JEZEBEL JAMES ARRIVES HOME AT ICE
ICE Phederation Co-Owner Patrick Devine, new CEO Paige Van Buren, Chairman Marie Avgeropoulos, and General Manager Frankie Beckham were all on hand Wednesday morning to introduce their newest pickup in ex-SBC rookie draft choice Jezebel James to the Toronto and national media.
Co-Owner Pat Devine opened up by saying that he felt like Jezebel James finally arrived back home with ICE where she belonged as Pat Devine is the one who helped Raymond "Doc" Berry discover the troubled talent on the streets of Detroit back in 2010 as a little girl singing on the streets in front of a corner store. Patrick says it been a long 8-year journey to get to this day but we're here now and we're ready to roll as we know the past couple of years have been a struggle for Jezebel James and we're here to get her life back on the right track.
CEO Paige Van Buren echoed those sentiments from Pat that they are positioning themselves to get Jezebel James back on the right track and will give her a true chance to have the best career possible with the Phederation. Jezebel James grew up looking up to her hometown icons Allison Shields and Tracy Kimmell and she feels like she truly made it today starting her career at ICE like they did almost 10 years ago. Paige Van Buren says that the girls in the studio were extremely happy to see their girl Jezebel James show up today and hugged her and welcomed her in and she feels like that's going to take the studio's chemistry to the next level. Paige says the fun and games are over though as Jezebel James is going to get right to work today on a few different projects which will include Jezebel lacing up her skates to play hockey for Team ICE against Degrassi High later this evening and playing football with Bridget Satterlee and Dasha Dereviankina on defense.
Chairman Marie Avgeropoulos is going to be Jezebel's newest hockey coach and says that she will play limited minutes but will be out there as much as possible to help the team gets a dub. Marie Avgeropoulos is really looking forward to coaching such a talent like this as she's truly special and she says SBC will regret letting go of her instead of working with her to make her happier.
General Manager Frankie Beckham is the one who made the call last night to go grab Jezebel James after she got fired and he says getting Jezebel James today feels like Christmas morning as she's the last piece of the puzzle of his 2016 draft as he thinks Jezebel was the one rookie he needed to go get this season and he knew she was suffering from her unhappiness at SBC just like Lisa Grantham was before he picked up before the draft even started that year. Lisa Grantham has been happy ever since and is looking forward to starting her ICE career today as well. GM Frankie Beckham is a no-nonsense guy though he told Jezebel James right off the bat that he's not going to put up with her bullshit like SBC was doing with her he says she better be on her best behavior because he says Jezebel will be back on the streets of Detroit if ICE ever fired her since he doesn't believe that Ashley Greene or Lucy Hale will pick her up to work in either Chicago or Los Angeles respectively.
Back to Paige Van Buren, she is going to figure out what projects that Jezebel James will be in for the rest of this week and get something announced next week but she wants Jezebel to make rounds over the next couple of weeks before she finds a permanent role to be a guest star in some projects and will sing with the Diamond Girls at their Kelly Green Fridays concert on Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, Jezebel will focus on the athletic part of her career to start out her run going forward as she has a big game on Sunday as she plays with the defending world champion Detroit Fury.
Jezebel James will get her revenge on SBC when they come to Toronto for BOTNS later in the year and the city of Paris can get their revenge on Jezebel James later in the year as NITRO Officials told ICE that they will be seeing SBC at least twice this year on BOTNS.
Also, Paige Van Buren confirms a few different roster moves today to fit Jezebel James in as undrafted rookies Alisa Amos, Barbara Browning, and Karen Schultz will be optioned back to competing in the NITRO talent pool of competitions like Alisa will have to compete on Vegas Showgirls this season, Barbara Browning will have to compete on The Carpenters Hour, and Karen Schultz will compete on the New Girls in Town Pageant to get drafted in the next draft whenever that takes place. ICE famously made similar moves like this back in 2013 when they sent down Janet Moore who they lost to RTN at the draft, Waleska Gorczevski who they drafted, and Thylane Blondeau who has to compete on the NGIT Pageant this season. Paige hasn't announced rather Jesse Anzalone or Marissa Robertson will be optioned down just yet as ICE has until the very last audition shows for their respective competitions in October to make that decision or they'll have to pay them like paid professionals the rest of the season and give them a rookie contract. For right now Jesse Anzalone and Marisson Robertson will unofficially start their NITRO careers with The ICE Phederation to start the season which means they'll be eligible to compete for Team ICE today but they will not be competing in the Women's Football League this weekend since they're not officially paid as professionals and are working day-to-day without an official NITRO rookie contract.
TAMMY OLDEHOFF BENCHED BY ROOKIE COACH IN BASEBALL
One of the biggest stories of the day seems to be coming out of the athletic field in NITRO this morning as its been announced that new Team ICE baseball manager Samantha Hoopes has made the decision to bench Tammy Oldehoff this afternoon for the team's first baseball game of the season in the high school circuit against Degrassi High at home.
This decision comes after three separates incidents since the start of training camp a couple of weeks ago where Tammy Oldehoff has gotten into it with staff members of ICE like CEO Paige Van Buren and her defensive coordinator in football Emily Bader, Starlets Leader Rachel Bilson, and her baseball coach Samantha Hoopes who was a fellow draftee in 2016 in her class but was one of the older picks for ICE in that draft.
