ICE ADDS TO ALREADY STACKED YOUNG ROSTER
TORONTO, ON - Brand new ICE Phederation CEO Paige Van Buren was not playing around when she mentioned during training camp that she would be working closely with General Manager Frankie Beckham on reevaluating this brand new ICE roster. She is currently busy working with the NITRO Officials to put together this massive RTN trade that's still getting setup.
Just previously ICE as a staff made the decision to keep two of their undrafted rookies on the main roster in Jesse Anzalone and Marissa Robertson who were both eligible to be drafted in 2019 or 2020 and would have to compete in one of the NITRO draft competitions all season to graduate and become a NITRO active roster member. ICE decided not to make a mistake they made back in 2013 which almost cost them Janet Moore who was opted to compete in the New Girls in Town Pageant that season but actually that single move it ended up benefiting Janet Moore greatly because she was able to become the top prospect for that coveted deep game changing 2016 draft class. ICE would lose Janet Moore to RTN as they selected her first with their very choice of that draft but luckily for ICE things have changed a couple of years later and RTN shutdown their operation allowing Janet Moore to become an ICE Starlet this season and start her NITRO career with the Pheds as well.
It looks like ICE will avoid that with Jesse Anzalone and Marissa Robertson as both of them have had an impressive debut week here in NITRO on the ICE roster and they have been chosen to stay on the ICE roster and start their NITRO careers this season and not have to compete in their draft competitions. This move was made because some of the rookies in the ICE draft class haven't lived up to the billing and Frankie Beckham wanted to replace them immediately so some of them are already getting moved which is how ICE was able to acquire Janet Moore recently and make space for both Jesse and Marissa on the roster. ICE also grabbed Jezebel James on the eve of the very first day of the season back on Tuesday night and Jezebel James has also had one hell of a week with the Pheds up here in Toronto.
The next decision comes with a pair of twins called the Hebert Twins who have made quite a splash on social media this week as people around the world are buzzing about these two twins who are eligible for the 2019 and 2020 drafts. The Herbert Twins were originally discovered last year by new ICE rookie and New Girls in Town Pageant coordinator Suki Waterhouse. Some of the questions with this twin set coming into this season was that they might be ready to start in NITRO this season instead of waiting to get drafted.
The Herbert Twins did something very unusual this past weekend as they actually auditioned for three different draft competitions starting with the New Girls in Town Pageant on Friday night at Paramount Hall in Toronto and they were accepted to make the callbacks together in late October then very surprisingly they took a flight on Saturday to audition down in Atlanta for the very first Vegas Showgirls auditions and were accepted to the callbacks together in late October for that one and finally they traveled back up to Toronto on Sunday to audition for Teen Athlete and was accepted to callbacks for together in late October for that competition. They made all three auditions but they're only allowed to compete in one show this season and this created a problem but there are some auditioners who will audition for multiple programs to enhance their odds of making callbacks. Most auditioners will not do it because they competed as juniors the season before or don't want to overexpose themselves to other competitions that give them slimmer odds to make callbacks. Clearly these two girls gambled on it and it paid off for them.
Suki Waterhouse says they're also great musically but she didn't want them to compete in an exclusive music competition like The Carpenters Hour because she believes their top strength is athletically and she believed that ICE may take a look at that so they can get them on the Team ICE roster as early as this season allowing them to become professionals this season. That risk paid off and Suki was right as ICE took a look at their auditions and decided to bring them into ICE on Monday as as the newest active roster members. Plus there was the comparisons of having to stack up to Jesalyn Moe who apart of another talented NITRO twin combo in the Terrible Twins Jesalyn and Vanessa Moe from Philly.
They had great auditions that wooed all of the crowds and got social media talking about them all weekend because it was also unique how they auditioned for three different talent competitions. They were so good that the top auditioner in any draft competition this season in Kaia Gerber loved their performance and let her fans know on social media about before her audition was set to take place on Friday night. Unfortunately Kaia is stuck competing on the New Girls in Town Pageant this season and won't be eligible to skip the draft competitions.
The Herbert Twins go under the names Ivy and Mackenzie Herbert were originally from Australia but have moved around in certain spots in North America starting an early modeling career as children and they hail themselves mainly from Vancouver.
Ivy and Mackenzie Herbert will start working for ICE officially on Monday and will travel with Team ICE to Norwood on Monday night to participate in some of the sporting events and they will suit up for their first WFL game on Sunday. From what we know they'll be members of the BC Grizzlies roster.
ICE has until Monday October 22, 2018 to sign whoever they want to keep away from the draft competitions but they have a limited amount of contestants that they can sign over into their active roster this season so expect all of these decisions to be chosen wisely.
Hope Williams-Alfonso (ROD Knockouts) (left), Talia Scoggins-Alfonso (ICE Starlets) (center), Demi Alfonso (ICE Starlets) (right)
TORONTO, ON - In some more moves made by ICE Phederation General Manager Frankie Beckham it looks like ICE is ready to bring back one of their original draft picks Hope Williams-Alfonso who was dealt to ROD before the end of the draft to go to ROD in Los Angeles in become a Knockout while her two sisters Talia Scoggins-Alfonso and Demi Alfonso were drafted by the Pheds during the supplemental rounds and kept by ICE.
Things have changed since 2016 and Hope was no longer desired by ROD as Lucy Hale hasn't quite figured out how to use her in their studio so there's been mutual interests on both ends to get Hope Williams-Alfonso traded back to ICE. She will be apart of this big RTN trade that's going to go down hopefully before the end of the week.
Hope has been playing right along with her sisters for the new WFL squad Boston Hoods and they played together for the Hoods in New York on Sunday afternoon and there's been some interests from her sisters to bring her back to ICE so they can be together so now Hope is going to indeed be back with ICE.
ICE recently gave ROD a few of their draft picks Mackinley Summers, Juliane Landers, Kyra Santoro, Jacquelyn Jablonski, and veterans Tammi and Aimee Brooks which gave the Pheds Carmela Rose and Lulu Leithold in return and pretty soon that package is going to include Hope Williams-Alfonso.
The trade works out well for both sides and it gives Hope a home where management is familiar with her style and place in the studio.
Hope Williams-Alfonso has been described as a new and improved revamped version of herself as she can serve as a replacement for Michi Kat Grimes who they're going to have to replace until she comes back from her expected lengthy suspension which is going to be announced officially in the morning by the NITRO Officials. Hope is a very edgy individual but her sisters and those at ROD noticed that she's changed quite a bit as she's ready to get to work now and take care of her business and fool less around with the horse play.
Paige Van Buren will have to deal with Hope and Carmela Rose's attitude problems which sounded like it was a problem for Lucy Hale and her executive staff during training camp especially when it came to Carmela which is why she's officially getting traded but Paige has had a lot of girls on this roster with those issues and should be able to get her new acquisitions under control.
ICE has also picked up the Bertram sisters Stephanie Rose Bertram and Daphne Bertram as well as tough Aussie chick Lucky Trunfio while Tori Kelly is headed to SBC with Jasmine Sanders. ROD will pickup Gia Jolie and Nia Seymour from that RTN roster.
