Family Albums
A slow day happens at the Robinsons house, the father is out fixing his car, his wife, Jessica, is still prepping the salad, and the two kids are stuck on a puzzle. Until Ray, the father, comes back in with oil all over his shirt. He asks his children: "Can either of you please get me a new shirt?"
With a sigh, Zoey, the eldest daughter, gets up and goes to her parents room. While her younger brother, Corey, follows.
While in the room Corey stumbles upon an old family album, Zoey becomes interested and starts flipping through the pages. After a while, Ray comes back asking what took so long.
With a half smile, Ray sits down with his kids and calls Jessica.
Ray opens a new album, and sees a younger picture of himself dressed as a clown making ballon animals. A long laughter blankets over the room. That is when he asks if they'd want to know what happened that day. Instantly the audience is transported to that day, reveling that that was his day job. Dressing as a clown and making ballon animals for children. It was going to be his last day doing this job, when he spots a woman in the crowd.
"wait, you're telling me that you met MOM while you were in your clown outfit??" Shouted Zoey.
"no" sighed ray. "I met her sister."
Throughout each episode of Family Albums a new picture is presented that furthers the characterization and back story of the parents, their relatives, friends, and family members that have already passed away. Each episode should offer a lesson to be learned, and introduce the radical idea that "parents were once young". Some pictures can connect with each other, some can contradict each other. For example, the first twist in the series would be a picture that reveals a wedding ring on a family member that was believed to be single her whole life, was she once married? if she was, then who did she marry?
The family album can contain as many secrets as it can hold, but every episode can be watched without prior knowledge of what happened in the past few episodes.
With that being said, there is a central story that will connect all the family albums.
This show is about teaching kids that their family tree is important, while offering a great story for the audience to become apart of all of the silly, sad, serious, and sentimental pictures taken, and placed, in the Family Albums