Tammy Oldehoff is one of the few female rapists that was taken in this draft with the most well-known being Lorenea Rape who ironically carries the name which might be the most ironic connection to a name in NITRO history. Tammy Oldehoff was actually convicted of one of her crimes when she raped a little boy back in 2011 in her grandmother's hometown of Jacksonville and got tried and charged for it back in 2012 and spent 6 months at juvie hall and the rest of the time at a reform school.
ROD's Jacqueline MacInnes Wood who discovered Tammy in Windsor and got her into the NITRO system after she was released from reform school back in 2013 and got her to audition for the New Girls in Town Pageant says that she is super disappointed in Tammy Oldehoff's behavior during training camp and wishes she was there at ICE to straightened her out.
The first incident for Tammy Oldehoff took place on the football field at practice back on Monday, August 20, 2018, when Tammy Oldehoff was snapped on by her defensive coordinator Emily Bader for missing an assignment and Tammy didn't take too kindly for being yelled at and she tried to choke Emily Bader out but Paige Van Buren got her off of Emily and those two got into a physical fight before finally being kicked out of practice. Paige Van Buren admits she lost her cool and says that's the biggest difference from being a player which is what she was used to and being the boss and a coach now that she has to keep her hands off of her players. Paige Van Buren is no stranger to witnessing these kinds of incidents as Jessica Lowndes when she was running the show had a number of fights with her players back in the day. Things have since cooled off since then and everybody is on the same page now.
The second incident took place outside of the sports realm a couple of days later back on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, as Starlets Leader Rachel Bilson was getting several of the rookies to straightened up in line and Tammy was not having with Rachel yelling at her as we see a similar theme here where Tammy doesn't like to have authority shouting at her. Tammy shoved Rachel to the floor and before things got worse security who was present broke everything up and cooler heads prevailed. Rachel Bilson and Tammy Oldehoff are still not getting along too well and haven't really apologized to each other on the incident.
The third and most recent incident took place back on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at baseball practice where new manager Samantha Hoopes got on Tammy for not hustling fast enough to first base on what could've been a bang-bang play and Tammy threw her bat into the dugout attempting to hurt Samantha but luckily it missed everybody in the dugout and for that Samantha kicked Tammy out of practice and she is still being disciplined today as she will sit on the bench. Tammy also hasn't participated in any of the practices since that day and has not apologized to her manager for that incident and Samantha said she won't play for Team ICE in baseball until she apologizes.
So far so good on the hockey side for Tammy as she'll be able to play that sport as she had no problems with Marie Avgeropoulos and her coaching staff. Paige Van Buren said that Tammy didn't make the starting lineup anyways on Emily Bader's defense because she wasn't better than the other girls but her attitude during camp didn't help matters.
We'll have more updates from this developing story later and how it turns out for Tammy the Rapist.
SAVED BY THE BELL FINDS ITS NEWEST KELLY KAPOWSKI
When you watch "Kelly Kapowski" this year you will find a new Kelly Kapowski on your screens as Dustin Diamond decides to recast the role originally held by Yasmine Green to now ICE's 6th round draft choice Victoria Konefal who will be taking on the role now as Yasmine Green was transferred to a role on "My Sister Kate" to replace Lucy Hale who left ICE to become ROD's newest CEO a couple of years ago. The original Kelly Kapowski, Tiffani Thiessen currently occupies the role on the Saved By the Bell revival project "The Adult Years" as Tiffani's version of Kelly is in her 40s on that show. Tiffani also has a role in Kelly Kapowski as well and the younger Kelly has the same name which is the point of the show as it's a show about a young girl who was named after Kelly Kapowski by her parents ends up finding Kelly to learn more about her and how to improve her life after running away from home at a young age.
Saved By the Bell franchise producer Dustin Diamond first discovered Victoria Konefal in La Guardian High School in New York City and had her audition for the New Girls in Town Pageant way back in 2013 where she would eventually get drafted by The ICE Phederation back in 2016. One thing Dustin loved about Victoria is that she reminded him so much of Tiffani Thiessen especially her face and immediately wanted to get her into one of his Saved By the Bell shows after she got drafted.
Also joining Victoria Konefal is a young friend of hers Jacquelyn Jablonski who was drafted ahead of her and grew up in New York with her as she'll have a designed role on the show as a cousin who finds her after she ran away from home.
Victoria Konefal will make her debut as the new Kelly Kapowski starting on Friday, September 7, 2018, when the new look sitcom tapes its season premiere live in daytime at 7pm/6c on ICE channel 7. Kelly Kapowski will take part in a special crossover event for the season premiere of The Adult Years the following Wednesday in primetime.
You can also see Victoria Konefal on Wednesday as she'll be competing in baseball and will be a runner for Team ICE and she'll make her debut on Youthful Daydreamers this Thursday where you can see her every weekday afternoon.
Also added to the Saved By the Bell franchise will be a full reboot of "Saved By the Bell" with a new cast of characters starting on Saturday, September 8, 2018, apart of the new Teen ICE block of programming aimed at teen viewers on Saturday mornings. The first episode will actually be taped the night before after Kelly Kapowski tapes its episodes on Friday this fall at 7:00pm in Toronto and right before Jaime tapes live in primetime for ICE.
The Saved By the Bell franchise will have three shows on the air this fall as you remember The Adult Years aired on ROD last season before moving to ICE this season.
