Kya Summers (ICE Starlets), Team ICE (ICE-TV) (Channel 7)
TORONTO, ON - Team ICE just got through slugging the shit out of Degrassi High in their first Team ICE game since NITRO returned after a 5-year absence and the young team led by young manager Samantha Hoopes won the game in style. Team ICE who represented their high school affiliate East York Secondary Academy in the Toronto high school league shutout one of the school's main rivals Degrassi High which the real school based on the popular teen TV show that made Drake, Nina Dobrev, and Shenae Grimes stars. It was TV school vs. TV school and Team ICE won the first battle of the day that won't end until later tonight when ICE faces the football team.
Kya Summers was back on the mound and she threw a gem of a game went almost the whole 7 innings throwing a shutout with 11 strikeouts and only giving up one hit in her efforts.
The story of the day though belonged to Bridget Satterlee who had 3 home runs and 11 RBIs which an impressive debut no doubt and she was joined by Nancy Nery who had an impressive surprising performance as well. The whole team did well today and it was a great team effort these young girls are showing some maturity after being drafted two years ago with worries about their behavior but some of that did show up before the game was over which we'll get to in a moment but overall this team had an elite effort today and now you see why ICE was so hungry for draft picks.
While Kya Summers was trying to finish the game in the top of the 7th inning she gave up one hit earlier in the game and she didn't forget about it as she exacted some revenge on this batter by throwing to this batter's head causing a brawl between the two teams to breakout resulting in a nasty fight that ultimate suspended the rest of the game although there was one out left but because of the score the umpire decided to call it early.
The manager for Degrassi High said that Team ICE was playing dirty and physical all afternoon and he knew something eventually was going to happen he called the ICE team thugs and that he's glad that his team will only have to face them once this season instead of two times. He feels sorry for the other teams that has to face them and he says Kya Summers should be behind bars not free on these streets like this as that girl carries herself like she kill anybody at anytime.
Kya Summers was later asked by a member of the media after the ballgame who caught up with her at the studio getting ready for her photoshoot what the manager said about her being a thug and a murderer on the mound.
Kya responded by saying that she was simply the best period and she owns the game when she's on the mound and getting a hit off of her is a sign of disrespect because you don't hit off of Kya Summers. She also said the manager was salty for losing 18-0 and not scoring a damn run and that we beat his team's ass during the brawl and left them bloody.
The concern going forward with Team ICE is that their problem child ways is showing up in these sports as we got a report that during the skateboarding match that a couple of the skaters which includes Michi Kat Grimes actually hit one of the Degrassi skaters with a damn skateboard stopping the match for 20 minutes.
Stephen A. Smith is watching today's action on the TV and he says ICE has gone too far and they play too aggressive they shouldn't had been allowed to play in that league and that league should cut them off now before they hurt every kid in Toronto because of it.
Next week is gonna be interesting because Team ICE travels to Norwood which is one of the worst cities in the world and there's a lot of thugs that will be watching these games in the stands a lot of people think that most of these games won't last very long because there will be a lot of fights on Tuesday. We'll see what happens but nothing should take away from how truly talented these new girls are as Bridget Satterlee is starting to look like the real deal right now.
You can see Bridget Satterlee in action again later tonight in hockey then football in primetime.
