FIRST DAY WITHOUT RTN TURNS OUT GREAT
NITRO Television officially went back to three networks and things were still going well to start this new season on our first Saturday of the new season. There was a battle going on in the morning for school student viewers as ICE went with their new Teen ICE block, ROD went with a mix of cartoons and talk shows aimed at younger viewers, and SBC also went with a similar block like ROD. Teen ICE came out on top very easily as they unleashed live action adventure shows with Tomb Raider and G.I. Jane which both finished over 21 million viewers leading into the huge premiere of the Saved By the Bell reboot which did 38 million viewers and a Kelly Kapowski rerun barely lost any of its viewers so this looks like a good tandem and Dustin Diamond has really succeeded with this Saved By the Bell franchise here. The Swimming Diaries finished with 34 million viewers and Bella Thorne's Cold Ass Igloo lifted ICE's morning numbers to over 40 million viewers. ROD was in second place behind the ICE block as their animated cartoons did way better than the RTN cartoons during the week but they weren't anywhere close to ICE as far as competition goes here but they drew a different audience. With ROD getting Santana Shields back will they bring back her guitar lessons show? This could put one of those animated hours in danger of being cut soon. Wake Me Up Karlie Kloss and Nikki Shields both got the ratings to around 20 million viewers so overall Lucy Hale had a solid morning to finish in 2nd place. SBC's morning was up and down as the soap recaps did okay but SBC had some shaky ratings for their educated audiences as Genevieve Hannelius' new talker came out on top of the SBC morning talk shows. What was interesting was Kate King and Sarah King actually went up Priscilla Martin and did way better here than they did during the week on This Afternoon Live so they clearly weren't the problem on that show. Ratings dropped for Jake T. Austin to wrap-up the weekend daytime talkers. The afternoon overall was pretty quiet for the networks as most of the actors had a full day of practice to get ready for the first WFL games of the season tomorrow but SBC held practice with limited players and got to 18 million viewers while Team ICE continues to soar with its repeat ratings getting 40 million viewers on Saturday afternoon. Clearly people are rewatching the show or it's still getting some viewers who missed it live on Wednesday or the first repeat airing from Thursday afternoon. One thing to keep an eye on as we head into tonight's action in primetime is Cherry Street Boarding School which repeated poorly earlier and with RTN out of the picture if the show fails, ICE might cancel it real quick. Also Vegas Showgirls and Xtina Grimmie Hour both premiere tonight and the first WFL games of the season also and Sheila Carter airs its season premiere in late night tonight so this should be pretty interesting.

Saturday Morning lineup did pretty well especially Saved By the Bell which is doing pretty fucking well as a franchise right now as I was super impressed with that repeat number from Kelly Kapowski. I think I might end up developing a sitcom to follow it but I think I might keep the repeats of Kelly Kapowski there instead.
As far as Cherry Street Boarding School goes with RTN out of the picture now I may yank it if it does horribly over the next few episodes because I air reruns to see the value of a show in syndication down the line.

ICE put in some good work on that Saturday morning lineup reminds me of the lineup that I grew up with back in the day when Saved By the Bell was airing on NBC and Team ICE is one hell of a repeater as well. Keeping an eye on Cherry Street tonight if this does bad ICE might ax it after tonight.
ROD's lineup did okay I think it needs to keep ahead of SBC but they need to bring back Santana Shields Guitar Lessons for sure.
SBC was up and down but G. Hannelius did okay they can make a few changes and will do better. I think having a WFL game late in the afternoons will help their average against ROD this fall on Saturdays.
I look forward to SBC having a monster night in the ratings and I want to see how Vegas Showgirls performs as well.

Brandon Lewis is going to be a star at SBC way better situation than RTN for him same with Janet Moore at ICE as I thought her ratings were coming in at mediocre levels she deserves to be with the top studio in the game.
