In the volleyball match we have a total of 5 sets that will be played and the first team to 3 victories wins the match.
To win a match each team must score a total of 25 points per game to get a set victory.
If it's tied at 2-2 the 5th and deciding match only need 15 points to determine a winner of the match.
VOLLEYBALL MATCH RESULTS
- Team ICE wins the first set to Sunrise 25 points to 20 points (East York leads 1-0) - Team ICE loses the second set to Sunrise 25 points to 23 points (Sunrise ties 1-1) - Team ICE loses the third set to Sunrise 25 points to 24 points (Sunrise leads 2-1) - Team ICE wins the fourth set to Sunrise 25 points to 9 points (East York ties 2-2) - Team ICE wins the fifth set to Sunrise 15 points to 6 points (East York wins 3-2) Team ICE who represents East York defeated Sunrise College Prep 3-2 with Lisa Grantham getting 26 kills in the match and Audreyana Williams was behind her with 18 kills in the match.
MATCH THOUGHTS
ICE was having all sorts of trouble against Sunrise in volleyball trailing the match 2-1 at one point in some close matches but ICE went on ahead to dominate the match from there sealing up a close 3-2 win on the road. Lindsay Hartley went with the same starting lineup but she made a lot of moves in this match trying to see what combination worked the best but we know for sure Audreyana Williams and Lisa Grantham is working. Eva Adams, Kaylee Bryant, and Paris Jackson was doing great work off the bench as Danielle Knudson struggled again so it will be interesting to see next week if Lindsay Hartley finally goes with a new starting lineup. Victoria Konefal and Alyssa Lynch who just joined the team recently looked looked a little better as the setter than Deborah Jo Wood so this volleyball team has some problems they need to workout.
The team is 2-0 the first two weeks so we'll see if they continue to win going forward.
ICE now has 4 victories on Sunrise heading into this evening's contests.

This volleyball team is overrated and a bit vulnerable I think I can stack a team together to beat this ICE team they barely got past Sunrise.

Lindsay Hartley seems to not know what she's doing if she continues to struggle she'll lose her job soon enough.
I think I would put Deborah Jo Wood in direct competition against Victoria Konefal and Alyssa Lynch, like give Victoria the start at setter next week and Alyssa the following week and see who's the best.
Danielle Knudson is a true disappointment she should definitely lose her job along with Rowan Blanchard.
The good news right now is that Lisa Grantham, Audreyana Williams, and Theresa Bush are doing very well there's three parts to build around right now.

LOL! This volleyball team ain't overrated and ROD there's no team that you can put together that will beat this team. We're just figuring things out and we'll get a strong player for Eva Adams whose going to play hockey now.
In order for Lindsay Hartley to be fired this season, she would need to lose at least two games.
I think we're going to start Alyssa Lynch next week at setter. If Victoria and Alyssa continue to do well I'll probably move Deborah Jo Wood to another sport.
Danielle Knudson really has been a disappointment I thought she would do better here.
Those are the three I'm building the team around with Lisa, Audreyana, and Theresa.
