This is super impressive what the rookies are doing at Team ICE right now they are doing some historical stuff here with this performance.

Kya Summers led off the inning getting walked

Nancy Nery gets the first hit of her career but Kya didn't reach 3rd base

Penny Perchik gets walk to load the bases up for Bridget Satterlee

Bridget knocks out her second home run of the season and this time it was a GRAND SLAM driving in all four baserunners giving Bridget 7 RBIs to start the new season

Kya Summers she's done some great work on the mound so far only giving up one hit and has 5 strikeouts so far but she's got some great defense behind her as Dinah Jeter looks crisp at shortstop right now.

ICE just looks flat out scary right now the pitcher on the mound for Degrassi High was one of the best prospects in the city and is supposed to compete on Teen Athlete this season.

Very good start for new manager Samantha Hoopes after all of the tough questions about her relationship with Tammy Oldehoff.

Let me say this real quick and I'll give more thoughts on it after the game ends but Bridget Satterlee is a fucking beast!

HOW THE FUCK DID BRIDGET GET PASSED UP 7 TIMES? 2 times by each studio except for ICE themselves in the draft.

This is where NITRO gets really fun because we can see how drafting well effects your studio's success and ICE so far is looking like they may have nailed it.

They've essentially replaced Allison Shields with Bridget Satterlee she's definitely showing you why there was hype around her and why she should've been the first pick for any of the studios except RTN taking Janet Moore.

I'm also very impressed with Penny Perchik, Natalie Cerretti, and Dinah Jeter as well but the one that's impressing me the most is Nancy Nery as she hasn't been out yet at the plate. She was taken in the 6th round as a project pick and she might be one of the biggest surprises of the year especially to win that job because if you look at the ICE reserves she probably had to earn her job in the lineup.

Also how about Kya Summers way back in 2010 what a pick she has turned into I can only hope her little sister Mackinley Summers lives up to that billing.

These updates are awesome and I appreciate Big Prox for doing these results and updates for me.

Man, I got a big old smile on my face right now seeing how Bridget Satterlee is murdering the ball out of the park right now and D. Stiles you said it perfectly she basically replaces Allison Shields by herself.

In defense of the other studios who didn't take her before pick #8, she was a huge risk as she was a knucklehead but she's grown up a lot over the past couple of years and she's maturing because of Natalie Ceretti whose been there by her side after Gia Jolie abandoned her friendship with Bridget.

I think the only girls I would've chosen ahead of Bridget was Janet Moore and Jesalyn Moe. I told ROD this before privately but I think they botched their first two picks in Gigi Hadid and Xenia Deli they'll pay and SBC will pay too. It remains to be seen with RTN as we gotta see how Gia Jolie turns out for them I expect Janet Moore to live up to draft status. It will be interesting though but I also still got Dasha Dereviankina who will make her debut in hockey later.

- Nancy Nery is going to be a surprise as you're right D. Stiles she had to earn her spot in center field honestly and it helped that Tammy Oldehoff snapped off like she did and Nancy Nery is proving she deserved to be in the starting lineup. She's gonna be fun to manage because Nancy can realistically be a top 25 star by season's end honestly she has that kind of potential. The Vancouver girls are special man that's why I love drafting them.

Yeah I hit a home run with Kya Summers she was risky too but she's one of the few people from that draft that has been a consistent star and professional.

As for Mackinley she's actually a starting pitcher she'll be pitching against Norwood next week, she's in roller derby, and she's a backup in football on the defensive side.

ICE's impressive historical afternoon continues as they have flooded the gates open on the scoring while Kya Summers is shutting Degrassi High down on the other side.

This time Bridget Satterlee hits her 3rd home run of the game as she goes 4-4 at the plate along with Nancy Nery who hasn't been out at the plate yet.

This is how Bridget Satterlee scored her next home run in the bottom of the 5th inning.

Nancy Nery gets her 3rd base hit of the game and it was a single and she then steals 2nd base.

Penny Perchik gets hit by a pitch putting her on 1st base.

Now with two runners aboard it's time for Bridget Satterlee to do her work at the plate and she smacks a 3-run bomb deep into center field where a bunch of students try to catch the ball as the school day ends at East York.

This gives Bridget Satterlee an impressive 11 RBIs today as she's responsible for 11 of the 15 runs scored through the bottom of the 5th inning.

Meanwhile we had a huge defensive play behind Kya Summers where Nancy Nery's impressive day continues she rescues a near Degrassi High home run in center with a spectacular catch to keep the shutout in tact.

GAME THOUGHTS

ICE has been a historical afternoon here in NITRO as we can say officially that NITRO IS BACK FOLKS!

This is what people have been looking forward to the past 5 years to see these draft picks come of age and start their NITRO careers its been a long 2-year wait since they've been drafted but now we're seeing them do their thing now.

Team ICE has stole the day as their impressive baseball performance is one for the ages with Kya Summers posting a shutout then Bridget Satterlee taking over the game blasting 3 home runs out of the ballpark and picking up 11 RBIs.

Catcher Natalie Ceretti came right in and made a huge impact on this team knocking out 2 solo home runs today in that cleanup spot.

Center Fielder Nancy Nery also had a very impressive day going 4 for 4 today from the plate and not getting out and Penny Perchik had an impressive debut as well getting her first home run and scoring 4 runs today.

Nancy Nery and Dinah Jeter along with Theresa Bush made some great defensive plays from the field as well. Theresa Bush had a fine day going 2-4 today as well.

Coming off the bench was Natasha Herbst who smacked the last home run for the last run of the game in her debut.

What was impressive about this effort is that Laffy Ennis is supposed to be one of the best pitching prospects in the city for Degrassi High and they smacked the shit out of the ball off of her.

Pitching wise Kya Summers had things on lockdown giving up no runs and only gave up one hit the entire game and had 11 strikeouts in the effort.

Things got nasty as Kya Summers was trying to close things out in the 7th inning but she hit one of the Degrassi High batters that got the only hit off of her in some frustration and this led to a brawl to end the game so the ending was nasty on a very proud day for ICE but that brawl ruins things a little bit. This ICE team was playing physical and dirty all day in what is a sign to come for the rest of the day.

Great start for Samantha Hoopes as manager with the black cloud over her about the Tammy Oldehoff benching things now seem better as Mackinley Summers will take the bump on Tuesday in Norwood for the first road contest of the season.
