation tactics to scare off NBC and ROD. Also what you've seen in some of the sports on Team ICE later too.
Linsey Godfrey hates NBC but she says at least they have anti-bullying classes there that stuff is not even preached at ICE at all as you will see somebody getting bullied every 10 minutes where she's at no doubt about it.
Linsey says it's so scary at East York Academy right now that she doesn't leave work until nighttime she says the earlier you leave the worse because of the students that hang around and gang bang on school grounds. It looks like a 3rd world country on the East York campus and she says Madison Beer was not bullshitting you guys she was telling the truth about what she experienced at East York. It's a straight circus and she says she's worried about the NBC and ROD players and what happens to them when they face Team ICE. She says the scariest day will be November 23rd when the whole NBC roster comes to play Team ICE for BOTNS she says that day will be a nightmare she doesn't even want to come into work that day she knows it will be that bad.
Linsey says one day she will make a movie on the culture here at East York and she somebody is already filming a documentary on the life at East York this school year.
