PARIS, FRA - It looks like ICE and Paige Van Buren is doing some house cleaning a little bit as they've gotten rid of three of their stars the day before the season started on September 4th.
ICE also fired Riverdale's Camila Mendes who never got any work the whole time she was in the studio so ICE considers this as just cutting dead weight.
NITRO Insider Stephen A. Smith breaks the story that former ICE Starlet Genevieve Hannelius better known by her stage name G. Hannelius has supposedly returned to SBC today for the first day of work. Genevieve Hannelius started her NITRO career with SBC Universal before she was moved to the ICE Phederation back in 2013. Reports started rumbling that she was in total support of Jessica Lowndes but wasn't in support of Jessica leaving her job to give a fellow teenager Paige Van Buren the job.
G. Hannelius didn't accept the idea of new Daytime President Ashley Benson ending G. Hannelius' weekend talk show and Paige Van Buren not giving any support to her on trying to keep the show on the air despite strong ratings back in the fall of 2013. Things didn't end there for Genevieve she was an assistant coach on the football team and didn't receive any respect from the players or new Defensive Coordinator Emily Bader. Then grabbing Jezebel James was pretty much the last straw as she quit ICE and left to SBC on her own free will.
Paige Van Buren has been abusing her power a little bit since getting in charge as she seems to be getting rid of people who she's had beef with since becoming CEO and one of them was Anna Kendrick who was the old President of TEN under SBC's Kevin Smart and when TEN merged with ICE she was stuck being just an actor with ICE instead of one of the leading executives and Anna has had a problem with Paige not giving Anna what she wanted so enough was enough and it was time for a change as Paige fired Anna last night and now Anna Kendrick is completely out of work in NITRO and starts the new season as a free agent to any of the other three studios.
Also leaving is another surprise and that will be Victoria Justice who is one of the few remaining ICE originals on the roster and ICE originals are actors who had been on the roster since 2009 when the studio started and as ICE plans on celebrating its 10th year anniversary as a studio next season in 2019-20 it looks like Victoria Justice won't be celebrating with them as she was also fired by Paige Van Buren. The two had several differences and Paige had enough of Victoria's attitude and for the first time in her career she'll finally be able to leave ICE and go to one of the other studios.
Joining Victoria is Daniella Monet who left with Victoria in support of old TV sister on Victorious so now amazingly the only cast remember from that show or iCarly that remains is Leon Thomas III. That means that Bastard Kids has an opening available now.
Another ICE original was fired from ICE in Danielle Panabaker who is best known for her time at ICE as being the lead play-by-play announcer of the WFL's biggest games on ICE the last couple of seasons. This decision comes as ICE has given Arielle Kebbel as bigger role inside of the studio this year as the new Variety Coordinator along with hosting the morning show and being the lead play-by-play announcer for Team ICE's football matches and WFL games on ICE this season.
ICE also fired Riverdale's Camila Mendes who never got any work the whole time she was in the studio so ICE considers this as just cutting dead weight.
As far as what we know right now those are the only ones that we know of the big names that were fired just recently but Stephen A. Smith says his sources at ICE tell him there's a lot more coming on the way in the next few weeks and months.
Also Jessica Lowndes seems to still not made up her mind what she's ultimately going to do at the moment but it seems like she's definitely done with The ICE Phederation as she supports what Paige Van Buren has done over the last 2 years running the show there and doesn't want to get in her way.
ICE did add a couple of veterans in Hunter Tylo and Wayne Brady from B&B and Norma Kuhling from Chicago Med along with a youngster Brianna Joy Chomer to their roster though to aid them a little bit more in their soaps department.
ICE had a little youth movement though among their fires getting almost the whole cast of Legacies except for Danielle Rose Russell and Aria Shahghasemi who was grabbed by ROD a while back. Kaylee Bryant, Jenny Boyd, Quincy Fose, Peyton Alex Smith, Demetrius Bridges, Temara Melek, Selah Austria, Amy Manson, and Chris De'Sean Lee.
All in all there seems to be a big problem at ICE right now with the vets as the rookies have been fully embraced to them all as most actors from ICE's acting roster from the 2016-17 will not be showing up to work today as the studio is now flooded with mainly teenagers but there's still quite a few veterans that still to be apart of ICE's long-term plans but for the most part the house cleaning is on right now. Paige Van Buren told NITRO Officials that her roster will not be final until the 2nd half of the season after March this year as her executive staff is going to have weed through the people who they expect to actually be apart of this roster.
So here are the moves that we know about through now:
Genevieve Hannelius - SBC Universal
Anna Kendrick - Free Agency
Danielle Panabaker - Free Agency
Victoria Justice - Free Agency
Daniella Monet - Free Agency
Camila Mendes - Free Agency
Jessica Lowndes - Decision Not Made Up Yet (Confirms Not Returning to ICE)
